Chapter 531

Chapter 518: Thanos, Vormir

"Where is this place!!"

"An unfamiliar galaxy."

"Let me use the pulsar to get a lock… Dammit, it's actually the Milky Way Galaxy! How many hundreds of millions of light-years did we just cross?!"

"The Scutum–Centaurus Arm of the Milky Way Galaxy, an unremarkable star system."

The many unruly inhabitants of Nowhere were starting to panic, frantically questioning one another.

This was too terrifying. One second I was having a drink, and the next, I'm in a strange galaxy hundreds of millions of light-years away?

What did I ever do to deserve this?

Just then, an incomparably majestic voice entered the ears of every living being: "The place you are in is the Cybertron System. From this moment on, Nowhere will cease to exist. Warworld will become your new stronghold."

"Bullshit, did I agree to that?"

*Splat!*

The one who said this was instantly blasted into a pulp by an invisible force, splattering everywhere.

"Scum, welcome to my world!" The voice was filled with malice. Every single person from Nowhere felt as if they were being stared at by a pair of cold, sharp eyes, a chill running down their spines.

"I am Tony, the master of the Cybertron System."

"I don't care about your checkered pasts. Now that you're on my turf, you will follow my rules. Otherwise, you die."

"Nowhere will be destroyed by me. All of you will have a new beginning on Warworld and continue doing what you do."

Tony's aura slowly faded, and that malicious gaze gradually disappeared.

At this moment, someone realized. Warworld... isn't that Mongul's planet?! That notoriously mobile fighting arena?

"Tony? So it's him..." Someone collapsed onto the ground, their body turning ice-cold, filled with the fear of having just survived a close brush with death.

"It seems Mongul was killed by Tony. Tsk, tsk, a fierce man who ran rampant across the universe for so many years ran into someone even fiercer."

"We'd better behave. Too many powerhouses have died at Tony's hands. I don't want to be the next." Someone tried to count on their fingers, found they couldn't count them all, and sighed.

Just as the entirety of Nowhere quieted down, it suddenly trembled. Then, a powerful force spread out, and Nowhere began to collapse piece by piece.

Its indestructible bones, hollowed out of marrow and other substances, crumbled bit by bit. The massive skull rapidly began to disintegrate, turning into countless fine particles of matter.

The million inhabitants of Nowhere were directly pulled away by Tony. Countless portals appeared, swallowing them one by one and throwing them onto Warworld.

Nowhere itself completely vanished, collected by Tony as research material for his reserves.

Hmm, creating a brand-new system of divine power required many divine samples, and this Celestial skull was very suitable.

Those unruly mercenaries and bounty hunters were all transferred to Warworld. There, Ultron monitored everything, capable of killing any troublemaking idiot at a moment's notice.

"Yondu, what do we do? We finally found a trace of the Guardians of the Galaxy, and now it looks like we're going to lose them again," a member of the Ravagers said dejectedly.

The other Ravagers were also dispirited.

What a fucking disaster. How could such a huge change happen over a simple drink?

As their chieftain, Yondu let out a whistle, causing the small arrow resting in his hand to float up as he remained vigilant against any potential crisis.

"They will definitely come. I know Quill's personality. He's a bastard, just like me. He'll definitely come to Warworld to make money. A new central stronghold means countless opportunities. Tony made a huge move; that hyena Quill would never pass this up."

Yondu touched the shark-fin-like ornament on his head, straightened his collar, and followed the helpful directions provided by Ultron, taking the lead as he walked into the interior of Warworld.

The small arrow, glowing with a red light, floated beside Yondu, looking harmless.

But the other Ravagers' eyelids twitched wildly, their expressions filled with dread.

That small arrow was called the Yaka Arrow. It hailed from the Centaurus system and was extremely sensitive to sound. It was the weapon and attack method that Yondu relied on to make his name. Its supersonic speed and extreme penetrating power made it a deadly weapon.

Before you could even react, a red light would flash, and you'd already be dead.

Yondu and his tribesmen all possessed the ability to control the Yaka Arrow with sound.

The other Ravagers hurriedly followed their boss's footsteps, their eyes also revealing a hint of excitement and anticipation. Maybe they could also make a fortune?

Oh, and they still had to get revenge on the damned Guardians of the Galaxy.

They had once managed to grab the Power Stone, only to have it intercepted by Star-Lord Quill and the others, and it eventually ended up in the hands of Accuser Ronan.

Then, while Ronan was showing off on Xandar, Tony, wearing three Infinity Stones, suddenly appeared and killed him with a single punch, snatching the Power Stone.

Truly tragic.

...

Vormir, the location of the Soul Stone.

A colossal spaceship descended upon this place, with countless smaller vessels constantly moving in and out of the giant craft.

Thanos, along with his army, had arrived on this insignificant planet.

"Vormir, the abode of the Soul Stone..."

Thanos's mighty, purple body stepped out of the spaceship. His eyes, filled with tyranny and an indescribable ferocity, swept over his surroundings.

The natives of Vormir, a group of red lizard creatures, sensed the arrival of Thanos and his entourage. Thinking there was energy to consume, they scurried over, happily opening their mouths.

But a larger number of Outriders were released. These wolf-like bio-weapons with two legs and four arms swarmed out, cruelly hunting down the local red lizards.

Every bite could easily tear a red lizard in two.

A slaughter was underway.

Thanos's eyes showed no emotion. He grabbed his petite adopted daughter, Nebula, and sneered, "The Soul Stone is here?"

"Yes, this is the information I got from Gamora..." Nebula said with difficulty, her tone filled with fear.

"You'd better pray that what you said is true. You know the consequences of deceiving me." Thanos grinned cruelly. With a flick of his hand, he tossed Nebula aside. The immense force sent Nebula smashing into the ground, shattering nearly half of her semi-mechanical body.

Behind Thanos, the members of the Black Order stood silently, watching Nebula with cold sneers, the madness in their eyes no less than that of Thanos.

"Five of the six Infinity Stones have been shattered. Only the Soul Stone remains intact."

Thanos turned his head, muttering to the empty air.

"What, you're saying you'll help me? How rare. I will get it and do what you desire."

Thanos spoke to the air.

The expressions of the Black Order members changed, and they hurriedly lowered their heads, not daring to respond.

They had known for a long time that their master had a strange habit of talking to the air. Interjecting meant death.
