Chapter 14

chapter 008 part 1

Martin felt a bit helpless. He shrugged, then casually lowered his head to straighten his meticulously adjusted tie. With a glance, the numerous warships instantly transformed into Vehicle Form. Martin nodded in satisfaction and stepped directly onto an aircraft carrier.

Millions of Transformers also sprang into action, scrambling onto the various warships in a chaotic rush. One stepped on another, and every now and then, a Transformer would be casually pulled down by a larger one from behind, getting trampled into oblivion in a truly miserable fashion.

For a moment, the scene appeared somewhat comical.

"Hey! I'm already overloaded! If any more Transformers get on, I'll have to swim just like you guys!"

A destroyer shouted in clear dissatisfaction.

After a fierce struggle, hundreds of warships were packed with Transformers. Only the aircraft carrier Martin was on remained clean and spacious, with just him and Megatron aboard.

Any short-sighted Transformer attempting to climb onto this carrier was instantly kicked away by Megatron, their chassis shattered—a truly tragic sight.

The ships were filled with Transformers; those remaining had no choice but to run on two legs. Fortunately, for them, the materials reinforced by the Allspark could withstand a certain amount of water pressure. However, not all Transformers could endure it, meaning a small portion was destined to be buried at the bottom of the sea.

Especially those small Transformers that had been watches or mobile phones.

Megatron regarded this with a cold expression. These warriors before him would all be his soldiers, members of the Decepticon Army he was building. He had never had any use for failures.

The massive fleet, accompanied by millions of swimming Steel Legion, majestically headed towards the African Continent, ignoring the countless prying eyes. They proceeded with such brazen arrogance and power, moving straight ahead, incredibly dominant.

Yet, no one dared to provoke them. Everyone had witnessed the consequences of doing so; even Nuclear Missiles were mere toys in that man's hands. Furthermore, his conduct knew no restraint, completely unafraid of single-handedly igniting a global war. This terrifying and domineering stance was what truly instilled fear in people.

A powerful, honest person isn't frightening, like Professor X, who could wipe out half of Earth's Human population in an instant.

A Tyrant with rivals isn't frightening either, like Magneto, who could overturn an entire continent.

The most terrifying type is Martin: immensely powerful, utterly uninhibited, with clear objectives. He wouldn't be entangled or restrained by trivial external matters, only focusing relentlessly on his goal. Those who stood in his way would be killed.

This was the type of individual who caused the most headaches for leaders of major powers who controlled everything; they simply didn't know how to control him.

Time passed amidst panic and tension. Martin had already led his colossal army to the African Continent, where the Steel Legion rolled forth.

"Ding! Congratulations, Host, for completing the Emergency Mission: Deterrence. Rewarding one Lottery Draw opportunity!"

Martin stepped onto the land of the African Continent, gazing at the Light Screen in his mind. He watched as images flashed rapidly across it, featuring various famous Transformers. However, only the Decepticon Transformers were lit up; the Autobot Transformers remained greyed out, indicating they were not available for extraction.

He also saw numerous Holy Relics, and even the Ten Great Divine Artifacts, which surpassed the Holy Relics!

This made him incredibly envious.

"Lottery Draw."

"Congratulations, Host, you have drawn the Decepticon Combiner Transformer, Devastator!"

[The Combiner Transformers are here, please give us flowers and tickets!].

"It's Devastator!"

Martin's face was filled with pleasant surprise.

A Combiner Transformer! This was a formidable force, a true battlefield behemoth. Several Transformers, not particularly powerful individually—certainly not on par with Primes—could combine their bodies to quickly form a massive entity, wreaking havoc across the battlefield!

In fact, excluding Piranacon, who was universally acknowledged as the strongest Combiner Transformer in naval combat but the worst on land, Devastator was widely considered the weakest and most unreliable ground combat Combiner Transformer. He always messed up at critical moments, a veritable disgrace among Combiner Transformers. But even so, considering the boost he'd give to the Legion's offensive power, this was still a pleasant surprise.

Martin raised a hand and directly summoned Devastator. Soon, a Light Screen projected from Martin's mind, rapidly sketching out six figures that gradually stood before Martin.

Six light-green construction vehicle Transformers successively stood before Martin: Scavenger, Mixmaster, Long Haul, Hook, Bonecrusher, and Scrapper.

These six individuals were the components that formed the Combiner Transformer, Devastator!

[Devastator]
[Decepticon Army • Constructicons (Combiner Transformer)]
[Personality: Chaos (Intelligence -45%, Coordination -65%)]
[Height: Meters]
[Energy: 8.4 million]
[Chassis: Healthy]
[Combat Power: Level Four (Pseudo)]
[Motto: Thought and victory cannot be conflated.]
[Evaluation: The Decepticon Army's genius scientists developed Combination Technology, a groundbreaking innovation. Devastator was the first experimental product of this new technology, and he once caused significant trouble for the Autobots. Before being decisively defeated by Omega Supreme, he was an invincible behemoth on the battlefield. His only flaw is that his mind doesn't work very well; six different minds constantly vie for control of the body. If you're teamed up with this guy, be careful not to get accidentally eliminated by him.]

Looking at Devastator's data, Martin rubbed his temples. To be honest, these stats, with equally prominent strengths and weaknesses, were indeed within his expectations.

Normally, a Combiner Transformer, once combined, would have only one mind for thought and decision-making. The Transformers forming the other body parts would automatically enter a spectator state, able only to see and hear, unable even to speak.

But Devastator was quite special; he simply didn't follow that rule. All six components could think, and all possessed the ability to make decisions and execute actions. Thus, it's easy to imagine how unreliable this guy was; tripping over his own right foot with his left was a common occurrence.

"Ah, esteemed Creator, your glory leaves me spellbound—my creations are monuments to my foes. It is an honor to work for you."

Scrapper was the first to offer a gentlemanly bow. The words he spoke were, in fact, his famous motto.

Though it was quite nonsensical.

"Megatron, they're yours. If used well, they can be a powerful force." Martin couldn't help but rub his forehead again, a headache starting to form.

Megatron strode forward, radiating a chilling aura. He had already found Devastator's relevant data in his mental database. Naturally, this individual still failed to satisfy his proud and arrogant nature.

The only Combiner Transformer he could truly acknowledge was, of course, that legendary, most terrifying and powerful behemoth whose individual components could even contend directly with him, a Leader Transformer—the strongest Combiner Transformer in history, slumbering from ancient times until the present day—Predaking!

That guy was the true epitome of a ruthless character!

A comprehensive assessment suggested that a fully formed Predaking had likely already reached Sub-Skyfather level, and that was without the use of external Holy Relics for enhancement.

Compared to Predaking, these six things before him… looked utterly worthless no matter how he viewed them.

"Ah, Lord Megatron, a pleasure to meet you. We are willing to obey your will." Scavenger immediately offered an awkward flattery.

"You six glorified pieces of junk, listen closely! Your mission soon will be to charge. When I tell you to charge, you will keep charging until you reach the end of the coastline! Anyone who holds back, I will personally tear apart and replace the body part they represent with another Transformer!!"
