Chapter 166
chapter 105 part 2
The Heralds of Galactus looked up at him:
Silver Surfer, Tyrant, Stardust, and Firelord.
"Master, the Annihilation Wave has been searching for your whereabouts. If we leave again, you will be in great danger... That Bug King is cunning, but terrifyingly strong," Silver Surfer said, raising his head. His expression was indifferent, and his mercury-like body now radiated a soft glow as he stood on his Cosmic Surfboard.
Firelord impatiently shot out a burst of flame and said icily, "Why don't we team up and kill that pest first?"
"No, that bug is top-tier even among Universe-tier beings. The four of us, even with our ravenously hungry Master, have no chance of winning," Stardust replied, transforming into countless specks of light, dispersing and converging.
Tyrant, shouldering a massive axe, had a fierce savagery in his brutal expression, "Find a high-energy Planet as quickly as possible. Once our master's hunger is appeased, we'll go back and destroy that race!"
"Then act quickly! I can't wait! Once I'm full, I'll personally strangle that bug!"
Galactus growled lowly, his terrifying mouth opened wide, like a black hole. —To some extent, that mouth truly was a black hole; he had been eating for over ten billion years and still wasn't full. He was perpetually in a state of hunger, and his combat power was constantly draining due to this hunger.
This was the fundamental reason why the invincible Galactus was notoriously weak. In many Universes, he even became a barometer for Cosmic-level Major Events; whenever such an event erupted, Galactus was the first to die as a sacrificial lamb.
Sometimes he was slain by other Deities, other times he was simply beaten black and blue by a group of Earth's Superheroes.
In Marvel, if you haven't taken down Galactus, you can barely call yourself a Superhero.
At this moment, hearing Galactus's bold pronouncement about filling his belly, the four Heralds simultaneously turned their heads away.
They had long since given up hope.
For over ten billion years, the invincible Galactus was still on his quest to eat and find food—it was truly despair-inducing...
"There's no other way then. If we truly must find one, it can only be that Planet..." Stardust, transformed into countless particles, suddenly spoke.
The other three Heralds looked at her, "Which one?"
Stardust replied, "The Skrull Homeworld."
"Move immediately. I shall consume it."
Galactus immediately set off, heading towards the Andromeda Galaxy.
Galactus rapidly moved towards the Skrull Empire's homeworld. His enormous and terrifying body traversed countless galaxies along the way, but none of the Planets he passed interested him.
They were all dreadful, inedible Planets.
At this time, members of the Skrull Empire were celebrating their latest victory over their mortal enemies, the Kree.
"Hmph, that idiotic Supreme Intelligence, in the end, it's nothing more than an AI," the Skrull King said, raising a toast to the ministers filling the room.
Just then, an Imperial General rushed in in a disheveled state, drenched in sweat, "Your Majesty, Galactus has arrived!"
"What?!"
Everyone was stunned, utterly terrified.
"Galactus, how could he be here? The entire Universe is so vast, with so many Planets, yet he specifically targeted our Skrull Empire's homeworld?!"
His Majesty the King's face contorted.
As an ancient civilization, members of the Skrull Empire knew all too well the meaning behind the name Galactus; it symbolized Death and despair.
Whenever Galactus appeared, a Planet would inevitably be consumed by him.
"General, you shall go and negotiate with Galactus. Galactus is a gentle Tyrant; if you speak with him properly, we can at least transfer the entire Planet's population away first."
The King said, barely composing himself.
It was widely known that when Galactus consumed a Planet, he would always send Heralds ahead to notify the natives, allowing them to escape if possible, before he began feeding.
Unfortunately, the unfortunate members of the Skrull Empire encountered an unprecedentedly hungry and berserk Galactus.
"Your Majesty, the General was annihilated into cosmic dust by an Energy wave sprayed by Galactus!" Someone rushed in to report shortly after.
"All ministers, immediately board emergency escape Spaceships and leave this place. This homeworld... we no longer want it!"
Soon, a Spaceship shot towards Deep Space, but the countless populace, industries, and laboratories of that homeworld all went into Galactus's belly.
