Marvel: Start Signing in with Megatron Chapter 117

Looking at these strange things, clearly devoid of life fluctuations yet still "alive," Galactus felt insulted.

These tiny humans dared to speak of hunger in his most proficient domain?!

"Ah, such a big piece of meat!"

All the Zombies' eyes turned red. With infatuated expressions, they fearlessly pounced on Galactus, but how could they possibly be Galactus's opponents? They were utterly thrashed.

"Quick, set up the cosmic cannon!"

"Go call Sentry! That guy is tearing at Magneto and Black Panther on the other side of the planet!"

The Zombies yelled and screamed, their faces full of longing.

Boom!

With a deafening roar, the Fantastic Four activated the cannon specifically designed to deal with cosmic Deities. A single shot left a wound on Galactus's shoulder.

The next instant, Sentry, having received the news, roared over and immediately bit fiercely into Galactus's wound. The terrifying Zombie virus instantly spread throughout Galactus's body.

Galactus let out a wail. In that instant, all his reason and thought seemed to freeze. A terrible distortion was taking place.

Numerous Zombies began to frantically pounce, gnawing on the flesh and blood of the Deities.

"Is this what a god tastes like? I'm going to eat all the Deities in this Universe!"

Hulk roared heavenward, frantically devouring Galactus's flesh and blood.

"You bastards, how dare you offend a cosmic god?!" Silver Surfer raged and raised his hand to fire an energy beam to save his master.

Snap!

A terrifying giant hand suddenly reached out and seized Silver Surfer.

"Master...!!"

Crunch!

The Zombified Galactus crammed Silver Surfer into his mouth, chewing heartily and revealing a look of pleasure.

"Damn it, how did you Zombify so quickly?! I was still thinking of carving all your meat off and eating it in several sittings!!"

Iron Man put his helmet back on, grumbling.

The flesh of their own kind was inedible; it was sour and foul-smelling. Otherwise, the ravenous Zombies would have devoured each other long ago.

However, because they had eaten one of Galactus's arms, their hunger was alleviated. This group of people, having regained their sanity, gathered to discuss how to research a vaccine to cure their Zombie virus.

But this was merely a pipe dream. Similar things had happened too many times. In the initial stages of the virus's spread, after eating many living people, they also planned to develop a vaccine during the brief intervals when they regained their sanity.

But for Zombies, filling their stomachs was a luxury. These guys, who had just filled themselves by eating one of Galactus's arms, in mere minutes, felt that terrifying hunger surge up again.

"So hungry!"

Wolverine roared heavenward and actually spewed forth a terrifying cosmic superpower from his mouth. All the Zombies immediately became ecstatic.

"You ate my flesh and gained my cosmic superpower! You now possess the ability to traverse the cosmos."

Zombie Galactus, ravenous, abruptly rose and was about to travel to other planets. This time, however, he wasn't going to eat planets, but flesh and blood.

[Damn it, I suspect you peeked at my outline, guessing it was the Zombie virus so quickly... Begging for another wave of subscriptions, another Multiverse major event has arrived!].

Chapter 222

Each Zombie also wore a fanatical expression. They knew what this meant—the entire Universe would open its doors to them!

That endless flesh and blood, endless life, would all become their most delicious food!

An entire Universe's worth of food! Oh God, they who had long since devoured billions of humans on Earth along with countless animals, couldn't wait at the thought of it. Hunger and gluttonous instinct drove them, one by one, to rush towards the cosmos.

As for sanity? Developing a vaccine?

Don't be silly. They thought that way when they first got infected with the virus. Five years later, after all living creatures on Earth had been eaten, they still thought that way.

It was useless.

The Zombie virus was incurable. Even if the smartest minds in the world gathered, they couldn't develop a vaccine to cure the virus.

"A bunch of foolish fellows."

After they left, Reed, leader of the Fantastic Four, sneered repeatedly and continued to engross himself in developing the cosmic shuttle.

One Universe was simply not enough to eat. As the smartest man on Earth, Reed was very clear about this. He himself was a Zombie, one who had actively accepted the Zombie virus and subsequently transformed. He even went so far as to infect the other three, turning them into Zombies!

He understood the Zombie virus too well.

"Reed, how much longer until you develop this machine?! I'm practically starving to death!!" The Thing roared loudly. This gentle giant, after becoming a Zombie, had become extremely violent in temperament.

Reed didn't even lift his head. "Soon, it won't be long. The entire Multiverse will open its doors to us. Countless Universes will be our hunting grounds. Countless living people will be our food."

"The human species is inherently driven by appetite and intelligence. For millions of years, relying on intelligence, they continuously hunted other species. Eventually, they became the overlords of Earth. Clearly, the Zombie virus makes our appetite even more ravenous, yet it allows us to retain our intelligence. Zombies are, in essence, enhanced humans!"

A light of intelligence gleamed in Reed's cloudy eyes. It was a very bizarre scene.

This was also why Reed didn't hesitate to infect the other three family members with the Zombie virus and then have them bite him. Reed, extremely obsessed with knowledge and the unknown, found it hard to resist the temptation of the Zombie virus.

However, other Zombies had surprisingly achieved a leap to a higher level by consuming Galactus, which indeed exceeded Reed's expectations. But he didn't care about it.

"The entire Earth should have lasted for many, many years. Billions of humans should have been eaten by us for many years. All that was needed was to quickly share the kill after hunting a living person. Don't give that living person a chance to Zombify.—But unfortunately, these greedy and foolish fellows wantonly bit living people. This led to too many uneaten individuals turning into Zombies, who then went on to bite other living people. The entire human world fell at an astonishing speed. Our food dwindled."

"What a pity, billions of people were devoured in just five years. I also underestimated the Zombies' craving for food and the living. How long could a mere Universe sustain us? Thirty years, or fifty years?"
