Chapter 592

Chapter 579: Capturing Parallax

Tony grinned savagely, piloting the chair as he lunged forward fearlessly. With a flash of white light, he instantly appeared above Parallax, smashing down fiercely like a small mountain.

An astonishing energy wave erupted, unleashing its full force on Parallax. The creature's long, narrow body suddenly bent downward, slammed by the immense power as it let out a piercing shriek.

Parallax twitched its tail, let out a shrill cry, and whipped it viciously at Tony, but an invisible barrier instantly appeared, easily blocking the attack.

Tony slightly raised his hand and flicked a finger. The entire Mobius Chair erupted in a brilliant radiance, and dozens of terrifying energy waves roared out, blasting toward Parallax.

As a powerful artifact capable of deifying mortals, the Mobius Chair possessed immense destructive power. But in the hands of Tony, who wielded the Allspark, it could be perfectly controlled, pushed into overload to unleash its full energy.

A creation from the ruler of the vast Anti-Matter Universe, it could only display its full power in Tony's hands.

This was because the chair had its own consciousness and was very selfish. An ordinary person sitting on it would become its controlled slave, and if things went wrong, the chair would decisively choose to flee. But in Tony's hands, as his seat, it had no choice but to go all out, frantically squeezing out every last bit of energy from every circuit and every piece of material. If it didn't, Tony would surely erase its consciousness.

Because Tony would be more than happy to use the chair as a lifeless object rather than a living one.

"You can't escape!"

Tony grinned savagely, his eyes shining as he watched Parallax struggle painfully amidst the energy.

Beams of white light shot out, each one powerful enough to shatter a planet. Carrying immense might, they completely surrounded Parallax, bombarding its body one after another.

The golden-yellow form was enveloped by the white light. Only occasionally, through the cracks in the explosions, could a faint glimmer of gold be glimpsed.

The agonizing screams were incessant.

"Come back to Cybertron with me obediently, and I'll give you limited freedom. Otherwise, you die!" Tony said in a cold voice.

An immense power of Fear surged as a dense Yellow Fear spread out, infecting everything around it.

Parallax roared in fury. Enduring the intense pain, it shot Tony a hateful glare, then madly pushed through the attacks and lunged toward Hal.

"Hal, merge with me, and you can slaughter every enemy that stands in our way! No one will be able to stop you! Don't you want power? I can give it to you!"

Parallax's voice echoed in Hal's mind.

A brilliant flash of light suddenly appeared, engulfing the expressionless Hal.

Hal looked at Parallax, the corner of his mouth curling into a mocking smile. "When we meet on Cybertron, your power will be mine as well... Goodbye."

The portal then consumed Hal, teleporting him back to Cybertron.

Parallax let out a furious howl. The powerful sound waves spread out, silent in the vacuum of space, yet they contained a terrifying destructive force.

"You're not Black Bolt. Screaming a hundred times won't do you any good."

Tony sneered, assessing Parallax's tattered body.

Black Bolt's special sound waves could travel through a vacuum. And considering the Skrulls and the Kree were about to beat each other's brains out, the Inhumans would definitely not stay quiet. It was only a matter of time before they joined the war to gang up on the Kree.

At that time, the entire universe would witness the terror of Black Bolt. His low profile over the past many years did not mean he was timid or cowardly.

"Tell me, what do you want from me?" Parallax stared at Tony with venomous eyes, its huge golden pupils reflecting his figure. "Your power far surpasses mine. What more could you want from me?"

"Nothing much. I just think Cybertron would be livelier with one more bug, and you're a perfect fit," Tony said.

On Cybertron, there were currently two dogs and a duck named Howard the Duck who was always stirring up trouble. Adding one more bug to the mix wouldn't be a big deal.

It wasn't just Parallax; the other six Lantern Entities were also on Tony's hunting list, including Ion from Oa and the Butcher from Atrocitus's side.

"You will pay the price," Parallax said venomously.

An immense power of Fear erupted, surging entirely toward Tony. At the same time, a dense feeling of fear welled up in Tony's own mind.

"You won't get the chance to make me pay."

Tony sneered, suppressing the inexplicable fear in his heart. He then piloted the Mobius Chair, lunging viciously forward and knocking Parallax away, causing its ruined body to shatter even further.

One after another, powerful energy waves formed an indestructible barrier, locking Parallax down layer by layer and slicing off pieces of its body bit by bit, as if carving meat.

The disintegrating parts of its body turned into wisps of yellow energy that were about to dissipate, but Tony personally locked them down and crushed them bit by bit.

Manifested emotional energy was still just energy, and crushing its remnants was all too simple for Tony.

Parallax's screams grew fainter and fainter, but Tony's face remained cold, showing no intention of stopping.

Gradually, Parallax couldn't keep up the act any longer.

"Enough, enough! I surrender! I'll go back to Cybertron with you!!" Parallax's voice rang in Tony's mind.

"If you had chosen to come with me earlier, I would have kept my promise. But now, I've changed my mind."

The corner of Tony's mouth twitched, and he abruptly increased the power of the energy waves, blasting away nearly half of Parallax's already ruined body. Immediately after, Tony dragged the energy prison, opened a portal, and returned to Cybertron.

Parallax's remaining body transformed into an even smaller form, barely clinging to life.

Before Tony, Parallax had no room to resist. The moment it appeared out of greed, its fate was sealed.

On Cybertron, Hal Jordan was waiting patiently.

In the air, a prison made of white light, tightly containing Parallax, suddenly appeared before Hal.

Tony sat on his chair, looking at him calmly. "Hal, I will find a way to control the emotion of fear from this thing. I will give you a Yellow Lantern Ring, and you will gain power—power strong enough to protect Carol."

Hal's face was filled with excitement, and a blush crept over his usually deadpan expression. He nodded excitedly. "Thank you."

Tony waved his hand and sent the fear entity directly to the Academy of Sciences. There, several demigods serving as guards would keep Parallax under strict watch.

Parallax would be kept alive as research material until its very last drop of value was squeezed out.

"All you have to do is wait, Hal. Wait for the inevitable result."

Tony smiled faintly, then turned. "The Yellow Lantern problem is solved. Now, it's time to meddle with the Green Lanterns..."
