Chapter 210: Mephisto, Soul Church, Bloodbath
On the British Isles, amidst several pitch-black, barren, and hideous mountain peaks, a flat area spanning several square kilometers suddenly appeared. A dry, moistureless wind blew from somewhere unknown, whipping up massive air vortices and creating a smoky, chaotic scene across the flat ground enclosed by the mountains, making it impossible to see clearly. An elder wearing a black trench coat held a cane in his hand and waved it around haphazardly. As he waved his arm, circles of black light continuously emanated from his cane, causing fine ripples to spread through the surrounding space.
From the ground around him came the sound of countless small poisonous insects crawling.
Looking closely, a large swarm of poisonous insects had emerged from the ground, maliciously crawling a few steps towards him. Only after sensing the familiar magic power contained within the black ripples did they reluctantly writhe on the ground for a while before slowly burrowing back into the ground.
A black cat, completely pitch black with greenish-purple eyeballs, appeared from nowhere. It leisurely licked its glossy right paw with its tongue, then, with an utterly innocent look, softly meowed at the elder, "Meow."
This black cat, only about a foot long, but filled with an extremely bizarre aura.
Its fur was black, so black it seemed purple, like a deep pool that could suck in a person's soul.
Its two green eyes, however, carried a hint of demonic evil spirit, and looking at the elder, it seemed to be smiling.
"A mere evil spirit!" The elder's gaze ignited with blazing soul fire. He raised his cane, and a dark spell was about to strike the black cat.
"My Lord, restrain your anger!"
The air gently twisted and fluctuated, then, as if a curtain was pulled back, a figure shrouded in a black robe appeared.
Behind him followed several strange individuals in pitch black armor, each carrying a heavy knight sword, fully two meters long.
The Black Robed Person chuckled a few times and said in a low voice, "My Lord Mephisto, there's no need for you to be angry over a small black cat!"
"Meow!"
The black cat leaped into the Black Robed Person's arms. The Black Robed Person stroked the cat, its dark green eyes looking at Mephisto.
"Necromancer!"
Mephisto looked at the death knights behind the Black Robed Person, his gaze seemingly burning with soul fire.
Necromancers were not his followers. Necromancers were worshippers of another Dragon Lich Great Lord in Hell.
"Please follow me!"
The Black Robed Person walked towards a purely black Ancient Castle that had suddenly appeared ahead.
The Ancient Castle's pitch black Gate, a full meter thick, made of unknown materials, smooth as a mirror yet composed of countless black stripes forming a Demon Head, slowly opened.
Along the sides of the pitch black Tunnel, over two hundred Knights in pitch black armor stood holding their knight swords upright!
The heavy Iron Gate slammed shut, the pitch black Ancient Castle trembled, and then disappeared back into the swirling sand and dust.
After walking through the Tunnel, which was a full five hundred meters long, several Elders in black robes suddenly emerged from the complex, spiderweb-like Passages ahead.
Seeing Mephisto, they respectfully knelt on one knee, lowering their heads.
"My Lord!"
The Black Robed Necromancer saw them appear, nodded slightly, and transformed into a ball of black smoke, disappearing into the Passage.
"A small fellow, use the strength of your Dark Council to find him, and sacrifice his soul to me. I shall bestow upon you supreme strength!"
In the ancient Stone Hall, Mephisto looked down at the kneeling Black Wizards and spoke. He raised a finger, and a black mist materialized into a life-sized humanoid image.
On the upper level of the Stone Hall, in a place clearly designated as a meeting Room, the decoration was extremely luxurious, like a palace of gold.
A black crystal ball was displaying the scene from the lower Stone Hall.
Marvelous surveillance magic, undetected even by Mephisto! A furry werewolf, wearing ancient-style leather armor, at least two and a half meters tall, holding a meter-and-aalf long greatsword, grinned wide, revealing four large fangs.
"A mere Ordinary Person's soul is causing Mephisto to expend so much effort. It startled me. I thought the old fellow had lost his mind and was planning another true body descent!" As the werewolf spoke, his eyes flashed with fierce light, clearly plotting something.
"Mephisto is notoriously cunning. Be careful, don't let him cause trouble. If something truly goes wrong, hehe, Hell, that's not a good place!"
A Middle-aged Man, wearing an extremely old-fashioned but undoubtedly luxurious black tuxedo, with wavy long hair and a handsome face, said:
"Our Family doesn't want to experience another holy war triggered by the demon descent!"
He casually pressed a claw onto the bluestone railing beside him, and the thick railing immediately shattered into dust. A Vampire Clan member, judging by his aura, a truly high-rank Vampire Clan member.
"Keep an eye on them, keep an eye on Councillor Karl and the Mephisto-Following Lineage of Sorcerers. We don't want to provoke the sanctum mages, or that one!"
Several old wizards holding black cats set the tone.
"Demons, to true wizards, are just things to be exploited. A Demon descending in its true body is not in the interests of the Dark Council!
As mortals often say, only those in the sky are gods! Watch them. If they make any small moves, eliminate them. A Demon's clone, what excellent materials!"
Several Dark Bishops looked at each other and simultaneously let out terrifying sinister laughs! In the pitch black Ancient Castle, a chilling wind immediately swept through, and countless powerful creatures lurking in the darkness trembled at the sound of these conspiracy-filled laughs.
A few days later, Tang Manor. "Boss, the thing has been patched up!"
Tang Song was teasing the big cat in the Courtyard and feeding the fish. Schools of Koi swam in the Artificial Stream surrounding the Courtyard.
Lane directed several German Men to carry a piece of armor into the Courtyard. It was a three-meter-tall silver armor, covered in cracks, the Destroyer Armor that appeared in the small town on the border of New Mexico.
Tang Song walked up to the Destroyer Armor, placed his palm on it, and his divine sense penetrated the Destroyer's metal layer, sensing the runes contained within.
"What a pity!"
Feeling the intermittent Runic runes inside, Tang Song sighed. Although the cultural relic restoration Experts were skilled and had repaired the Destroyer, which was shattered by Thor's strike, to look presentable.
Unfortunately, the runes inside had long been reduced to dust.
"This armor is useless. Take it away and let the people in the Weapon Research Laboratory study it to see the material of this metal!"
Two German Men carried the patched-up Destroyer Armor away to the Weapon Research Laboratory.
Tang Song looked at Lane and asked, "Lane, has that batch of meat been sent to Siberia?"
Lane shook his head and said, "Boss, it's already on its way and will arrive today!"
