Chapter 537: The Thirteen Primes Awaken
The yellow sun shone with a soft luster, its occasional solar flares displaying its activity to all.
Tony strode out of the laboratory and spread his arms, basking in the warmth of the sunlight. Although he didn't need sunlight, nor would it make him any stronger, as an Earthling, he naturally held a great affection for the sun.
The five corpses of Thanos had already been taken away by Shockwave. The Academy of Sciences was very interested in this Eternal Titan; perhaps they could reverse-engineer some things about the Celestials, which might prove useful for the Artificial Celestial project.
"Artificial Celestials, Doomsday, divine power, mystic energy… There are so many things to research. However, apart from Doomsday, the other three share some common elements. As long as a breakthrough is made in any one of these barriers, it will trigger a chain reaction."
Tony strolled across the planet Cybertron. Countless kilometer-tall buildings had shot up from the ground, and a few ten-kilometer-tall structures stood as exceptionally magnificent and immense.
Suddenly, his expression shifted slightly. He quickened his pace, heading toward a vast, ten-kilometer-class building complex from which a powerful aura had begun to awaken.
As if on signal, twelve other auras rapidly began to rise. In a haze, pairs of eyes opened one after another, surveying this unfamiliar world.
Tony made his way to the very depths, where thirteen figures of varying sizes stood tall.
The Thirteen Primes. After years of slumber, today, they had finally awakened.
A powerful aura erupted as the auras of thirteen Demigods soared into the sky, causing the ground to tremble slightly. Countless people abruptly looked up, staring in astonishment toward Cybertron's main planet.
"Another thirteen Demigods..." someone groaned, rendered utterly speechless. They tried to count on their fingers, only to find it impossible to tally how many powerhouses Cybertron still had hidden away. It was an absolutely terrifying number. The power Cybertron possessed was already enough to challenge any ancient faction in the universe.
"Thanos was so damn unlucky. He basically came here to die," someone else remarked, smacking their lips and gloating.
In a region several light-years away from the Cybertron system, Parallax cautiously concealed itself, observing Cybertron with cold indifference. The arrival of the thirteen new auras made its already unsightly insectoid face even more malevolent. It glared resentfully, gnashed its teeth, and had no choice but to remain in hiding.
It had come for Hal Jordan, but unfortunately, there were too many powerhouses on Cybertron, leaving it too afraid to make a rash move.
Tony floated in the air, looking down at the thirteen minds projecting a sense of familiarity toward him, a wide smile spreading across his face.
"I have prepared a planet for each of you to serve as your stronghold. Each planet will be named after you."
Tony cut straight to the chase, extending his hands to construct a model of the Cybertronian system.
While the Primes had been slumbering, Tony had actually been communicating with them through his consciousness; it was only today that they had truly awakened.
"Liege Maximo, you who are best at combat, will guard the first planet. You will also bear the responsibility of guarding Thanos. Lock him on the first planet."
"Sai Tianjiao, you who are skilled in forging divine artifacts, will defend the second planet."
"Alpha Trion, with your vast knowledge, you will guard the fourth planet and simultaneously serve as the director of the Iacon Hall of Records."
"Quintus Prime, you who are as steadfast as the earth, will guard the fifth planet."
"Vector Prime, as a Combiner, you will guard the sixth planet."
"Nexus Prime, you who revere order, will guard the seventh planet."
"Alchemist Prime, you who possess the abilities of transformation and disguise, will guard the eighth planet."
"Micronus Prime, as a Beast Transformer, you will guard the ninth planet."
"Solus Prime, you who love life and creation, will guard the tenth planet."
"The Thirteenth Prime, you who are calm and wise, will guard the eleventh planet."
"Liege Maximo, you who are eloquent and brilliant, will guard the twelfth planet."
"Prima, you who were the first to awaken, with your resolute personality, will guard the outermost thirteenth planet."
Tony looked down upon the powerful beings he had personally created, overflowing with heartfelt joy. From left to right, he rapidly assigned their various tasks.
However… it seemed he had missed something?
Tony fell into deep thought.
The twelve Primes looked at each other, also sinking into contemplation.
And then…
Amalgamous Prime grew furious. He suddenly jumped, leaping three feet into the air, and roared, "It's me! You forgot me!!!"
Tony looked down. The other Primes, coming to a realization, also lowered their heads to look at the puppy-sized body of Amalgamous Prime, their expressions teasing.
Amalgamous Prime had the appearance of a small silver figure, the patterns on his shell perfectly orderly and possessing a great aesthetic beauty. But this still couldn't change the reality that he was only thirty centimeters tall.
Amalgamous Prime became even angrier, hopping desperately on the spot and shouting, "This system has thirteen planets! Twelve have been given away, so give the last one, Cybertron, to me to guard! Trust me, don't let my small size fool you, I can take on all thir—twelve of you!"
Amalgamous Prime subconsciously glanced at Tony, then quickly looked away and declared solemnly.
"Yes, yes, you're absolutely right, buddy… Hey, don't move around so much. I'm afraid I might accidentally step on you," Liege Maximo let out a strange, booming laugh.
Liege Maximo's body was pitch-black, an unsettling sight, as if he were the physical manifestation of the other twelve Primes' dark sides.
In fact, this "The Fallen," who in the original stories betrayed Primus for Unicron, was the dark side of the leader, Prima.
Tony pondered for a moment, then slowly nodded. He flew down and reached out to pick up Amalgamous Prime—just like holding a small dog.
As Amalgamous Prime stared blankly, Tony said with a serious expression, "Well then, Amalgamous Prime, hmm... you have the magnificent physique of a dog, so I've decided that you will... uh, you will be in charge of watching over Wangcai and Cosmo! The three of you will get along just fine!"
Amalgamous Prime: "???"
Tony shook his head with a smile and released his grip, watching Amalgamous Prime land steadily on the ground.
Amalgamous Prime, the ancestor of all miniature Transformers. His height was definitely a drawback, stripping him of any intimidating presence at first glance... but it was a good match for the two high-IQ dogs Tony was raising.
Cosmo was a master of telepathy, and Krypto was a high-level Kryptonian dog with ferocious combat power, even stronger than Hant. Now, with the addition of Amalgamous Prime... well, things would be very lively.
Amalgamous Prime hopped on the spot, fuming with rage.
At Tony's command, the thirteen powerful figures took to the sky. Amidst the awe of countless onlookers, they departed for their respective planets.
Among them, Liege Maximo had the heaviest task. He was responsible for guarding the mad dog Thanos, who was imprisoned on the first planet. However, the malicious and volatile Liege Maximo was, at least in terms of personality, no less of a handful than Thanos.
"The next step is to locate a universe to serve as the Grand Universe Testing Ground. It would be best to find one on the brink of apocalypse; otherwise, it would be troublesome to be noticed by some cosmic being. Huh? Thor is here?"
Tony raised an eyebrow. The sensory power of a Demigod spread out rapidly, causing an instantaneous storm in the microscopic world, but it quickly returned to calm.
Out in the universe, a spaceship was rapidly approaching the Cybertron system. It was just that their condition... was extremely dire.
