Chapter 476: Eradicate the Mutants of Earth
"Of course, I've been preparing for this all along."
Tony smiled. He touched the teapot; the water had grown a little cool. He directly manipulated its atoms to accelerate them, heating the tea. Then, he very naturally picked it up and poured a cup for both Professor X and Magneto.
The fragrance of the tea wafted through the air.
"Then who do you plan to take with you?"
"Everyone who is willing to come with me," Tony replied. "After this Doomsday incident, I will depart immediately. The Kryptonian and Chitauri warships are sealed away and ready to be activated at any time."
As for Wakanda, once the residents were settled, the remaining work of replacing the land would be simple.
Once Doomsday was dealt with and Tony had the gene samples he wanted, he would set off.
There was nothing left on Earth to make him stay. If he really had to find something, it would be nothing more than the word "homeland."
Bang!
Magneto slammed his teacup down on the table, saying angrily, "Enough, Tony! Why can't you just consider staying? Earth is big enough for those Iron Men you created to live on. If Earth isn't enough, there's the Moon, and there's Mars! Why won't you think more about the Mutants? You have the strength and prestige to rule Earth, why leave to choose a more troublesome path!"
Magneto had truly lost his composure, which was unlike him.
But he couldn't help but flare up.
Tony was the most suitable Mutant leader he had ever seen—strong, prestigious, well-connected, with a cunning and shameless personality, yet he did not lack a sense of responsibility... He was simply the perfect candidate.
But why was he so unwilling to stay?
"So, Erik, are you interested in leaving with me?"
Tony unhurriedly lifted his teacup, savored the tea's aroma, and said leisurely, "Not just you, but all Mutants. I welcome anyone who is willing to follow me. We will build a planet, a planet that belongs only to Mutants."
"As for this nation-building you've been planning... it's not a bad idea, but it's utterly pathetic compared to building a planet."
Magneto froze, looking up in astonishment. He then glanced at Professor X, who was deep in thought.
"You've always wanted to build a planet for your robots, so where would the Mutants live?"
"A planet should have a few satellites. I'll be blunt, I've mastered the method of creating Kryptonians. That's right, just like Zod and Superman. I have the key to their species' proliferation. Even if none of you are willing to come with me, I will build satellites specifically for the newborn Kryptonians."
Tony leaned back on the sofa and spoke calmly.
This was his grand plan.
With Cybertron as the core, surrounded by numerous satellites. These could serve as satellite-class space fortresses during conquests and also cultivate a large number of warriors, scientists, and workers.
Unlike the Cybertron from his previous life, which was born at the apex of the universe, looking down on all other life.
But that wouldn't work here. This Cybertron couldn't be as isolated as the one in his past life; it had to be open, to interact with other civilizations and powerhouses.
Building a group of satellites was undoubtedly the best method, with diverse and powerful life forms and several races interacting with one another.
As for whether Cybertron could support these satellites... one only needed to think of Apokolips. That place was a juggernaut, its volume equivalent to who knows how many universes combined.
As long as Tony didn't die, he would definitely strive to reach that level.
Just imagine it: Cybertron growing from the size of Earth, to the size of the Solar System, then the Milky Way Galaxy, then a universe, and then thousands or even tens of thousands of universes...
Would adding a few tiny satellites be that difficult?
Perhaps it would be very challenging in the beginning. After all, building a purely metal planet was incredibly difficult, let alone satellites.
But once they weathered the initial phase, the power this civilization would unleash would be terrifyingly immense.
A Transformer Legion, a sun-absorbing and fearless Kryptonian legion, plus a Mutant legion with a vast array of abilities, led by a terrifying Omega-level Mutant...
And that wasn't even counting the sub-factions within the Transformers, such as those specializing in magic, divine power, or different chassis types...
A collective with absolutely no weaknesses, a collective tightly united around Tony.
Even if Tony truly became a powerful Supreme God, he would still need helpers. Did he expect to charge into the Sphere of the Gods alone? Unless he joined a faction for protection, he would never know peace.
Even in the Sphere of the Gods, the value of a Supreme God was incredibly astonishing, whether alive or dead. Countless deities and their favored ones would flock to him.
Magneto was stunned by this information. After exchanging a look with Professor X, they were both left speechless.
To be honest, Magneto's heart was racing.
Perhaps at first glance, the idea seemed absurd. Building a planet and satellites—was it really that easy? But Tony's strength and abilities were plain to see, and even if they couldn't build one...
They could form a group and go steal one, right?!
Just go snatch a ready-made planet from someone else! Wouldn't that be great?!
Professor X was more rational. He liked to consider the downsides first before the benefits. He spoke up, "But have you considered how long it would take you to build a planet? How difficult would immigration be? The vast majority of Mutants won't follow you."
"I know. Mutants have family and friends, but it's enough if even a portion of them are willing to come with me."
Tony said, "There are about ten million Mutants worldwide right now, maybe a few more. Most won't want to leave Earth. Perhaps the lower-level ones, those with obvious mutant features like Mystique, would be willing to follow me, but that's enough."
"Out of more than ten million people, at least a hundred thousand would be willing to follow me. With my reputation and strength, plus the fact that some have their identities exposed, have different bodies, and suffer from discrimination; or they simply crave adventure—there will definitely be a hundred thousand."
Tony analyzed that one hundred thousand was his minimum standard. He could absolutely rely on these hundred thousand people to build a Mutant civilization.
A New World with no discrimination, no oppression, where those with physical mutations could walk the streets, have fun, shop for groceries, and converse openly.
"Your method won't work!" Magneto said decisively. "You're only taking the best and strongest. The vast majority left behind will have an even harder life! And ordinary humans will continue to transform into Mutants in the future. Their future won't be improved at all!"
"That's right, Tony," Professor X said in a low voice. "Even if you do this, Erik and I can't go with you. Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters and the Brotherhood of Mutants will never leave either. Your method changes nothing and only benefits you. Moreover, the future of our people who follow you into space can't be guaranteed, because the universe is too dangerous..."
"Don't worry. Selecting people for immigration is just the first step. I have a second step."
Tony snapped his fingers and said coolly, "I'll take those who are willing to go. As for the remaining Mutants, including those ordinary humans with the dormant X-Gene... I'll just eliminate them."
"I will develop a gene-altering drug that can be spread on a massive scale to completely suppress all X-Genes!"
"As long as we eliminate all possibilities of the X-Gene converting from dormant to active, no new Mutants will ever be born. There will be no more tedious racial conflicts on Earth. Everyone will be ordinary humans, along with a few other super-powered individuals from other genetic mutations."
"Mutants will disappear from Earth forever."
