Chapter 402: Harpie Lady's Backrow Destruction

As Mai Valentine drew a card, one of the three giant black light swords surrounding Valon's field shattered. The originally stable triangle became just two independent supports.

"I activate the Spell Card, Card of Demise! This card's effect allows both players to draw until they have six cards in their hand!" Mai Valentine said, drawing six cards from her Deck. "Since my hand size is 0, I can draw six cards."

Mai Valentine explained as she drew a Monster Card from her hand. "And its second effect is, each time a Harpie Lady is successfully Summoned or Special Summoned, target one Spell/Trap Card on the field and destroy it!"
Even though she had boasted last turn about showing Valon, who looked down on her, just how capable she was, her strategy had been repeatedly thwarted. Mai Valentine also brought out her true capabilities, intending to launch the Harpie Lady offensive from here.
"Normal Summon Harpie Perfumer in Attack Position! I activate her own effect! When she is successfully Summoned or Special Summoned, I can add one Spell/Trap Card that lists 'Harpie Lady Sisters' from my Deck to my hand! The card I will add to my hand is Cyber Shield."
