**Chapter 319: Alien Slaughter**
In a small border town thirty miles from the Leon Military Base, several High School students walking home after school one noon suddenly smelled a pungent bloody scent as they passed a Small Alley.
They cautiously ventured into the depths of the Alley, where the scene of flesh and blood splattered everywhere nearly made them collapse.
Two black monsters were lowering their Heads, gnawing on several corpses.
A white girl with freckles was so scared she screamed out loud. Hearing the commotion, the two monsters turned to look at the students, then, flicking their sharp Tails, they rose onto their hind legs, slowly approaching the group with corrosive saliva dripping from their mouths.
"Get lost! Monsters!"
A burly white boy wearing a baseball uniform ignited two balls of Flames in his hands and threw them towards the two monsters.
Whoosh! The two Fireballs struck the hard, dark carapace of one monster, exploding into two large bursts of sparks before instantly vanishing.
The two monsters were stunned for a moment, then they swung their Tails and pounced on the group of prey.
"Run!"
Seeing this situation, the young people immediately took off running. Although they were Mutants, most only had first or second-level Abilities. The one with the greatest power was the young man who could release Flames, but it was clear his Ability couldn't harm these two monsters.
They sprinted out of the Small Alley.
With a push from their strong thighs, the two monsters quickly chased after the group.
