Chapter 277

Chapter 271: Audience with the Vishanti (2)

2022-10-19 Author: Great Demon Spirit

The Vishanti are the Triune Gods composed of three magical entities—Oshtur, Hoggoth, and Agamotto—and are one of the ultimate magical entities of the Multiverse.

Oshtur is the source of White Magic, Hoggoth is the god of magic referred to in the Kamar-Taj spell "Hoary Hosts of Hoggoth...", and Agamotto was the very first Sorcerer Supreme of Kamar-Taj, one of the ancient deities born from Yggdrasil in primordial times.

Together, the three form the Level Eight entity known as the Vishanti, also called the "Trinity of Vishanti" or the "Vishanti Trinity."

What Tony had to do was use an Ancient Ritual of Kamar-Taj to spiritually cross the Infinite Universes and Dimensions to connect and communicate with the Vishanti.

This was a duty for every Sorcerer Supreme.

The complex and mystical magic array slowly began to operate. Mordo, who had been standing guard, silently pushed open the door and left, leaving Tony to himself.

Tony placed the Eye of Agamotto and the Time Stone it housed in the center of the magic array, while also setting the Book of the Vishanti at an outer point of the array to act as a catalyst.

"Ancient Vishanti, in the name of the Sorcerer Supreme..."

Tony chanted the Spell, channeling his Magic into the Teleportation Array, and began to communicate with the ethereal Vishanti using his Mystic Energy.

The magic array started to bloom with a dazzling golden light. A sliver of Tony's Spirit—or you could say, a wisp of his Soul—floated through the endless Space-time, following the array's path.

At an astonishing speed, pulled by an unknown force, Tony surpassed the constraints of Space-time and the limits of Dimensions.

He could even personally witness orb-like Universes shrinking in his field of vision. In his spiritual form, Tony moved at an indescribable velocity through the "Blood Realm" that existed between Universes.

A massive number of Universes vibrated at different frequencies within the same space, together forming the Multiverse. The vast expanse between these Universes was known as the "Blood Realm."

Within the Blood Realm, a viscous energy flowed slowly, as scorching, violent, and heavy as magma. Tony had no doubt that if his Demigod-level Soul were thrown into the Blood Realm, he wouldn't even be able to budge and would be slowly eroded to death.

To cross the Blood Realm was to cross the Multiverse.

Following the guidance, Tony forged ahead until finally, a great wall that sealed off the vast Multiverse appeared in his sight.

This wall had no uniform color; it was as if composed of all kinds of similar Hyper-energetic Particles that possessed an inexplicable cohesion, constantly moving at high speed.

The Power of Time could not erode it, Spatial Power was helpless to bind it, and even a Soul was not qualified to face this boundless Barrier directly.

The Speed Force Wall, a barrier that protected the Multiverse in its own unique way, was created by The Flash and firmly enveloped every region of the Multiverse.

"So this is the source of the Speed Force... the border between the Omni-Sphere World and the Sphere of the Gods..." Tony stared, utterly shocked, at the great wall that transcended Space-time.

The immense spherical domain formed by the Multiverse, the Blood Realm, and the Speed Force Wall collectively constituted the "Omni-Sphere World." Beyond the Speed Force Wall lay the place where only Unique Beings were qualified to roam, known as the "Sphere of the Gods."

The Speed Force Wall acted like a solid Barrier, restricting the beings of the Multiverse while also holding back terrifying enemies within the Sphere of the Gods, preventing those dreadful entities from casually invading the Multiverse and wreaking havoc.

But whether by coincidence or by design, the Speed Force Wall's perception of Tony was not just unfriendly, but downright hostile.

The moment Tony's Spirit approached, intending to pass through, countless torrents of Speed Force surged forward, battering the Mystic Energy protecting him until it was on the verge of collapse.

Tony could only watch helplessly as the Vishanti's Mystic Energy surrounding him was blasted away bit by bit.

The usually calm Speed Force seemed to have erupted into a riot the moment he neared the wall.

The Speed Force Wall seemed to harbor immense malice and animosity toward his arrival.

Tony's attempt to traverse the wall and reach the dwelling of the Vishanti, who resided in the Sphere of the Gods, was seemingly met with revulsion and targeted opposition by the Speed Force Wall.

"What did I ever do to you..."

Tony's face darkened as he watched the Speed Force relentlessly bombard him. Did every being who wanted to cross the Speed Force Wall have to face such targeted hostility?

But this was too much. The Mystic Energy protecting him came from the Level Eight Vishanti! It was on par with the Speed Force Wall!

From the looks of it, the Speed Force Wall was dead set on killing him...

Just as the Mystic Energy around Tony was about to shatter, a massive beam of light pierced through the Barrier, enveloped him, and forcibly pulled him into the Sphere of the Gods, taking him to some unknown location.

Faintly, he seemed to hear an angry huff from the Collective Consciousness of the Speed Force Wall.

Tony had absolutely no idea how he had offended the Speed Force Wall and felt utterly aggrieved.

At the end of the path, three indistinct figures were quietly waiting for him.

This place, the Sphere of the Gods, transcended time, space, soul, and dimension. It was even more boundless than the Multiverse, a world where Unique Beings roamed free.

Here, numerous Supreme Domains existed; massive planets like Apokolips and New Genesis were located in this world.

This was also the first time Tony had met the legendary Triune Vishanti.

There was none of the pressure he had imagined, only a sense of intimacy and warmth.

There was no reason for the Vishanti to impose any restrictions on the Sorcerer Supreme from Earth.

After all, Agamotto, one of the Vishanti, had even been the first Sorcerer Supreme.

"It seems you've offended the Speed Force Wall quite badly." Agamotto, completely shrouded in dense Mystic Energy, was the first to speak, his voice tinged with a smile.

The other two members of the Vishanti remained silent, quietly observing Tony.

"When did I offend it?" Tony was bewildered. A small fry like him was seeing the physical manifestation of the Speed Force for the first time today. How could he have possibly offended it?

"You once accidentally released a very terrifying fellow, someone the Speed Force Wall had barely managed to lock in a Prison using every means at its disposal." Agamotto laughed heartily, his ancient voice filled with what seemed to be a deep interest in Tony.

"Who?" Tony asked.

"There's no harm in telling you. That person's name is Savitar... one of the Flashes from the Multiverse. Of the countless Flashes across the Multiverse, he was the one most likely to become a Unique Being." Agamotto paused, then explained kindly, "Savitar wanted to become the God of Speed, to command everything related to speed."

"If he had succeeded, he would have become terrifying. Even a Mortal on Earth would have needed Savitar's permission just to run."

Agamotto was very affable, not treating him like a stranger in the slightest. "Later, Savitar was on the verge of success, but at the end of time, some very secret events occurred, leading to a complete rupture between Savitar and the Speed Force. The Speed Force Wall gathered countless Flashes and launched a terrible battle against Savitar, with countless Timelines serving as their battlefield."

"This battle caused Time Distortions in hundreds of millions of Universes. The mutated constants and parameters directly caused these Universes to collapse in on themselves."

"You can probably guess the result. Savitar was defeated. All the preparations he had made for his ascension to a Unique Being were destroyed. The Speed Force Wall, at great cost to its own power and with the deaths of countless Flashes, finally managed to lock Savitar into the Speed Force Prison that was meticulously crafted for him."

"And then, you were the one who let him out."
