Chapter 527: Small Matters, Big Meetings; Big Matters, Small Meetings!
Today is already the 5th of August in the year 1500 of the Marine Calendar.
This means that the 'First Myriad Worlds Combat Power Tournament', which began on July 1st, has been underway for thirty-six days. There are only two matches left before all participants' Points can be tallied and ranked.

Most Squads went up, started fighting, and either quickly defeated their opponent or were quickly defeated themselves.
The fastest match was decided in less than half an hour.
This is why the Otherworld Strategy Committee is considering shortening the time limit to two days or even one day for the next tournament.
However, even after these last two matches are finished, it doesn't mean the 'Tournament Stage' is over.
Because among the remaining two hundred participants, there will inevitably be many with the same number of Points.

The remaining participant who tried to approach was knocked unconscious by Beckman using the butt of his Rifle. However, this also resulted in Beckman only Obtaining 11 Points, while Mekko, Krieg, and Arlong all Obtained 10 Points.
So next, everyone with 10 Points will have to go through a series of Elimination Rounds to determine the final 'Top 100', before proceeding to the final one-on-one Ranking Match.
For the Audience, being able to watch another month or so of matches was certainly a source of Joy.
As for the World Government, they continued with their usual affairs; they only needed to wait for the results of the competition. In comparison, the Military and Political High Command were more concerned with the discussion currently taking place in the Political Affairs Department's Meeting Room.
