Chapter 257: Angels VS Warships

Thick blue energy beams shot out from the muzzles, falling like raindrops towards Knowhere, heavily bombarding the area near the Golden Arches not far in front of Tang Song.

The ground for tens of kilometers around, with rock and soil layers tens of meters thick, was completely overturned by the bombardment as if a tidal wave had struck, revealing the pale white bone fossils of Celestial heads beneath the rock layer. The attacks from these alien spaceships were much more powerful than Space-Based Weapons launched from low Earth orbit on Earth.

Not only was the intensity of the attack greater, but the coverage area was also more than ten times that of Space-Based Weapons.

"Looking at the design of these spaceships, they look somewhat different from the spaceships here now! It should be two different groups of people!"

The fleet in Outer Space and this batch of fleets in low Earth orbit seemed not to be the same group. To cause greater casualties to these 'Angels', their bombardment also included some space fighters.

However, in terms of casualty effect, this fleet was successful. The dense bombardment enveloped the Golden Arches, and the Angels flying out from inside all turned into nothingness in the bombardment.

Scattered white feathers almost covered Knowhere half a meter thick. This method of attack gave Tang Song the illusion that the opponent was blocking the entrance of a chicken coop and throwing firecrackers.

However, although this fleet in Outer Space used such dense firepower to block the Angels inside the Golden Arches, it did not cause significant damage to the Golden Arches itself.

After the first wave of millions of Angels rushed out of the Golden Arches, a portion, numbering nearly ten thousand Six-Winged Angels, directly joined in prayer. The surfaces of the statues of several Twelve-Winged Guardian Angels on the Golden Arches emitted pure white Holy Light.

Bathed in Holy Light, the main body of the Golden Arches completely entered the state Between Reality and Illusion.

It was as if it were located in the dimensional gap between reality and illusion. Whether it was the dense bombardment from the Outer Space fleet or the direct hit from the Main Cannons of the Kree Fleet that was close at hand, both seemed to bombard the air.

Not only that, Tang Song's Divine Sense swept over this millions-strong Angelic Legion. Most of the others were similar to Six-winged Metal Humanoids, a type of Angelic form puppet.

Inside, they were all energy cores composed of Holy Power. The truly sentient Six-Winged Angels added up to less than twenty thousand. Most of those killed by this bombardment were puppet-like Two-winged Angels. The vast Angelic Legion scattered at high altitude and fought together with the Kree's fighter jets.

Although the attack from that fleet in Outer Space cut off the reinforcements for the Angelic Legion and caused considerable casualties to the Angelic Legion, it clearly did not cripple this vast Angelic Legion.

The Ancient One sealed Heaven outside the Reality Dimension, not allowing them to descend and manifest their divinity. It seems she had her reasons.

However, in terms of spectacle and appearance, Heaven is indeed more suitable for developing followers. Their style, this scene, is truly very captivating.

In comparison, the so-called Asgard of a certain one-eyed commander is much inferior. No wonder there are far more people on Earth who believe in God than in Odin now.

When the Ancient One was discussing the Dao with Boss Tang, she once talked about some Dimensional Evil Gods and Pantheons who deeply coveted Earth, among which Heaven was on the list.

That 'Lord' has a very urgent need for the Power of Faith. According to the Ancient One's statement, besides Earth, Heaven has developed countless followers on Alien Planets and in other dimensions.

It seems the Power of Faith provided by the followers on Earth appears incredibly small compared to the followers in the entire territory of Paradise Mountain. But Earth seems to have an inexplicable attraction for all deities, Evil Gods, and Demons from all dimensions.

For Heaven, the significance of one high-level follower on Earth to them is roughly equivalent to the effect of tens of thousands of Fanatics on other planets.

Moreover, the quality of Earthlings' faith is exceptionally high, like an iron atom in a large mountain of steel suddenly being transformed into a silver atom. Although the quantity is small, it is a fundamental change.

Heaven will naturally not give up this fertile land.

