Chapter 234

Rip!

Martin immediately opened a Space-Time Tunnel and, laughing, grabbed Lex Luthor's head before stepping inside.

Lex Luthor of New 52 Earth—if he had developed according to the normal timeline, this guy would have, during the Darkseid War, obtained the Omega Effect in one fell swoop, becoming the God of Apokolips. In the subsequent apocalypse, he would also have pledged allegiance to the Creation Goddess, devoured the Martian Manhunter, and evolved into a terrifying apex predator.

Unfortunately, none of this was to be. Lex Luthor's head had already been severed by Martin.

As Martin departed, the oppressive feeling that had weighed down the entire Earth suddenly vanished. Countless people, drenched in sweat, slumped to the ground, their eyes blank.

"Has that monster finally left?"

"Too terrifying. This is what Deities are like..."

"Lex Luthor was killed by him, which is good. This world has one less disaster-maker."

The heroes across the entire Earth felt heavy-hearted, a complex expression in their eyes.

In the secret base of the Justice League, Clark, who had just absorbed a large amount of yellow radiation and barely recovered from his injuries, was stunned upon hearing the news, then let out a sigh.

"Lex Luthor is dead?"

"Yes, and the original is dead. The other dozen or so clones have all been found one by one, and they're all completely insane... This was probably done intentionally by Lex Luthor, to prevent the clones from rebelling once they realized they weren't the real person."

Batman said in a deep voice.

"To even deceive his own clones, that lunatic!" Flash cursed under his breath.

"Regardless, one disaster has completely ended."

The heroes exchanged glances, falling silent simultaneously, deep bitterness on their faces.

But this kind of ending wasn't what they wanted. They, the strongest hero team protecting Earth, were ultimately powerless against terrifyingly powerful enemies. Whether it was Darkseid, Doomsday, or Martin, not a single one could they contend with.

What made them feel even worse was that these Deities from other worlds clearly regarded Earth as a hunting ground of sorts, coming and going as they pleased. They were completely helpless.

For the Justice League, this was a tremendous humiliation.

"Constantine, we need to set up a global magic monitoring system to compensate for the shortcomings of our technological monitoring..." Diana had just begun to speak when Constantine turned and walked away.

"Give me a break. I don't want to get involved with you heroes at all. If it weren't for the fact that I summoned Martin, I wouldn't bother with any of you..."

Constantine's face still held an air of decadence.

But no one knew the terror in his heart. As the Hellblazer, and as Earth's top Archmage, Constantine, despite constantly backstabbing and betraying teammates, being unscrupulous, shameless, and always bailing when things get tough, his magical attainments and the breadth of his information channels were undeniable.

He had just received definitive confirmation of some vague yet unsettling news from his Devil friends.

"The Marvel Multiverse... Do such worlds truly exist in this reality? He really is an Otherworld visitor. No wonder I've never heard of him..."

Constantine departed with hurried steps, his mood incredibly heavy.

He needed to prepare for the worst.

Meanwhile, on Apokolips.

Martin placed Lex Luthor's head directly in the laboratory and set up an extremely stringent monitoring system, firmly restricting Lex Luthor's personal agency.

He had to guard against him strictly. This guy was one of DC Comics' most formidable intellects. Any oversight, and this guy would seize the opportunity to stir up trouble.

"Next is the waiting game. Waiting for that fool, Anti-Monitor, to finally make his move... Once he fully activates the Anti-Life Equation, it will be my time to act. Then, I will completely open the passage between the two major worlds!"

Martin sat comfortably on Darkseid's throne, his hands clasped, waiting patiently, silently gazing down upon the countless worlds within the God Domain.

Many Deities gazed at him with puzzled expressions, wondering why this Otherworld visitor had suddenly fallen silent again. They immediately felt incredibly anxious.

They weren't afraid of Martin causing trouble; they even wished he would get active and stir up Chaos everywhere. What worried them was Martin's silent, inactive state.

Who knew how much time had passed.

"Hmm?"

Martin suddenly opened his eyes and abruptly stood up, a trace of solemnity appearing on his face.

He sensed a terrifying oppressive feeling.

"Respected Master, we've detected a terrifying life fluctuation moving from the Multiverse towards Apokolips! It seems to have been banished by some power!"

Steppenwolf rushed over quickly, reporting with a low growl.

"I understand. This will be a very interesting fellow..."

Martin slowly stood up, and even on his usually nonchalant face, a hint of solemnity appeared.

This life fluctuation, as wild as a flame yet as indifferent as an iceberg, he seemed to have already guessed who it was. Just as he had surmised, a terrifying monster was about to arrive on Apokolips, to challenge his existence as the one who replaced Darkseid.

The Immortal and Indestructible evolving monster, Ancient Doomsday, had arrived!

Chapter 285

Steppenwolf stood respectfully below; at this moment, he still had no idea what Apokolips was about to face.

"It seems to have been banished from Earth-0. Respected Master, I am willing to clear this obstacle for you."

A fierce smile appeared on Steppenwolf's face, and he immediately hefted his giant axe.

At this, Martin was moved. He lowered his gaze in surprise, carefully scrutinizing the fellow for a moment, then said in a deep voice after a brief silence, "Steppenwolf, I am very pleased that you possess such awareness. It seems my decision not to eliminate you earlier was correct. But are you sure? Are you willing to fight on my behalf against this enemy who has offended Apokolips?"

"Of course! In Darkseid's era, I was his second-in-command, leading countless Parademon Army soldiers. Now, I am also willing to be your second-in-command, to clear away all your enemies! Please, allow me to fight!"

