Chapter 479

Chapter 466: What Have You Done!!!

Tony sneered and clenched his fist tightly. A power that transcended space lashed out, sweeping directly toward the furious Metron.

A brilliant light suddenly erupted from the Mobius Chair, effortlessly neutralizing Tony's attack.

"What are you doing! This is utter foolishness!!"

Metron couldn't help but roar in anger. He felt that he had come to help out of the goodness of his heart, only to be humiliated.

This was intolerable.

*I came with good intentions, so why are you treating me like this!*

Amid his annoyance, Tony couldn't help but feel a little helpless.

To say Metron was a supervillain and an asshole wasn't entirely accurate.

Although he acted with a degree of selfishness, reveling in weaving between all sides during major events and subtly influencing their will, he wasn't truly malicious.

To put it bluntly, he just liked to show off and boast, while also not wanting anything he knew to change. Change meant the unknown, and for someone whose head had been turned by the knowledge granted by the chair, the unknown was what he hated most.

But sometimes, the things Metron did and said were truly... beyond comment.

Some high-and-mighty guy looks down on you from above, proclaiming that his idea is the best and that your own plans are dogshit.

No wonder Metron always got beaten up.

Now, Tony was going to beat him up too. And after Tony was done with him, a chair-less Metron probably wouldn't get the chance to be beaten up by everyone else in turn.

That's right, Tony was saving him.

Besides, Tony was genuinely interested in the Mobius Chair and was more than happy to dismantle the thing to study its secrets.

The intelligent chair immediately had a bad premonition and worked with all its might to help Metron resist Tony.

"Is this chair all you rely on? Metron, you're nothing without it!"

Tony stomped on the ground, and the entire Earth began to tremble. A terrifying fissure tore open, instantly cleaving more than half of Wakanda.

The power spread, reaching the oceans and stirring up monstrous waves. The sea roared incessantly as a tsunami hundreds of meters high prepared to crash violently onto the land, but another surge of power arrived and pacified it.

"This chair is a part of my body," Metron said coldly, once again neutralizing Tony's attack. "My chair can create a powerful barrier that could defeat you in an instant. You don't have the Infinity Stones; you are no match for me. It seems defeating a Trigon Clone with external help has made you arrogant. You have no idea what kind of being you're facing."

Metron and his chair suddenly vanished, reappearing behind Tony as a power so terrifying it made one tremble was unleashed.

"I am the God of Knowledge, the Supreme Deity who commands all knowledge."

"I can easily traverse the Multiverse and converse with the Five Great Gods. I can reach the edge of the Omni-Sphere World in an instant and communicate with the Speed Force Wall."

"I can freely enter the Sphere of the Gods, where the frozen space-time has no effect on me. I converse cordially with countless supreme deities, who treat me as a guest of honor."

"I have saved countless universes, and this time, I—bearing the grace of the gods—have come to save you."

Metron seemed to have gotten into character, leaning his body forward slightly to get a better look at the expressions of everyone present.

His gaze held pity and solemnity.

Clark was stunned because he couldn't understand a single word this guy was saying. Some of the Wakandans were also stunned, falling to their knees. This reaction was very gratifying to Metron.

His posturing had succeeded.

But the reaction of the other Transformers left him very dissatisfied, as they had already taken out their primitive weapons and aimed them all at him.

Tony was even more direct, turning and slapping his hand toward the Mobius Chair. An energy barrier stopped him, but he immediately unleashed an even more astonishing power.

The energy barrier emitted a barely audible sizzle.

Metron's expression changed.

The chair beneath him sent him a "danger" signal. In an instant, he received a massive amount of calculations, from the collision of countless energy particles to the power consumption of both sides, the remaining duration of the energy barrier, and countless possible future outcomes.

"How can you possess this level of power!" Metron exclaimed in shock and anger.

He tried to command the chair to conduct a deeper probe, but to his dismay, a powerful and mysterious black shroud blocked him. No matter how much power he poured into the shroud, there was no reaction.

The black shroud was like a bottomless pit, devouring all of Metron's overt and covert probes.

It was as if the power of the Mobius Chair had suddenly failed; there were things even the God of Knowledge did not know.

*Could Doomsday have come for this black shroud?* Metron wondered.

It was either some kind of mysterious energy or some unique items.

In an instant, Metron understood. For something to leave him, the God of Knowledge, completely in the dark, it must be related to "Uniqueness."

Only things related to "Uniqueness"—phenomena of which a "second" could never exist throughout all time—could cause him to suffer such repeated setbacks.

Thinking this, Metron's heart grew even more fervent.

*Knowledge related to Uniqueness? This… this is insane! This is exactly what I desire most!*

Uniqueness was a domain Metron could not touch. Having only just acquired the chair, he had absolutely no understanding of the secrets related to it.

Just as Metron was about to speak, Tony suddenly stretched out his other hand and grabbed the barrier. The power from the One-Above-All made the barrier he was grasping cave inward.

Immediately after, a portal appeared, and Tony pulled Metron directly into outer space.

Metron did not resist. He wasn't a maniac bent on destruction, so there was no need to smash the Earth to pieces.

"Tony, I want to know what you possess. Just let me have one look! In exchange, I'm willing to take you and your family away from this universe! I can send you to a safe place!" Metron said eagerly.

The God of Knowledge yearned for all knowledge, including the secrets of Uniqueness.

"Alright. Give me your chair first," Tony said coldly, standing in space.

Metron faltered slightly, looking a bit unnatural. "No one can command the Mobius Chair. No one."

"I can. You can't. You are merely the chair's servant, a slave to knowledge, while I am its true master."

Tony sneered, silently calculating the time. Then, the dormant Allspark suddenly pulsed. A terrifying surge of Allspark energy, enough to cover the entire Solar System in seconds, rushed madly toward the Mobius Chair.

"You think you can use that machine-animating superpower of yours? It's useless. My chair… Dammit! What have you done!!!"

Halfway through his sentence, Metron couldn't even maintain his composure, roaring with a trace of panic in his voice.

His control over the chair was actually loosening.