Back then, the Ancient One and Odin joined forces and only barely managed to block these 'Cosmic Locusts' outside the Nine Realms. For this, the Ancient One also signed a contract with that 'Lord'.

Heaven's Angels cannot manifest their divinity on Earth. Except for the Vatican, they cannot descend into the Current World Dimension at will. As a condition, the Ancient One allowed Heaven's followers to preach on Earth. This is also the origin of The Church on Earth.

Compared to Heaven, with only a handful of people, Asgard's Aesir appear much more dilapidated.

I just don't know what Asgard looked like during its peak, with the Army of the Dead commanded by the Goddess of Death Hela, plus Valhalla, said to be comparable to Paradise Mountain.

I really don't know what plans Odin had in mind, personally sealing his own daughter. If he hadn't intervened, his own queen would have almost been killed by defeated subordinates like the Dark Elves.

You should know that during its peak, Asgard had the strength to easily defeat the Nine Realms.

While complaining about Odin crippling himself, Tang Song slowly walked towards The Collector's Palace Complex. Dense energy cannon barrages bombarded around him, either grazing his body and hitting nearby or passing through his body.

His body, like the Golden Arches, also seemed not to be in the Reality Dimension. He, a living person, walked so openly through the middle of the battlefield, but whether it was the Kree, Metal Wingmen, or those Angels, or that fleet in Outer Space, all seemed to have their perception blocked.

They completely did not notice him.

Tang Song was using a Spatial Spell named Two Realms Intangibility. This is not an ordinary magic art like Invisibility Technique formed by combining a few talismans and restriction formations; it is a true Spatial Spell.

To truly master Two Realms Intangibility, one needs to master as many as one thousand two hundred and sixty space talismans alone. The combinations and changes within it, the understanding of space, are simply impossible to comprehend without reaching the level of Pure Yang True Immortal.

Spatial and time-based spells are the most difficult to cultivate in any Universe or great world.

After all, time and space are not like the Five Elements, wind, or thunder that can be observed, perceived, or captured.

Tang Song was able to master Two Realms Intangibility thanks to the Space Gem and the Ancient One's support.

The existence of the Space Gem was simply like the entire Marvel Universe nakedly dissecting its own space rules in front of Boss Tang, like a goddess with a cold persona in the eyes of outsiders.

allowing Boss Tang to manipulate and appreciate it at will.

After clearly stating that he would take over the heavy responsibility of maintaining the Reality Dimension, the Ancient One opened the Kamar-Taj library to him. Within the library, many spatial and time-based dark magic techniques inherited from ancient times greatly benefited Boss Tang.

Among them, this spell of Two Realms Intangibility is a product of magical modification.

Tang Song walked through the chaotic battlefield as if no one else was around, arriving before The Collector's Castle. Looking at the blue energy shield in front of him, he lifted a foot and stepped. A Golden Bridge Phantom flashed beneath his foot.

By the time his foot landed, he had already appeared inside the protective shield, in front of the Castle's Gate.

"Boom!"

Elder Mandel and Star-Lord watched dumbfounded as the strong man in front of them punched out, a fist wind crackling with reddish-white electric light blasting a Four-Winged Angel into shattered pieces.

After taking down an Angel that he found troublesome, Adam stood behind Kane on his own.

Amidst the falling feathers, Kane looked at Hugh Veda, his gaze swept over Elder Mandel who was being held up by two Card Soldiers.

"'Leader Kane,' he is the black market merchant we contacted, responsible for procuring our warships and spaceships this time!" Hugh Veda explained Elder Mandel's origin to Kane.

Kane looked at Elder Mandel. "You are a black market merchant. The market on this Planet has been destroyed. Can you still get the goods we want?"

"'Yes, yes, no problem. This shop in Knowhere is just my storefront. My real resources and connections are not in Knowhere. Even if Knowhere is destroyed, it won't affect my business!'"

Elder Mandel felt the sharp qi all over Kane's body. On his rhinoceros face, those small eyes squeezed out a fawning smile towards Kane.
