Marvel: Start Signing in with Megatron Chapter 119
"The Five Great Creation Gods are bound by the specific universal laws they embody; logically, even if they were to die, they should perish within their specific universe. How can they traverse universes?"
Only with the arrival of an entity like Galactus did the bewildered Deities truly awaken. They all turned their gaze, beginning to observe the chaotic Earth and the grotesque species chasing living beings in hordes, their faces filled with confusion.
Many Deities analyzed these changes, but they became stumped when observing the virus, their faces aghast. They couldn't perceive the virus's true essence!
"So hungry, all of you are my food!"
No sooner had Zombie Galactus arrived than he simply lowered his head for a glance at Earth. Then, raising a hand, he scooped up an entire city that was desperately resisting the zombie horde, stuffing all the terrified, screaming inhabitants into his mouth before contentedly soaring towards the cosmic expanse.
"I will devour all the Deities in this universe!" Zombie Galactus declared, his cloudy eyes gleaming with greed.
"Damned thing, who do you think you're going to devour? Did you ask me first?"
Scarcely had Zombie Galactus flown out of the Solar System when a golden entity, sensing something amiss, abruptly appeared. With a thunderous impact, it slammed a powerful punch into Zombie Galactus.
Golden radiance permeated, exuding nobility, and a vast aura of life spread, further provoking countless zombies to howl in unison.
Galactus's evolved form—the Lifebringer—had arrived.
Two identical figures stared at each other.
"My counterpart from a parallel universe, what has happened to you? I must know everything!"
Divine Radiance pulsed throughout the Lifebringer's body as he met the gaze of his other self with an authoritative expression.
Zombie Galactus was stunned, staring blankly at the Lifebringer, his mouth full of grotesque teeth unconsciously grinding. "So this is your Lifebringer form now? I spent over ten billion years trying to fill my belly, never managing to cross into this realm... You truly are a lucky fellow..."
Zombie Galactus bared his fangs, growing increasingly crazed. "A form like this makes you even more delicious! If I devour you, I will certainly fill my belly, and perhaps I can even evolve into a Lifebringer!"
"You? You'll never get that chance in this lifetime. Die."
The Lifebringer sneered, then acted with a thunderous roar. With a burst of Divine Power, his terrifying strength manifested, delivering a fierce punch to his opponent's face and instantly smashing half of Zombie Galactus's head flat!
Zombie Galactus felt no pain, cackling as he continuously lunged forward, extending his claws to grab at the Lifebringer. However, the Lifebringer was extremely cautious; a quick glance at Earth's situation was enough for him to grasp what was happening, and he constantly guarded against injury.
The two Galactus fought fiercely in the cosmic expanse, terrifying Divine Power surging. Zombie Galactus was gradually pinned down and brutalized by the Lifebringer!
The Lifebringer was truly too powerful. This was the genuine strength of a Creator God, far beyond what his past, starving Galactus form could compare to!
Many Deities observed this battle, watching the grotesque zombies that had spread from Earth to the Moon. Gradually, they began to comprehend, and then shifted their attention to the fight between the two Galactus.
"Indeed, Galactus, this Creator God, is very unique. He has no True Form... or rather, every counterpart is his True Form."
After a while, a Deity spoke with a strange expression.
Entities like Oblivion, Eternity, Infinity, and Death all possess a True Form. All their avatars are energy and rule-based bodies derived from the True Form. Therefore, it's impossible for two avatars to possess independent willpower, let alone engage in cross-universe brawls.
But Galactus, uniquely, could do it. Not only did he possess a physical body that could be infected by the virus, but he also lacked a True Form, leading to this bizarre situation.
"No wonder they say Galactus has the lowest standing... utterly devoid of the transcendent nobility of Marvel's Creator Gods, always being dragged out as a sacrifice..."
A figure descended with overwhelming force.
Martin watched the scene of the two Galactus brawling with a peculiar expression.
Chapter 226
Zombie Galactus was utterly pulverized by the Lifebringer. Punch after punch rained down, and his decaying body, transformed into a zombie, simply couldn't contend with the Lifebringer.
Finally, Zombie Galactus roared, unleashing all of his cosmic powers.
"It's useless. You are not the Galactus of this universe, so your cosmic powers are extremely limited..."
The Lifebringer initially remained indifferent, then his movements paused. As he was attacked by the barely surging cosmic powers, his own golden radiance instantly dispersed everything.
Zombie Galactus seized the opportunity, wrapping his arms around the Lifebringer. Even as his body was torn apart by the golden power, he greedily took a savage bite out of the Lifebringer's form.
He abandoned everything for that single bite.
"As expected of my counterpart, your flesh is incredibly delicious..."
Zombie Galactus bit and tore at him frantically.
The Lifebringer frowned deeply, pulling him off and intending to use his Divine Power to destroy the vile thing spreading within him.
But it was useless. Not even Deities were immune to its spread; not even Divine Power could kill these viruses.
Roar!
With a roar, the Lifebringer's golden body began to decay, transforming into a zombie.
"What in the world is this thing?! Just one bite, and it turned into this monstrosity?!"
"A virus that even Deities can't immune themselves to... Very peculiar, but it also reflects how foolish Galactus was."
"These entities came from an alternate universe just to spread the virus and seek more food..."
The Deities watched this scene in astonishment, witnessing Galactus's complete corruption and mutation in an incredibly short time.
"A boring farce."
Martin donned his Supreme Divine Armor, and with a flash of blue light, he gripped the Star Sword. As the Lifebringer slowly rose, Martin fiercely slashed down.
These two Galactus were simply too destructive; it was better to eradicate them sooner rather than later.
"Although the zombie virus is potent, its limitations are also too vast. At the Universe-tier, most Deities have already transformed their physical bodies into energy and cosmic laws, making them impossible for the virus to infect..."
Unless, of course, an infected being like Galactus forcibly blasted and killed gods of energy and cosmic laws.
"Ha, a strange Cosmic God. In my universe, I've never heard of you."
