2022-10-19 Author: Great Demon Spirit
[Log]
[Cybertron Year One Major Event]
[Departure: ...]
[The first batch of ancient lifeforms has left the Solar System, heading for the depths of the cosmos.]
[Destination: Centaurus Arm]
...
Two juggernaut-like spaceships sailed through the dark cosmos. Through the windows, one could clearly see pinpricks of light outside, but the view was dominated by endless darkness.
Many people might have felt a sense of novelty when they first entered space, but after a while, it was inevitable they would grow weary of it.
One was a mothership seized from the Chitauri, the other a Kryptonian mothership. Both possessed an extremely high level of technology. After Tony uploaded Ultron to the central hubs of the two spaceships, he didn't need to worry about them much; the rapidly growing Ultron could handle most things.
Aboard the two massive spaceships were nearly one hundred thousand passengers. The vast majority were Transformers, with a smaller portion being Mutants and others. Over a thousand of them were the first batch of Mutant residents to follow Tony into the universe, their hearts filled with both anticipation and trepidation.
Main control room.
"Max, how does it feel? From now on, we're going to conquer the universe."
Tony took a sip from a cup of hot tea and couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. He commented casually, "Why does this tea taste so strange?"
Ultron's voice spoke up: "I utilized cosmic radiation to improve a batch of tea leaves brought from Earth. According to my calculations, you would likely prefer this flavor. This result was derived from studying your daily dietary habits. I compared Longjing, Tieguanyin, Pu'er, scented tea, cinnamon, durian, bitter melon..."
"Shut up, Ultron. Just give me the conclusion."
"Yes, sir. My conclusion is that this flavor is very suitable for you," Ultron stated matter-of-factly.
"...No, this tastes awful. There's no tea aroma left, just bitterness. Have you developed some kind of delusion about the bitter taste of tea?"
"Alright, sir. Then I will immediately stop the tea improvement project..."
"No, keep going. You still have a lot to learn. At the very least, you need to understand why humans like bitter things like tea and coffee, and more importantly, figure out the difference between drinking tea and eating bitter melon."
Tony took another sip. The taste was truly bizarre. The corner of his mouth twitched, and he set the teacup aside. A robot immediately walked over and took it away.
"What a shame, sir," the robot said.
Max tilted his head, glancing at the departing robot before looking back at Tony. He opened his mouth but didn't know what to say.
"I feel like I'm dreaming right now..." Max murmured, a little uncertain. "It feels a bit unreal."
"But you've been ready for a long time, haven't you?" Tony smiled, gazing at the stars outside.
In truth, he could have opened a portal and arrived at the other side of the Milky Way Galaxy directly.
But considering there were nearly a hundred thousand passengers, just using a portal lacked a certain flair... How could that compare to the visual impact of boarding a ship and soaring into the heavens before a captivated audience?
This was a rare moment of indulgence for Tony.
Besides, even traveling by spaceship was astonishingly fast. They could cross the Milky Way Galaxy and reach their destination in less than a day, which would be like a single night's sleep for the passengers.
Tony placed his hand on Max's shoulder. Subconsciously, Max reined in the electrical currents on his shoulder, keeping them stable so as not to harm anyone who touched him.
"You've already reached the limit of Level Four? It won't be long before you become a demigod," Tony said, looking at his old partner and teasing, "Lord Max, the God of Electro?"
"Oh, sir, how could I," Max immediately became embarrassed and fidgeted, then emphasized, "I'd be satisfied just to be called the God of Electro."
"...Is that so."
Tony was momentarily stunned. Seeing how much Max's personality had changed from before, he broke into a laugh.
Max was one of his most trusted people. Usually, Electro was tasked with guarding Donnie's Estate and kept a very low profile. But this didn't mean he was as harmless as he appeared. On the contrary, he was an incredibly powerful individual.
He controlled lightning and magnetic fields and could instantly disperse himself into countless free electrons, only to instantaneously re-form into his humanoid form, making him very difficult to harm.
Max was a powerful being capable of annihilating an entire nation, just one step away from the threshold of becoming a demigod.
It was just a matter of when he would cross it. It could be the next second, or it could be many years from now.
For this trip, he had brought Wanda and Max, leaving Illyana and the others on Earth.
The two juggernaut warships soon arrived at the Centaurus Arm, one of the four major spiral arms of the Milky Way Galaxy, far from the Solar System in the Orion Arm.
A journey of tens of thousands of light-years was a terrifying distance that humans of the past wouldn't have even dared to imagine. But now, under the watchful eyes of a hundred thousand passengers, they crossed it with ease.
It took no more than the time for a night's sleep. Of course, no one was willing to sleep; they all stared wide-eyed at the deep cosmos.
The giant spaceship slowly came to a halt, a full 147.1 million kilometers away from this small star system's sun.
That's right, this distance was precisely the distance between Earth and the Solar System's sun in January.
This star system was the new small star system Tony had selected, intended to be their equivalent of the Solar System.
"What a beautiful yellow sun."
Tony squinted, watching the great ball of fire outside with Wanda. From his perspective, he could already see across the distance of over a hundred million kilometers to every solar flare erupting on its surface.
Flames powerful enough to cause the annihilation of Earth raged and roared, bursting from the sun's surface. Streams of fire, like solidified magma, tried to surge into the cosmos, only to be quickly captured by the sun's gravity and pulled back down.
It was an incredibly active sun, much younger than the one in the Solar System.
Of course, it was also a little more violent. The erupting solar flares were a display of this sun's vigorous activity.
"This is the place, the yellow star I specifically chose."
Tony said, "Kryptonians need the radiation of a yellow sun to become powerful. Other types of suns are either useless or harmful to them. Moreover, this sun's size is very similar to the one in the Solar System, which makes for a very suitable living environment for Mutants."
For the Transformers, to be honest, their environmental requirements weren't that strict, but the same couldn't be said for other Earthlings.
This small star system was the location Tony had his eye on. It had twelve planets, three of which had asteroid belts.
"Then where will we live? Are we going to directly modify the third planet? Create a new Earth?" Wanda looked at the sun, somewhat excited, yet also a little panicked by the unknown.
Tony had at least been to the depths of the universe, but Wanda had never left Earth before. This had nothing to do with power; it was purely nervousness in the face of the unknown.
"No, the third planet is too far from the sun. If we were to modify that planet, we would have to reset its orbit. We'll build a new planet, right between the second and third planets."
Tony stroked his chin, pondering.
