Chapter 164

chapter 0103 part 2

In the early hours of the morning, the Big man watched the plane roar into the clouds, then got into a Humvee and returned to the Hotel where Charles Bishop Weyland was staying.

As the Boss of a world-renowned multinational group, Charles Bishop Weyland naturally stayed in a five-star Hotel.

"Boss, the Things have all been transported!"

The night was deep, but Charles Bishop Weyland was not sleeping. He sat in his Wheelchair, looking at the night view outside the window. The Big man carefully came up behind him and reported the progress of the Matters.

"Cobra's people and Tang's people had a conflict?"

As an Elder over ninety years old, Charles Bishop Weyland was gaunt, his face covered in Age Spots, but his eyes reflected in the Glass were still bright.

"Yes, Boss. That Storm Shadow is still in a coma. Do we need to step in and mediate?"

The Big man was a little unsure of his Boss's intentions. He carefully asked for his Boss's opinion.

"Heh heh, no need. It's a good opportunity to see their Strength. If they are truly useless, there's no need to bring them on this trip to Antarctica!"

Charles Bishop Weyland didn't take small, clandestine Organizations like Cobra seriously.

The reason he brought Cobra's Mercenaries this time was because they had sought him out for Cooperation.

The Big man stood with his hands hanging down, quietly acting as a listener.

"Jacob, you've met them. How do you feel about the Strength of these few people? Can they handle the Crisis in the Pyramid!"

Charles Bishop Weyland turned his Wheelchair around and looked back at the Big man, asking.

The Big man, Jacob, thought for a moment and replied, "Among the Cobra Mercenaries you hired, that Storm Shadow is a good hand. The others can only be considered barely usable!"

"Oh? What about Tang? How are he and his people?" Charles Bishop Weyland became interested.

He knew his Bodyguard well. Besides being a Mutant, he also possessed a strange African Witchcraft, especially in terms of his sixth sense, which gave him a keen, beast-like intuition.

"Very dangerous. The people he brought give me an extremely dangerous feeling!"

Jacob's Complexion was somewhat serious: "Boss, especially him personally, in my perception, he's no different from an Ordinary Person! However, judging by the comatose Storm Shadow, he is a very dangerous person!"

"Dangerous!?" Charles Bishop Weyland repeated Jacob's words, his withered hand stroking the armrest of the Wheelchair.

"Then, with him, can we deal with that group of Predators!?"

"It's difficult," Jacob shook his head: "Boss, the Technology of these Predators is clearly capable of Interstellar Travel. If they still engage in Close Combat or only use Shoulder Cannons and simple Stealth Gear like before, then there's no problem!"

"I'm worried that after our last ambush, these Predators won't engage in this kind of Trial challenge anymore. If they start using Alien Weaponry from their Spaceship, we have no Chance of Winning!"

"Boss, I suggest we stick to the original plan, enter the bottom of the Pyramid as quickly as possible, retrieve the Things you want, and try not to alarm those Predators!"

"Alright, I understand! You can go now!" After listening to Jacob, Charles Bishop Weyland reached out and rubbed his Eyebrow.

Jacob bowed to Charles, turned, and walked out the door, gently closing it behind him.

Inside the Presidential Suite, Charles Bishop Weyland, alone in his Wheelchair, reached into his Neck and pulled out a Silver Necklace. At one end of the Necklace was a hollow Red Gemstone. The Gemstone was hollowed out inside, filled with Red Liquid like Blood.

Charles Bishop Weyland clutched the Gemstone in his hand, his Expression incredibly conflicted. He held the Red Gemstone tightly for a full ten minutes before reluctantly tucking it back into his collar.

*Whoosh!* Ana sat up from the bed, gasping for air, like a fish out of water about to die of thirst.

The soreness all over her body seemed to remind her of the madness that happened last night.

She endured the Pain, found a Bathrobe to wrap herself in, and got up to walk out of the bedroom.

"You're awake!"

