Chapter 635: Infinity Megatron
On Cybertron, Tony was inspecting the newly awakened Megatron's chassis condition.
"Excellent, the Power Stone fragments have been perfectly embedded into your body."
Tony observed Megatron's changing appearance and nodded.
His dark silver chassis now sported a purple sheen, slowly twinkling with the passage of time, exuding magnificent colors.
On one of Megatron's finger bones, a purple gem was quietly embedded. Around the gem, it had directly fused with Megatron's metallic body tissue.
Each time Megatron used the Power Stone's strength, this purple stone would faintly glow. Its luster was slightly dim, likely because all its power was being drawn and controlled by Megatron.
This is a good start.
"You've passed the first hurdle. My calculations were correct; the Power Stone is the most compatible with you, and it will best increase your survival rate."
Tony tapped the purple crystal gem, his reflection appearing on its surface. He gazed at this purple gem, which resembled a magnified version of itself by dozens of times, lost in thought.
A very interesting form of existence.
During this period, scientists from the Science Academy successively integrated Power Stone fragments into Megatron's body, allowing him to gradually absorb and seize the Power Stone's power source — this was an agonizing process. Megatron spent a year teetering on the brink of life and death pain every single day.
Whenever he adapted to one fragment, new fragments would immediately be transplanted.
In Tony's eyes, each Infinity Stone was a crystallized aggregation of a singular power's rules; the stone itself was the rule, forcefully gathering its associated power for the user.
When the Power Stone shattered, the fragments still retained their 'key' function, acting as keys to unlock singular power attributes.
And now, the Power Stone, in the form of a part of Megatron's body, has been repaired and reborn.
To put it simply, the current gem is an organ of Megatron's body, no different from eyes, vocalizers, or transformation gears; all are constrained by the Allspark.
Purple light faintly glowed. Megatron looked down at his chassis, which occasionally shimmered with a subtle purple luster, displaying dreamlike colors.
He raised his left hand, clenched his fist, and gazed at the purple gem. With a thought, a surge of pure power suddenly erupted. The purple gem abruptly flared, and a purple aura burst forth from Megatron's entire surface. Intense power fluctuations spread, triggering a hurricane.
Tony waved a hand, and the hurricane vanished. His broad palm casually touched Megatron, and the purple gem instantly dimmed, its aura retracting, as the volatile power abruptly disappeared.
"You've just awakened. First, adapt to your newly changed body, and then consider mastering this additional power."
Tony withdrew his hand, smiling faintly, as if nothing had happened.
Honestly, Tony himself was somewhat astonished to see Megatron so perfectly devour the Power Stone.
He believed Megatron would succeed, but never expected such perfection.
It was absolute perfection!
The magnificent Power Stone, an artifact that had incited countless brutal conflicts in the Main Universe, had now finally undergone transformation from a mere artifact into an organ of Megatron's body.
"This is the power of a Demigod..." Megatron numbly felt the unending surge of immense power within him, a power he had always craved.
Tony said, "This is what you deserve."
From this moment on, Cybertron gained another Demigod, one of extraordinary significance – a peculiar being capable of devouring Infinity Stones.
Tony glanced at Megatron's chest. Through layers of chassis, the fiercely burning Allspark within was laid bare under Tony's gaze. A powerful Allspark, tainted with the Aura of the One-Above-All, healthy, vibrant, and luminous – it seemed not at all surprising that mere Power Stone fragments could be controlled by such an Allspark.
A complete Power Stone, at its peak, was merely a Level Seven Multiversal Artifact.
After inspections by the Science Academy personnel, Megatron's condition was surprisingly good.
"In a month or two, we'll immediately transplant the Mind Stone. You possess strong Willpower, perfectly capable of resisting Mind Stone fragments," Tony instructed.
Megatron replied, "It won't take that long. I can proceed to the next step in a week at most."
"A week isn't enough for you to perfectly master the surging purple power. Rushing it will only ruin everything."
"Understood."
Megatron nodded and departed impatiently.
"I hope he truly reaches the standard I anticipate... but Nemesis is also an unknown trouble."
Watching Megatron's receding figure, Tony pondered.
There's still no news regarding the whereabouts of the Ego Stone and the Rhythm Gem. What's certain is that neither of them is in the Main Universe. Finding two hidden Infinity Stones within the vast Multiverse is a difficulty that practically breaks through the atmosphere.
The shattering Plot Gem is still sealed by Tony, quietly awaiting its fate's end.
If Megatron truly reaches that day and welcomes an unimaginable glorious future, Tony will not be stingy with the artifacts in his hands. He would unhesitatingly give the Plot Gem and other such things to Megatron.
But whether Megatron can reach that step remains to be seen.
Nemesis, that capricious old woman, is also a big problem. No one knows how she would view a life form like Megatron, who uses Infinity Stones as nourishment.
If they were to fight...
Tony had an immense headache. Nemesis was a Tier Nine Singular God; confronting such a Monster was simply a Nightmare.
When almost everyone had left, Soundwave quietly approached, images and sounds projected onto his face, showing the results of Earth's Civil War and the news of the Illuminati's formation.
"Only a few people died? This level of Civil War is truly too mild... If Steve hadn't died, I'm afraid even more people would have died pointlessly. And that infuriating organization, the Illuminati... I hope there are more intelligent members in the Justice League who won't be led astray."
Tony's mouth twitched. He couldn't bear to look directly when he thought of the Illuminati's brainless 'achievements' one after another.
Their intentions were always good, but their methods were always unbelievably foolish. It was as if a group of intelligent people gathered together and all became stupid.
Shaking his head, Tony donned a black robe, stepped out of the laboratory, and soared a hundred thousand meters high, gazing down at the bustling Earth.
The entire prosperous planet lay beneath Tony's feet; this was his planet.
In the sky, scattered points of light, slightly vast. The Ancient One and the others were diligently transporting stars from the Outside World back into the Pocket Universe.
"Everything will be fine," Tony said with a smile.
Suddenly, he looked up at the Pocket Universe Barrier; a familiar-looking spaceship was rapidly flying towards it.
