Chapter 294

Chapter 286: You're Drunk

Author: Great Demon Spirit

A cool breeze was blowing. It was a pleasant time of year.

The sweet grass swayed gently, and leaves rustled, dancing in the cool breeze.

Tony stood on the balcony, listening to the laughter behind him, silently contemplating the view.

There was no need to worry about the security of tony's Manor. This seemingly harmonious place was actually filled with killing machines. On the surface, augmented undying warriors served as ordinary guards, but in every hidden corner, layers upon layers of machines and powerful magic arrays were enough to make any intruder die with regret.

Only here could Tony find a rare moment of peace.

"What are you doing here?"

A clear voice came from behind. Clad in fiery red, Wanda walked over. She seemed to have had a few drinks, her steps slightly unsteady. Her already alluring face was flushed even redder, making her look incredibly tempting.

The lights from the lawn were dim and bewitching.

The night was seductive.

A bright, round moon hung high in the sky.

"Just thinking about some things. You know, the Sorcerer Supreme is a busy man, with a pile of crap waiting for him."

Tony said self-deprecatingly, his eyes on the moon as he casually answered Wanda, his mind recalling his past with the Old Bartender.

Suddenly, Tony was struck by the realization that he was becoming like an old man, always reminiscing about the past.

At the same time, Tony was also silently thinking about the Inhumans living on the moon and their Level Seven leader, Black Bolt. He thought of the even more distant Mars, also inhabited by powerful Martians.

And of the even more remote moon of Saturn, Titan, which had already been slaughtered into a wasteland by Thanos.

The palm-sized Solar System was already this lively. What about the entire Universe?

What about the entire Multiverse? The Sphere of the Gods, vaster than the Multiverse? And what about the even more distant places, more bizarre and unpredictable than the Sphere of the Gods?

Whenever he looked up at the sky, the seemingly brilliant yet brutally cold, dark starry expanse inexplicably exerted a certain pressure.

Ordinary people would only gaze at the sky with appreciation and ease, but those who knew more were destined to bear a greater burden.

Tony had the Mind Stone and could seize the Space Stone from S.H.I.E.L.D. at any moment. He was also silently waiting for Loki, that little fortune-bringer, to deliver the Mind Stone to him.

If a Level Seven being arrived, Tony was confident he could put up a fight and even win. But against a Level Eight, he would be helpless.

The worst-case scenario was to have The Flash travel through time, creating a Flashpoint Universe to alter reality. This was the plan of last resort, as it would likely turn this world into a false Flashpoint Universe, in constant danger of collapse.

But facing a Unique Level Eight being, the sense of powerlessness was suffocating.

All methods would be useless.

"Is it that Mr. Mxyzptlk? Did he threaten you?" Wanda's face was flushed, her eyes hazy and intoxicating.

"No, it has nothing to do with him. In fact, of all the enemies I'd least like to face, Mr. Mxyzptlk is the easiest to get along with. As long as you find the right method, he's the easiest to deal with..."

Tony smiled and shook his head, casting the chaotic thoughts from his mind. He turned to look at Wanda.

Even though he saw her often, at this moment, he couldn't help but be stunned by her beauty.

Especially when this sexy and charming young woman's eyes were hazy from drink.

She really seemed to have had too much to drink. One shoulder was bare, revealing fair skin, and the collar of her dress had been unconsciously pulled down slightly, exposing more of the snowy white of her chest.

Wanda struggled to keep her eyes open, her face growing even redder. "But you always look so worried, not like before."

"People change. Even the most stubborn person will change after going through too much." Tony watched Wanda quietly, leaning casually against the railing, a smile playing on his lips.

Wanda stood there, looking at this young Guardian of Earth. On his strong-jawed, resolute face, his sword-like gaze had regained its spirit, now holding a captivating intensity.

Tony had always possessed this kind of spirit, perhaps without even realizing it himself, but it had undoubtedly vanished recently.

At least, Wanda hadn't seen the side of him she was familiar with.

But at this moment, she saw it. Her smile gradually widened. Her alluring red lips seemed to exude a certain fragrance, stirring a sense of restlessness in one's heart.

"Why not drink with them?" Tony asked, producing a bottle of brandy and two exquisite glasses from behind his back as if by magic.

The glasses were not large, having a long, narrow shape.

This type of glass could hold a surprising amount of liquor, especially 43% alcohol brandy. One glass would be more than enough to overwhelm someone not used to drinking.

A mischievous smile appeared on Tony's face. "Want to have a drink with me?"

"And if I say no?" Wanda's eyes brightened.

"Then I'll drink alone. It would just be a shame to waste this brandy I've treasured for so long. You can't buy it in the Outside World."

"Then how did you buy it?"

"Buy it? How could I..." Tony was taken aback for a moment, then swirled the bottle and said with a laugh, "I just helped myself to it. Consider it a small 'revenge' on a certain someone."

At that moment, on the other side of New York City, in Stark Tower.

Tony Stark stared blankly as a hand reached out from one of the Rings of Light, brazenly smashed through the glass with a punch, and took the brandy he had treasured for many years.

"My brandy! That bastard Tony, this isn't over!" Tony let out a pained cry.

His AI Butler, Jarvis, was very diligent. After a quick scan, he reported, "Sir, no signs of an intruder have been detected."

"Shut up, Jarvis, your logic processors are malfunctioning! Next time, I'm adding a new algorithm for you—anyone who takes my things without my permission is a thief! That bastard should be sent to the Gotham City Police Department!"

Tony's heart ached.

Tony, of course, would not have paid any attention to Tony's pained cries. Even if he had heard them, he probably would have let out an even heartier laugh.

The two glasses were slowly filled to the brim. By the time the liquor reached the top, nearly half the bottle of brandy was gone.

Tony took a sip himself while watching Wanda with a teasing gaze, his eyes holding an inscrutable meaning.

"Want a drink?" Tony leaned close to Wanda's ear and asked in a low voice.

His warm breath tickled her, making Wanda's face even more flushed and lovely.

The Scarlet Witch snatched one of the glasses and downed a large mouthful. Tony did the same.

If a connoisseur had been there, they would have jumped up in anger and cursed the two for sacrilegiously wasting such a fine drink. A spirit with such a rich history was not meant to be drunk like this... Chugging it? Who does that?!

Tony tossed away the little bit of liquor left, throwing the glass onto the lawn outside as well. He then roughly snatched the glass from Wanda's hand, placed his lips over the lipstick mark she'd left, and drank the rest.

"Are you drunk?"

"Mmm... a little..."

His tall figure drew near. Tony whispered in the Scarlet Witch's ear, "Drunk? You can't fool me. Your mind is perfectly clear..."

Before Wanda could react, Tony swept her up into his arms in a princess carry, found a room, and roughly kicked the door open.

The Scarlet Witch buried her head deep in his chest. It wasn't just her face; every inch of her skin was filled with shyness, glowing red.

Surprisingly, she offered no resistance to Tony's unreasonable actions, only letting out a kitten-like whimper that only she could hear.

The curtains were slowly drawn, and the lights went out.

The night grew even more seductive.
