Chapter 755

In reality, those very few donkeys who stood at the pinnacle of luck, strength, and talent, and who successfully got to eat the carrot, were still not quite satisfied.

The higher they stood, the more dissatisfied they became with their position. To become a Singular God, every one of them had been proud and arrogant on their journey up. The more they discovered their own insignificance, the more they were driven mad with rage, desperately trying to climb to an even higher peak.

Until a group of daredevils, tired of messing around in the Sphere of the Gods and on the verge of insanity, recklessly ventured to the edge of the Sphere of the Gods, attempting to probe the profound mysteries of the Source Wall that sealed it off.

Then they were stuck to the wall, becoming living corpses unable to move, utterly in despair.

Tony, for instance, was a lucky one, someone who had the chance to see the even larger, more despair-inducing mountain hidden behind the small hill.

"The Flash was a genius. He exhausted all the secrets related to speed in this world..."

The Spectre's tone was haunting. Just seeing him use the Old Bartender's body to make such a profound expression made Tony's teeth itch with frustration.

This feeling of hating him but being unable to do anything about it was truly awful.

Tony looked at The Spectre with indifference, remaining noncommittal.

The Flash that The Spectre mentioned was no "scum" like the Flash from the Prime Universe who couldn't even handle Reverse Flash.

He was talking about the Monster who created the Speed Force Wall.

That was a Monster who had exhausted all concepts of speed in the world.

To that Flash, speed had already become a ridiculous concept, a boring thing devoid of any meaning.

He discovered, or rather created, the Speed Force, allowing this miraculous energy system to be used by more natives of the Multiverse.

He single-handedly created the Speed Force Wall, a self-growing colossus that infuriated countless Singular Gods.

He was the Savior of the innumerable weak life forms in the Multiverse, preventing billions of beings from becoming the prey of the Sphere of the Gods.

Once, a Deity skilled in teleportation raced against him, but he was still utterly defeated. When the Deity arrived at the finish line using teleportation, The Flash had already been there for a long time, waiting.

He *was* speed, speed that exhausted all concepts. He was the true God of Speed.

The ambitious Savitar had also tried to chase the footsteps of this Ultimate Flash, to replace him and become the God of Speed. The two fought a great battle at the End of Time, and the result was Savitar was defeated and thrown into the Speed Force Prison, where he remained until Tony miraculously released him.

It was precisely because he knew how terrifying this monster The Flash was that Tony would mock The Spectre, taunting him by saying the Speed Force Wall and the Source Wall were different.

The Spectre was the Avatar of the Level Ten God's rage, noble by birth, even more so than beings like the Monitor and Anti-Monitor who were formed from mere cosmic leg hair. He represented the tangible manifestation of a Level 10 Being's emotion.

The Source Wall, which exasperated countless Singular Gods, was like nothing to The Spectre. If he didn't use a corpse and moved purely in his spirit body, he could freely pass through the Source Wall, both inside and out. This was related to the nature of The Spectre's life, and could also be understood as a racial talent, a bonus talent bestowed upon him by God.

This was why Tony was so wary of The Spectre. Even if he could win against The Spectre, he could never kill him.

That was a life form born from God's own rage emotion.

But even a being as powerful and noble as The Spectre was in a bind inside the Speed Force Prison. To escape, he had to find a loophole in its programming.

Therefore, it was no exaggeration to call The Flash a Monster. He had created a super-program that could continuously grow, simulate the rules of the world to self-improve, and exert immense suppression on any Singularity Being.

What the Speed Force Wall would develop into in the future, no one knew.

Perhaps it would become... a new world, a super-world on the same level as the Sphere of the Gods.

"Did you know, many Gods are trying to find the core code of the Speed Force Wall, to find its secrets? They think that if they can find a way to obtain this code, they might be able to trace back to a more distant era and find information from that time."

The Spectre said suddenly.

"What the hell does that have to do with me?" Tony sneered.

The Spectre was silent for a moment before suppressing his anger and saying slowly, "The Flash knows information from that era. The Flash exhausted the profound mysteries of speed and time. He and Savitar once fought at the End of Time—that is a zone that is very mysterious even to a Singular God. Many Gods believe that the reason The Flash, a mere Multiverse native, was able to create something as terrifying as the Speed Force Wall is because he deciphered an ancient secret."

"Look at this Speed Force Wall, constantly improving, constantly growing... It's exactly like the Sphere of the Gods in its early years..." The Spectre's tone was haunting.

Tony said coldly, "What are you trying to say?"

"You are the only New God to be born in a world sealed by the Speed Force Wall. This significance is unique. We are not enemies."

The Spectre didn't say much more. He turned back and continued his aimless flight.

Tony's expression flickered with uncertainty. He gritted his teeth and followed.

That bastard. There was a reason he chose the Old Bartender's body after all.

...

Tony's main body could often only receive intermittent information about what was happening in the Speed Force Prison. The fragmented pieces came through without rhyme or reason, the order all jumbled.

This was likely a measure specifically designed by the Speed Force to target Singular Gods. Otherwise, a Singular God could simply create a cannon fodder clone to send into the Prison to explore, and the Speed Force Prison would have no secrets left, its deterrent effect greatly reduced.

"The Speed Force Prison... huh."

Tony mused, his expression incredibly serious. After thinking for a moment, he suddenly turned his head and said solemnly, "Son, what do you think about this matter?"

Duzun: "..."

"I think you shouldn't be asking me about this. So far, I've only been to the Anti-Matter Universe and the Prime Universe. I've had no contact whatsoever with this Speed Force thing."

Duzun was silent for a long while, until Tony's gaze on him grew deeper and more dangerous. Only then did the corner of his mouth twitch as he replied with a dark expression.

Tony shook his head, his face full of regret. "You're a lost cause, kid. I don't know how you've gotten by all these years. Look at Dark Superman, then look at you. As my progeny, you can't bring shame upon me."

"..."

Duzun felt the urge to kill someone. If only he wasn't outmatched... Hmph.

Duzun's eyes darted around as he thought of that rather restless Doomsday King Kong he had just recently come into contact with...

To be honest, the first time he saw that thing, Duzun had turned around and wanted to flee for his life. If Tony hadn't slapped him down with one palm, he would have been scared to death.

Duzun had heard the legends of the Ancient Doomsday for many years, and this time he had actually seen a similar being...

"If I could just abduct this steel Doomsday, wouldn't I have it made? I'd be ruling the Multiverse in minutes! No one would get to be my father then!"

The more he thought about it, the more excited Duzun became, his eyes turning red.

*Smack!*

"Don't slack off. Get back to training! You're so weak, it's embarrassing for you to be my son. How am I supposed to go out and meet other gods with you like this?"

Duzun: "..."