They watched helplessly as Galactus, with one hand, grabbed their palm-sized homeworld, then bit into it—Galactus's body was simply too enormous.
The homeworld exploded, and the Skrull Empire suffered a sudden heavy blow. The very essence of their civilization was thus buried.
"Your Majesty, this must have been the Kree's doing; they must have lured Galactus here! Otherwise, why would Galactus be so berserk?"
"Exactly, it must be. The Kree are the dirtiest species in the Universe; such a despicable act must be their handiwork!"
Many high-ranking officials crowded around the grim-faced King, all speaking at once.
The King's gaze was complex. Suppressing his heartache, he quickly considered his next plan. Finally, he said icily, "Our homeworld has been destroyed, and the entire Skrull Empire has lost a third of its strength. We need to find a sufficiently excellent Planet to rise again..."
The King quickly scanned the star map, pondering repeatedly, and said in a low voice, "Send a troop to infiltrate this Planet and assess its feasibility as a backup homeworld."
The King was referring to... Earth!
The uniqueness of this Planet was gradually being noticed by some entities in the Universe. The savage Martin came from here, the Celestials had descended upon this Planet multiple times, and it was also the central location of the World Tree...
Frankly, members of the Skrull Empire had been eyeing this place for a long time. Now was the perfect opportunity to dispatch a team to secretly lie low on Earth.
"Look, what's that?" A member of the Skrull Empire pointed in a direction.
Suddenly, vast numbers of bizarre Insectoids appeared, howling as they crossed galaxies. The moment they saw Galactus, they ferociously pounced!
Countless Insectoids, fearless of Death, clung to Galactus, tearing and biting. Furthermore, many powerful humanoid Insectoids pinned down the four Heralds, while the rest frantically rushed towards Galactus, powerful Energy waves slamming into his body!
Galactus, who had been constantly in a state of hunger and weakness, now let out a deafening roar.
[The Skrull Homeworld was indeed consumed by Galactus, which is why the Skrull Empire fears him so greatly.]

Chapter 199
"Was Galactus taken down this time?"
Martin sat in his seat, savoring his freshly brewed coffee. Suddenly, his expression shifted. His immense willpower rapidly extended, instantly crossing countless galaxies, tracking the location of the fierce confrontation between Universe-tier existences that had suddenly erupted.
His endless gaze landed directly on the scene of Galactus being imprisoned and dragged away by numerous Insectoids.
The pathetic Galactus was covered in wounds from head to toe. The endless Insectoids around him formed a terrifying Annihilation Swarm, and wherever they passed, all Planets were completely devoured.
"To think that a God dared to make a move on Galactus, one of the Five Great Creation Gods, and actually succeeded..."
Some Deities' expressions grew strange, and a thought stirred in their hearts: *Is Galactus really that weak? Even the Five Great Entities aren't invincible...*
But no one acted, merely watching with indifference as the invincible symbol, Galactus, collapsed under the attack of the Annihilation Wave.
"Annihilation Wave... so that's it..."
Martin slowly retracted his gaze, a look of sudden understanding appearing on his face.
This was the Annihilation Event. Galactus had been targeted by Annihilus and captured to serve as a Living Battery.
Fortunately, he at least managed to save his life and wasn't killed as a sacrificial lamb.
"The Annihilation Event—this is a plague of the Annihilation Wave that affects the entire Universe. Countless civilizations will be forced to join forces to combat the endless armies of the Annihilation Wave..."
Martin slowly put down his coffee, gazing thoughtfully into the distance.
The Annihilation Event had forced the Three Great Interstellar Empires and the Nova Corps to unite against the threat of this terrifying Annihilation Wave.
"I am also in the Milky Way Galaxy, and sooner or later, I will be subjected to attacks from the Annihilation Wave. Moreover, Annihilus's strength is immense, coupled with various strange abilities..."
Martin pondered for a moment, then smiled. If these Insectoids dared to provoke him, then he would simply exterminate them.
It was also time to spread the Transformers' Spark throughout the entire Universe, and with an endless Iron Army, utterly cleanse all enemies.
