600 Cataclysm of Destruction
2022-10-19 Author: Great Demon Spirit
"Is this his divine name?"
"That must be it, but I've never heard of this name... What is Cybertron?"
"Watch your words. Even if you detest him, you should at least show some respect."
"Indeed, the respect due to him should remain, at least until he dies."
"Once he enters the Sphere of the Gods, I'll punch him to death, and all problems will be solved."
"Then you better be quick. Many Realms would be very happy to recruit him. Recruiting an already established God is definitely more cost-effective than personally cultivating one."
The Deities exchanged words, their tones either cold or cruel.
But Tony's name was also etched into their minds. They secretly chewed on the unfamiliar title "God of Cybertron," resolved that after the Speed Force calmed down, they would dispatch Clones to journey through the Multiverse, if only to figure out what "Cybertron" actually was.
Then, that majestic and blood-soaked voice came again.
"You may call me by my name, or by my divine name. Besides the God of Cybertron, I have many more divine names."
"I am the God of Technology."
"I am the Machine Emperor."
"I am also the Godslayer."
"As you wish."
After speaking, the Aura receded back into the Multiverse, leaving behind a bewildered group of Gods staring at each other.
After a long while, someone stroked their chin and managed to utter, "This is allowed? Aren't divine names related to a God's divine origin? A Singular God only has one legitimate divine name, how does he have so many?"
"Unless he truly wields many kinds of Power..."
The many Gods looked at each other, speechless. After a long time, a few dispersed, simply returning to their respective Realms. Most still quietly waited for the Speed Force Wall to calm down, making it easier for them to sneak in.
After the Powerhouse from The Endless also departed expressionlessly, a massive Demon finally arrived at the edge of the Speed Force Wall, seething with Rage, its six blood-red eyes glaring menacingly.
"Damn you, little brat, don't think I'll let you off!" Trigon roared.
The enmity between him and Tony was significant. His favored daughter, Raven, who was originally hoped to become his foremost warrior, had also been abducted by Tony.
Trigon had countless reasons to kill Tony. If it weren't for the sudden deployment of The Endless, which paralyzed him with fear, he would have already stormed their doors.
Now, of all things, Tony had successfully undergone Ascension, becoming a Singular God, on par with him in essence.
This made Trigon so furious he nearly vomited blood.
"Trigon's here."
"He looks very angry. Let's keep our distance from him."
Many Deities subtly moved aside, clearing a large space, waiting for an opportunity.
So what if he's a New God? Noble status and infinite Potential don't mean his Combat Power is truly invincible. Kill the New God quickly before he fully grows, seize his secrets, and then vanish.
As they waited, a massive Light Construct suddenly appeared, and a powerful Portal capable of piercing the Speed Force Wall slowly opened. This sudden change made many Beings instinctively pause.
"Is this... a Boom Tube? Is the New God going to enter the Sphere of the Gods now?" Someone excitedly swayed, as if pumped with adrenaline.
Many more Deities were also incredibly excited, eyes wide with anticipation.
The Portal formed and stabilized, and a pitch-black figure stepped out, immediately letting loose a roar filled with savagery and Killing Intent.
Its body covered in Bone Spurs and viscous keratin, it trembled all over the moment it stepped into the Sphere of the Gods, and began to undergo Evolution under the gaze of the many Deities...
"Doomsday?!" Someone spoke hoarsely.
Before the words even finished, more Doomsdays crossed the Portal, violently bursting out.
Their numbers were endless. One thousand, ten thousand, a hundred thousand, a million, a hundred million, a billion, ten billion... countless.
"Holy crap..."
The many Gods' eyes widened into perfect circles, almost bulging out, as they stared at the numerous, furiously enraged Doomsdays of various types, momentarily speechless.
Roar! Roar! Roar!
Roars echoed as countless Monsters, hidden long ago by Tony using the Plot Gem, were crammed into the Sphere of the Gods, a form of retaliation against these restless Beings.
"Damn him!! I'll kill him!!!"
"I've seen this scene somewhere before... I remember now, that's how the Ancient Doomsday entered the Sphere of the Gods! How many small and medium-sized Realms has it plagued during this time?!"
"Th-th-this... the numbers are too high!!"
The Gods were a mix of shock and fury, cursing Tony's cruelty and shamelessness, their faces grim as they watched the swarming, roaring Monsters.
Some of the Doomsdays exuded an Aura that actually made their hearts pound in alarm.
When the first Doomsday charged at a Deity, an incredibly fierce war erupted. The Doomsdays, with their super-strong Evolution abilities, swarmed into the Sphere of the Gods, bringing immense disaster upon these Beings.
It was foreseeable that countless Deities would suffer greatly, forced to grudgingly encircle and exterminate the Doomsdays. These billions of Doomsdays were destined not to be completely wiped out; there would always be clever, cunning, and powerful individuals who would survive, seeking opportunities in the boundless Sphere of the Gods to ambush and slay Deities or their Favored Ones.
This was the Cataclysm of Destruction, Tony's grand gift to them.
...
In the Multiverse, Tony raised his arms, closing the Boom Tube and sending off the last Doomsday.
The violently increasing Power began to erupt. The divine essence projected by the Deity even surpassed the limits of what the Nirvana Universe could encompass.
The last wisp of the Light of Singularity was drawn back into Tony's body. All his Power and Energy began to gather, undergoing a qualitative change, forming one mass after another, transforming into the most crucial Core.
This source was something unique to a Singular God, a conglomerate of all rules, Willpower, Power, and Information Aggregate. It could be called many things: in the myths and legends and fictional novels of various Universes, it was referred to as divinity, Golden Core, Cosmo...
Essentially, all of them are the Singular God's 'The Source'.
"This is my divine source..."
Tony felt the Core within him, like a rotating Black Hole, slowly taking shape, and fell into contemplation.
This "The Source" is actually mentioned quite frequently in the DC Universe. Many fierce divine wars throughout history have been Gods battling over it.
Once this Power becomes an Energy source that only specific Singular Gods can control and use, it will be an incredibly terrifying driving Core.
Moreover, the Core can also be shattered.
Take Darkseid, for example. The one currently stationed on Apokolips is his main body, but the main body doesn't mean it's his complete form.
Many years ago, Darkseid was attacked by the Darkwalkers. His divinity was split apart by a single blow, scattering into pieces. Most of his Power reformed into the main body stationed on Apokolips, while a smaller portion dispersed throughout the Multiverse, becoming numerous Clones.
Therefore, a complete Darkseid would be much stronger, at least stronger than the main body on Apokolips.
At this moment, Tony stood tall upon the Mother Box Barrier, Electricity flashing and thunder rumbling around him, wind and clouds changing. Countless Space-Time flowed rapidly around him, and wild Blood Realm Energy roared and boiled.
Mountains of corpses and seas of blood paved the way for Tony's magnificence, and the surging gore witnessed the birth of a New God.
The remaining individuals hid, fearfully watching the indifferent Tony, trembling slightly, their faces tear-streaked as they saw their vastly diminished ranks.
Dead. All dead.
All swallowed whole by this Demon! They served as supplements for this Demon to clear its challenge, completely consumed!
This was no rookie; this was clearly a Giant Beast waiting for them to walk into its trap!
