Chapter 749

Chapter 733: Prime Universe

White light enveloped everything, instantly engulfing Superboy-Prime at its center. The next instant, he vanished from his spot.

Many astonished gazes turned towards the scene, everyone staring in disbelief.

That madman-like enemy… vanished?

"Looks like we won't need to act," Sayd said indifferently.

Ganthet remained silent, solemnly watching the slowly dissipating white light without a word.

"Hmph, what a terrifying fellow. Next time, I'll beat him to a pulp and make him taste true pain."

The battered Megatron shoved his nearly dislodged eyeball back into its socket, causing a lot of sparks. He glared at the empty space, huffing with anger.

This was the first time he had been beaten so badly. His powerful machine, his pride and joy, was now riddled with holes and utterly ruined.

"There will be a chance. Even if he can't return to the Prime Universe, he won't die easily. Sooner or later, the day will come when we meet again."

Optimus Prime gazed for a while, then said lightly.

...

Cybertron.

"Abnormal ripples detected in the Speed Force! Dimensional jumping speed has increased unprecedentedly!"

"The Universe Bridge structure is unstable! Speed Force consumption rate has risen by 173% and is still rapidly increasing!"

"We've lost him… It seems some unknown barrier has blocked the Universe Bridge's energy. We've lost Superboy-Prime's coordinate…"

The scientists of the Academy of Sciences looked at each other, shaking their heads helplessly. After working for so long, they still hadn't succeeded.

But at least it proved that the Universe Bridge could operate, making cross-universe transmission possible.

"What a pity, I wanted to see the Prime Universe. A world without superpowered beings… must be very safe and happy, right?" Shuri whispered.

"Not being able to do it now doesn't mean we won't be able to do it in the future. We will always get the best opportunity. Time is on our side," Wheeljack said.

Tony, who had returned to the main universe, suddenly looked up and raised an eyebrow. He watched the fluctuations disappearing into the depths of the Multiverse and pondered for a moment, not overly tracking that light's trace.

For now, the Prime Universe's value wasn't that great. Even if it hid secrets of the Multiverse, it wasn't of much use to Tony at present, though it might be useful in the future.

"Lucky guy, you'd better stay in the Prime Universe and never come back for the rest of your life." Tony shook his head, sincerely wishing that Superboy-Prime, that scumbag, would rot away in the Prime Universe.

This time, it worked out well; they had exiled Superboy-Prime in a hurry before he could commit any earth-shattering foolishness.

...

In the vast Multiverse, innumerable large and small universes were floating. An endless Blood Realm, like a vast ocean, embraced countless universes like swimming fish.

A hidden light passed through a dimension, carrying the life form within it towards an unknown direction, transcending the boundaries of time and space, easily breaking through the blockades between different dimensions, leading to the most mysterious point in the entire Multiverse.

The intertwining of information aggregates became increasingly astonishing. Information accumulated over countless years, and matter remaining from innumerable Multiversal destructions and reboots, piled up into an invisible yet tangible and terrifying chasm, blocking all external beings.

The Universe Bridge's transmission light, tracing Superboy-Prime's past, following the Speed Force's instinctive guidance towards Superboy-Prime, attempted to cross this terrifying chasm, but ultimately failed and was forcibly cut off.

The light scattered with a bang, hitting the ground. Superboy-Prime, enveloped in the light, crashed down miserably, creating a large pit.

Wisps of smoke rose, carrying a strong burnt smell. A hand like reinforced concrete stretched out from the pit, fiercely grasping the soil. Superboy-Prime's disheveled figure slowly crawled out, charred black, naked, and still smoking.

"Sir, are you an alien?" a reporter hurriedly ran over, shoving a microphone into Superboy-Prime's mouth.

Superboy-Prime's eyelids twitched wildly, his eyes bloodshot and veined. His ferocious face was filled with immense rage and resentment. A terrifying aura, like that of a giant beast, erupted, stirring up a gale.

*I actually got played?*
*Exiled again???*
*How many damn times has this been???*

The rage in Superboy-Prime's heart could almost burn down the entire universe.

"Sir, you're not really an alien, are you?" After being knocked down, the reporter once again shoved the microphone into Superboy-Prime's mouth.

Superboy-Prime exploded.

How could his explosive temper tolerate being provoked repeatedly by a mortal!

"You…!" Superboy-Prime sneered, his heart filled with wrath, his killing intent skyrocketing. The energy particles within his body began to gather, almost breaking out to blast the idiot in front of him into dust.

"Sir, you look just like a character from a comic! The symbol on your chest is exactly like Superboy-Prime! Are you filming a movie? Or is it a secret experiment by the government? Either way, you smashed my house, and you're not leaving today!"

The reporter shivered, mustering his courage, and shoved the microphone into Superboy-Prime's mouth a third time, his heart pounding as he desperately tried to embolden himself.

*He wouldn't kill anyone, would he? This is a society of laws, he wouldn't kill, would he?*

Superboy-Prime paused, his not-so-nimble brain slowly whirred. He raised his thick arm, his pincer-like hand grabbing the reporter's face, and asked with suppressed urgency, "Where is this?"

The reporter was stunned for a moment, feeling the power in the other's hand, and immediately stammered, "Earth…"

"I asked you WHICH Earth!" Superboy-Prime roared, suppressing his murderous bloodlust.

That roar directly caused a hurricane, blowing the reporter's entire body into the air. If Superboy-Prime hadn't held his face in a death grip, he would have flown away long ago.

The reporter was scared witless, having no idea where his meal ticket had gone.

"Useless!" Superboy-Prime's face was grim, a surge of urgency in his heart. He threw the reporter to the ground, took flight, and rushed towards the nearest city.

Using his super speed, Superboy-Prime swiftly grabbed a stack of comic books and began frantically flipping through them.

The more he flipped, the slower his movements became. Finally, he almost burst into tears.

"I'm back!!! This is the Prime Universe!!!"

Superboy-Prime's eyes were red, filled with madness.

He had wandered through the Multiverse, killing furiously, and now he had finally returned to his homeland.

Though he was exiled here in a humiliating manner, that wasn't important, and Superboy-Prime didn't care about it.

"My Laurie, I'm finally back…"

Superboy-Prime murmured, eagerly dropping the latest comic and soaring into the sky, flying towards his homeland.

On the discarded comic book, the title read "New Gods: Rise #9".
