Chapter 353: Crushing Dracula
Legend has it that the Vampire Clan has an Old Ancestor slumbering underground.
He is the sole Progenitor of all current vampires, the source of their entire race.
But even the vampires themselves rarely entertained ideas about this Old Ancestor, much less tried to dig him up.
Because no one wanted to find themselves an ancestor to worship—especially one who held the power of life and death over them.
Perhaps when facing the encirclement and annihilation by Tony's forces, some high-ranking vampires had considered awakening the Progenitor, but before they could act, they were wiped out by Tony's subordinates.
The Vampire Kingdom's fall from its peak took just a little over three years. It was too fast, so fast they had no time to gather the massive manpower required to search for the Progenitor's Slumbering Place.
But Tony knew. Or rather, he had a way of knowing.
The Slumbering Place of the Vampire Progenitor, Dracula, was in the Middle East.
"With this fragment of the Stone Stele, I can find Dracula's Slumbering Place and then kill him." Tony surveyed his surroundings. The boundless desert, the blue sky, and the yellow sand formed a world of stark contrast.
The scenery didn't stir the slightest emotional ripple in him. In his hand, he still held the stone fragment, stained with black blood.
Back when he killed the Blood God Deacon, he had charged straight into the Altar to battle him. After killing Deacon, he had casually taken a stone fragment from the Altar's stele.
Now, this fragment would be of use.
The Blood God originated from Dracula's research. It was a consumable created by Dracula in his early years to fight Apocalypse. The mysterious inscriptions on those thirteen Stone Steles all came from Dracula.
This gave Tony his chance.
Allspark Activation. In an instant, it analyzed all the secrets of the stone fragment, dissecting and interpreting the mysterious text left on it. It traced the location of its origin, acting like a crude Locator Device, pinpointing a location somewhere in the Middle East.
Countless Allspark particles, under Tony's control, spread out to cover everything. These particles delved between every grain of sand, searching every inch of land, and then fed all the information back to him.
"Found it... the same source of Power..."
Tony's head snapped up, his expression cold. The moment he took a step, the scenery abruptly changed. He was already on a high sand dune. Beneath his feet, the soft sand provided a comfortable sensation.
With a slight exertion of force in his arm, the stone fragment was easily crushed into powder, turning into dust finer than sand and scattering in the wind.
He lifted his right foot. Then, utilizing the power of every single muscle to its absolute limit, he stomped down viciously, unleashing a terrifying, earthquake-like tremor!
With Tony at the epicenter, it was as if an earthquake had suddenly erupted. The calm desert was thrown into violent turmoil. A vast area of the ground trembled astonishingly, and deep fissures even formed in the earth, swallowing large amounts of sand. From a distance, it looked like a natural disaster as a huge region began to cave in!
At the same time, numerous surrounding countries immediately issued earthquake warnings to their citizens.
"A small-scale earthquake has been observed."
"It's in a No Man's Land, no need for concern."
"Further details are under investigation."
The immense concussive force traveled downwards, heading straight for the depths of the earth. The terrifying power conducted itself wildly, like a giant hand cleaving its way down. The entire desert seemed to tremble slightly, awed by that straight, descending force.
This power tore its way down brutally, ripping through vast areas and shattering a large portion of the most mysterious stone chamber below, waking the thing that slumbered within.
Roar!
A sound not of a human rang out, like the low growl of a Monster from the Deep Sea. An ancient creature had been violently awakened by Tony's brute force. Filled with furious Rage, its strong, burly body flexed slightly and shot upwards like a cannonball, smashing through layer after layer of strata. The vast amount of earth and crushed rock could do nothing to stop this creature.
"Who dares disturb my slumber!!!"
The savage roar erupted from the mouth of a humanoid monster. Its head was like that of a beetle, its mouth filled with dense rows of small, sharp teeth lining its oral cavity. When its lips occasionally parted, they split into several petals, just like those advanced vampires, the "Reapers."
No, it should be said that the Reapers were like Dracula.
The Reapers were an advanced version of the Vampire, researched by the Vampire King in an attempt to overcome the Vampire's Racial Weakness, taking a great stride down the path of Atavism.
Unfortunately, Dracula was, after all, the Progenitor. A Progenitor is not so easily replicated.
"Dracula, I've come for your life." Tony's expression was calm. The ancient, savage Aura emanating from his opponent had no effect on him whatsoever.
In terms of savagery, he was superior. In terms of strength, he was confident he could kill this Progenitor.
The Progenitor of the vampires was, in the end, nothing more than a lowly beast. Killing him would not be difficult.
"Who are you?" Dracula's head began to transform, eventually taking on the appearance of an adult man with well-defined, perfectly proportioned features. He was now staring at the uninvited guest with cold eyes.
"What year is it now?" Dracula added, looking at his surroundings.
"I'll tell you after you're dead."
Tony said this in all seriousness. Before Dracula could get angry, a ferocious expression appeared on his own face as he brewed a violent Rage that surpassed Dracula's.
He was indeed very irritable right now, extremely irritable. Depression, frustration, resentment—all sorts of emotions were mixed together, causing a vicious Rage to fester in Tony's heart.
*Perhaps slaughtering the beast before me will make me feel a little better?* Tony speculated internally.
His movements became even more swift. His figure vanished in a blur, leaving a Phantom in the air. Before the Phantom had even drawn close, Tony himself had already appeared before Dracula. With a savage grin, he smashed a fist viciously into Dracula's face.
The instantaneous explosion of speed and formidable power sent Dracula flying. Where the fist had struck his face, a deep, fist-shaped indentation was left behind, leaving Dracula's face caved-in and distorted.
"You're courting death!" Dracula was enraged. He bared his sharp fangs, which glinted with a cold light. His muddled brain cleared, and he charged toward Tony.
The two figures slammed into each other. With a grim face, Tony hammered punch after punch into Dracula's body. Each fist left a new indentation on the Progenitor.
But Dracula's fists were useless against Tony's body.
"Damn it!"
Dracula was exceptionally furious. His entire body began to transform back into its original form—a humanoid Beast. His physical attributes skyrocketed, and a powerful vampire Virus began to brew within his body.
The two of them collided with a boom, like meteors. Two Sonic Booms weakly crashed into each other, then helplessly scattered in the face of the collision between the two terrifying creatures. The Sonic Boom that would make an Ordinary Human's face pale was as gentle as a light breeze to them.