In the small Restaurant outside the bedroom, Tang Song and Fox were having Breakfast.

When Ana came out, Boss Tang was peeling a dumpling in his hand.

This was not the Bamboo Leaf dumpling from The East, but Costa Rican dumpling, a Feature of Costa Rica.

It uses a specially processed, sticky Corn Flour as the main ingredient,

Paired with Chicken Meat, Beef, Carrot, Potato, Shredded Coconut, etc.

The one in Tang Song's hand was also drizzled with Beef Gravy, and wrapped in fresh Banana Leaves into a flattened rectangular shape.

Tang Song had already tasted two, and the taste was quite good! "Come, sit, sit, sit, try this dumpling!"

Looking at Tang Song, who was clearly a stranger yesterday, Ana, whose Cobra Controller had been removed, reminded herself that she should be angry about being... violated last night.

But looking at the Asian man in front of her, she felt a sense of closeness! Of course, this wasn't entirely because, as Zhang Ailing said, Boss Tang took the shortest route. Well, at least not entirely.

This was thanks to some small Magical Techniques of the Joyous Union Sect. In matters concerning the opposite sex, the Joyous Union Sect truly had its unique methods.

Looking at the woman who Obediently sat down opposite him, Boss Tang handed her the peeled dumpling in his hand.

After the meal, Tang Song successfully learned about the Cobra Organization's structure from Ana, the former Baroness.

Yes, the reason for saying "former" was because that unfortunate Baron, after being used, had tragically died at the hands of Storm Shadow.

The uppermost power structure of the Cobra Organization consisted of three people: Cobra Commander, Medic; Destro; and the former Baroness in front of Tang Song.

Among them, Destro was the CEO of M.A.R.S. Industries, Northern Europe's largest military group producing extreme high-Technology Weapons.

This colleague of Tony Stark often instigated wars between countries in Africa and the Middle East, and encouraged warmongers to buy their Weapons, thereby making a fortune from war.

Compared to Tony Stark, for Destro, war was Humanity's most natural form of emotional expression, the best interpretation of survival of the fittest.

Destro was also one of Cobra's founders, as well as its largest financier and Weaponry supplier.

Cobra Commander, Medic, his Background/Identity was a mystery even within Cobra. He demanded absolute loyalty from every Soldier to their "common cause" - world domination.

According to Ana, this person was cold, obsessive-compulsive, and hostile towards everything; cautious, suspicious, and fond of cultivating a personality cult, thus he was often seen personally leading the charge on the front lines to expand his Influence within Cobra.

As for Ana herself, she was responsible for Cobra's Intelligence Department and was also one of Cobra Commander's adjutants.

However, from that Controller, it could be seen that this so-called head of the Intelligence Department was nothing more than a chess piece.

"Storm Shadow was once the most outstanding Ninja of the Arashikage. His original purpose for joining 'Cobra' was revenge.

Cobra Commander deceived Storm Shadow into loyalty by offering to reveal the Identity of the murderer of Storm Shadow's uncle as a Condition.

But it's clear that Cobra Commander lied to him!"

As she spoke, Ana subconsciously touched her Neck, her eyes filled with undisguised disgust.

The fact that she had been controlled by Cobra Commander for so long made her start to hate this Organization from the bottom of her heart.

However, Ana still had some Friendship with Storm Shadow, a former colleague she got along well with.

Her words still carried a hint of pleading for Storm Shadow.

"What's going on with the Soldiers you brought? They seem to have undergone Human Experimentation?"

Tang Song remembered the group of Cobra Soldiers he had seen. Their demeanor and Body Functions were clearly different from Ordinary People, so he asked Ana.

"It's Nanite Solution, a product developed by M.A.R.S. Industries. Cobra Commander injected each of them with 1000 milliliters of Nanite Solution,

Causing their Cerebral Cortex to lose its Self-preservation Mechanism. They have no Pain, no Fear, and have become a group of fearless Soldiers!"