Steppenwolf's face was filled with excitement, a fervent glint in his eyes.

Martin immediately understood. This guy was clearly worried about being crushed by him one day, which was why he was performing so diligently. At the same time, he was also interested in the Transformers Martin had created, fearing he not only wanted dominion over the Maximals and Predacons armies, but also desired to glimpse the mysteries of his creations.

Indeed, a useful subordinate. Martin appreciated this kind of self-awareness.

He truly appreciated it.

As for whether this fellow would be beaten to death, that was not something Martin could decide.

"Very good, Steppenwolf, you are exceptional! Your awareness and fighting spirit are both very satisfactory. So, since you are performing so proactively, I am very willing to give you a chance to prove yourself. Go, kill this scum who has invaded Apokolips. If you can accomplish that, I will hand over all of Apokolips' armies to you."

Martin sat upright, exclaiming repeatedly, looking greatly moved.

"It would be my honor to serve you!"

Steppenwolf, invigorated, gripped his giant axe. His tall, imposing figure immediately charged towards the opening Space-Time Tunnel, emanating a terrifying and awe-inspiring killing intent.

Martin quietly watched Steppenwolf's retreating figure, while calling Optimus Primal and Megatron over. He instructed, "That idiot is dead for sure. No matter what happens later, neither of you are to get involved. It's just a suicide mission. I will handle everything."

Optimus Primal and Megatron, whose Chassis had just been repaired, gazed at their Creator with expressions of surprise and incomprehension.

"The enemy is very strong? Multiversal-level?" Optimus Primal's face was solemn.

"More terrifying than simple power levels. How should I put it, this guy is very special. Even if he had the combat power of a Mortal, he would still eventually beat you to death..."

Optimus Primal and Megatron looked bewildered, racking their brains but unable to conceive of such an opponent.

"...Is it a monster like Doomsday?" Megatron, who had just been nearly beaten to death by the New 52 Earth's Doomsday, immediately changed his expression and let out a low growl.

"To be precise, it's the progenitor of all Doomsdays, the ultimate source of all Doomsday variants. All other Doomsdays are merely incomplete versions of this monster."

Martin sat calmly, his face serene as he gazed into the distance.

In the distance, a Space-Time Vortex had already appeared, carrying a sense of Chaos and instability. It was clearly torn open hastily by someone with the sole purpose of banishing Ancient Doomsday to Apokolips.

Undoubtedly, it was Earth-0, or rather, Superman of the Prime Universe's Earth, who did it. That bastard realized he couldn't defeat Ancient Doomsday no matter how he fought, so he simply threw the Abomination onto Apokolips.

"Truly terrible."

Martin sighed deeply.

The massive Space-Time Vortex of Chaos shook the entire planet. All the residents looked up with bewildered expressions, only to see a dark figure smash out of the vortex, crashing onto Apokolips with a loud bang, leaving a deep crater on the surface.

"What is that?"

"Is it a new Transformer our Master brought?"

"No, not really. The chaotic coordinate stream carries a sense of anxiety and urgency. Master Martin surely didn't do this."

The residents of Apokolips were incredibly astonished, especially the scientists, who immediately began their calculations.

Few people considered that it might be an invader, because such a conjecture was too ridiculous. This was Apokolips! The hell planet of the God Domain!

Martin's forceful invasion and killing of Darkseid was already the first such event since the Source Wall was erected. Could another incident occur in such a short time? And even if it truly was an invader, could they defeat Martin?

Don't be silly.

Just then, a booming laugh echoed across the planet, carrying an unparalleled domineering arrogance, and also a subtle sense of exhilaration, as if a burden had been lifted after a long period of suppression.

"It's Lord Steppenwolf!"

"The great God of Slaughter and Conquest!"

Exclamations rang out one after another, and all the residents instantly felt that this situation was under control.

This was the real Steppenwolf. Apokolips' former Singular God, second only to Darkseid. Definitely Multiverse-level!

Dealing with an unknown visitor haphazardly banished to Apokolips would be as effortless as a father disciplining his son.

Steppenwolf flew swiftly amidst his wild laughter, dominance surging around him, filling everyone with confidence. He brandished his giant axe and ferociously charged at the black figure slowly rising.

"No matter what Abomination you are, daring to trespass on my Apokolips, you will leave your life behind!"

Steppenwolf sneered, overpowering in his might, and immediately brought his axe down with immense force!

Chapter 286

The terrifying giant axe ruthlessly cleaved towards the black entity.

Rip!

With a loud crash, Multiverse-level terrifying power erupted. This strike, delivered with full might, immediately cleaved the unknown entity into two!

"Foolish. How dare you invade Apokolips?"

Steppenwolf sneered, watching the entity, believing it had been killed by his terrifying Divine Power. The dissipated Divine Power would surely erase this black creature from cell to Soul.

But the next moment, Steppenwolf froze, a look of surprise on his face.

He saw the black creature, which should have been utterly dead, immediately rise again, appearing completely unaffected. From its damaged sections, flesh immediately regenerated and knitted back together.

"A Doomsday? How is this possible?"

Steppenwolf was startled. His many Avatars had invaded numerous worlds, so he naturally knew about Bio-Weapons like Doomsday. But… how could it be so strange, unkillable?

Roar!

A terrifying roar erupted.

The restored Ancient Doomsday immediately repaired itself. In an instant, numerous bone spikes grew from within its body, forming a terrifying armor on its surface. At the same time, the monster immediately unleashed a completely new power, its Life Level experiencing a terrifying surge!

"Die!"
