Chapter 438

Chapter 426: The Virus-like Information Aggregate

“I'll take care of the Genesis Chamber for you. Don't worry about the Codex of Life.”

Tony stomped heavily on the ground. The floor, comparable in hardness to secondary adamantium, caved in under Tony's thousand-ton power. Dense cracks, like the patterns on a century-old tree's bark, spread out.

Zod's eyes twitched, a grim look and a flash of murderous intent flashing within them.

“You actually know everything!”

Zod stomped fiercely on the ground. Each step he took left a footprint far deeper than Tony's, firmly embedded. With every step, Zod's movements seemed somewhat heavy and clumsy.

But his speed grew faster and faster, becoming more and more astonishing!

The two figures were about to collide. Raven picked up Cosmo and seemed to obediently flash to the side in the first moment, clearing the space. But if one saw her cunning and fierce expression, as well as her faintly stirring demonic aura, they would never mistake her for an ordinary little girl.

The two figures collided with a boom. Tony's body, which was even taller than Zod's, was immediately brought to a halt by Zod.

“I've won, Sorcerer Supreme.”

Zod pressed his shoulders against Tony's chest. A hint of astonishment couldn't help but appear on his savage face.

Tony's power surprised Zod somewhat, but that was only when considering the typically frail bodies of sorcerers.

Zod had been absorbing sunlight, and his power index had already broken through ten thousand tons. It was still soaring and about to cross the hundred-thousand-ton threshold. Tony's few thousand tons of strength were nothing in front of a powered-up Zod.

Zod had always been confident that as long as he got close, he could instantly kill any sorcerer.

One punch would be enough to kill a sorcerer! He would never give them a chance to use magic!

On Zod's face, his savage features suddenly magnified. Grotesque veins bulged and throbbed wildly. The muscles on his body swelled up, every single one filled with terrifying energy, all mobilized by Zod at this moment.

This unprecedented strength intoxicated Zod. He roared, his body growing stronger. His blood vessels, flowing with blood as hot as lava, pulsed violently with his roar.

His powerful heart contracted fiercely, then erupted with the energy of thousands upon thousands of missiles, supplying Zod with even greater power.

“You shouldn't have come here, Tony! I will kill you and build a new Krypton on your world!”

Zod roared, his bulging muscles beginning to exert their force. He pushed against Tony, sending him flying backward like a runaway train, leaving deep gouges in the hard floor.

The doors to the Genesis Chamber were smashed open, causing the entire spaceship to tremble slightly.

Zod pushed Tony to the edge, then his eyes glowed red as he unleashed his hundred-thousand-degree Heat Vision. This feeling of pleasure from releasing energy so wantonly was assaulting General Zod's sanity.

His power erupted. Zod raised his right fist and smashed it violently into the left side of Tony's face. A terrifying sound, like a meteorite impact, rang out with a *clang*. It traveled through the metal walls in all directions, spreading throughout the entire spaceship and even reaching the outside world, causing the clouds to dissipate!

*Thump!*

Tony was sent flying out of the spaceship by the punch, smashing a huge hole through its hull. A few drops of blood were left behind along his trajectory.

Zod immediately turned back to look at the Genesis Chamber. Fortunately, it was unharmed. He breathed a sigh of relief and looked at the gaping hole with a strange expression.

His senses told him that the Sorcerer Supreme was dead. The terrifying force of that punch could even rival the spaceship's secondary cannons. It was the strongest punch Zod had ever thrown in his life. Even someone as strong as the Sorcerer Supreme would have his head blown apart by it.

“Could it have been a clone?”

General Zod strode forward to the edge of the large hole, feeling the high-altitude cold wind and the biting cold.

He possessed extremely high combat intelligence, and his intuition was also reminding him that the Sorcerer Supreme wouldn't die so easily. A guy whose name was famous throughout the universe shouldn't have been instantly killed by him in one move.

Therefore, this "Sorcerer Supreme" must have been a physical clone, just some cannon fodder sent here to die.

“Come out, Tony! I'm waiting for you right here!” General Zod roared.

Suddenly, Zod felt a wave of pain in his right hand. The spot where a few drops of Tony's blood had splattered was actually making a sizzling sound. The drops of blood quickly withered and turned black. Something that made him feel his very soul tremble was about to seep into his body.

In an instant, his entire right hand began to be corrupted and wither away. All the living tissue in his right hand was rapidly disintegrating, heading towards death.

It was as if it had met its natural enemy.

*Boom!*

A figure crashed back in. This time, it slammed into Zod, smashing through several walls and ramming him hard into the wall on the other side of the spaceship.

It was Tony. The left half of his skull was almost completely shattered.

“I said I would kill you, and I will. You're unlucky, Zod. You ran into me while I'm undergoing rapid evolution.”

Tony's face was cold. Under Zod's astonished gaze, he reached for Zod's right hand.

In just five short seconds, Tony's head was restored to its original state, as if an image was being played in reverse. Every drop of blood, every cell, recovered at a dumbfounding speed.

This terrifying Healing Factor was dozens of times stronger than Wolverine's. Even with his head smashed in, he could recover completely.

You have to understand, if Wolverine had half his head blown off, he'd basically be on death's door.

“You freak!” Zod was shocked and furious. He punched Tony in the chest, then quickly sidestepped, leaving sunken marks on the ground.

His right hand was being rapidly corroded. The living matter within his body was collapsing and decaying as if it had met its natural predator.

“What did you do? What kind of magic is this?” Zod roared angrily, feeling his power drain away.

“I didn't do anything. It's simply… my blood carries its own power. The level of life-form you possess can't withstand my dispersed information aggregate.”

Tony said indifferently.

Don't be fooled by the few drops of blood. That was Quasi-Unique Life Blood, directly connected to Tony himself and in communion with an endless aggregate of information.

Zod's direct contact with those few drops of blood was equivalent to him becoming a new carrier for Tony's information aggregate… This was a suicidal move.

Those few drops of blood were merely a medium, guiding a terrifying amount of information to wash over Zod's cells.

No matter how powerful Zod's cells were, they were only at a high-level genetic state. It was impossible for them to withstand the pressure from the multiverse and infinite timelines.

The excess information directly… overloaded Zod's living tissues to death.

Like an endlessly multiplying virus, it had completely destroyed Zod's right hand and was now spreading to the rest of his body.

A deep look of fear and ruthlessness flashed across Zod's face. He unleashed his Heat Vision and decisively severed his almost-withered right hand.

A beast-like roar escaped him. After retracting his Heat Vision, Zod's eyes held an added touch of frenzy. His gaze became incredibly dangerous as he covertly looked in the direction of the Genesis Chamber.
