Chapter 324

Chapter 316: A Godlike Heavy Blow

2022-10-19 Author: Great Demon Spirit

Thor, in his power burst, did not strike down the enemy as people expected, with the heroic return of a king.

Instead, as time went on, Thor was gradually suppressed by the Destroyer.

In the sky, a giant vortex, nearly a hundred meters in diameter, spun at a frantic pace. At its eye was Thor, utilizing the power of Mjolnir to its utmost.

Roaring divine lightning and divine power mingled, causing large areas of electric fields on Earth to fall into a frenzied state, yet none of this could affect the Destroyer in the slightest.

With every strike, the Destroyer would be sent flying, only to immediately get back up unharmed; every second, immense and terrifying divine lightning and divine power slammed into the Destroyer, yet failed to leave even a scratch on its body.

Its material, surpassing Uru, was truly astonishing.

"Remarkable metal material..." Tony stared intently at the Destroyer.

Adamantium, Vibranium, Uru, Carbonadium – these were the four top metals in the Marvel Universe.

But above these four, there were clearly many other materials with unique properties, such as Surtur's weapons and Odin's Destroyer.

Tony had now set his sights on the Destroyer. If he could uncover even a bit of this super metal's secret, it might greatly assist in building his metal planet.

So, while Thor was being suppressed, and while Dormammu was easily handling Sif and the others, Tony also joined the battle.

Hurricane-like power ripped through everything that entered the battlefield. If an ordinary human were to step in, they would be torn to shreds in an instant.

But when it swept over Tony, it caused no harm, not even a single scratch.

Tony, like a meteor, plunged fiercely into the battlefield, trailing a long, majestic glow.

"You? Thank you." Thor was initially startled, then, seeing it was Tony, he paused and said in a deep voice, sending the Destroyer flying again with a swing of Mjolnir.

It was unclear if he was grateful for Tony's assistance, or for Tony not having claimed Mjolnir for himself,

Or perhaps both.

"This is the Destroyer, a powerful weapon from Asgard with extremely strong defenses. Be careful!" Thor warned.

Tony glanced at him indifferently and nodded, "Understood. Just for that, I won't do anything to your friends, and I won't pursue your unauthorized entry into Earth."

Thor was startled and quickly looked down, discovering that all his companions had been captured by Dormammu. The dense power of darkness had transformed into the strongest cage, trapping them completely.

"Don't worry, I'll release them after the battle," Tony said.

He had made a grand declaration first.

This way, when it came time to seize the Destroyer, it would be easier to shut Thor up.

Tony would never tell Thor that he and Odin had already communicated, and Thor's exile to Earth had been personally approved by Tony.

Tony watched the Destroyer nonchalantly get back up again, almost envisioning Loki's sinister grin behind the scenes.

But only he, Tony, would have the last laugh!

With a thought, the power of the Allspark immediately activated. Invisible, transparent particles were meticulously controlled by Tony, frantically infiltrating the Destroyer.

As a Level 5, Tony could already unleash the power of the Allspark to a formidable degree. With the soul of a demigod, Tony was confident he could corrupt and control all metals in the universe.

The Destroyer was no exception; based solely on its material, it couldn't escape being controlled by the Allspark.

However, the Destroyer Armor's material clearly comprised more than just metal.

"Such powerful divine power, is this... divine power from Odin?" Tony's brows furrowed slightly, finding it somewhat troublesome.

Asgardians possessed a natural talent: the older they grew, the stronger the divine power they accumulated. God-King Odin even had to resort to periods of slumber to reduce the burden of Odin's power on his body, extending his already limited lifespan.

The divine power from the old God-King was terrifying. Tony would need a significant amount of time to gradually corrode and take control, eventually assimilating Odin's power.

He aimed to expand the right to use it from Odin alone, to both Odin and Tony.

"Troublesome. This unique metal material already requires a lot of time for activation, and now I also need to expend considerable effort to assimilate Odin's power."

Tony pondered for a moment. While animating the Destroyer, he simultaneously used the destructive properties of the Allspark to disrupt the Destroyer's power.

The Destroyer's head began to change, spewing out high-temperature energy reaching millions of degrees, which the astonishingly fast Tony dodged. Tony floated in the air, countless energy particles fiercely flowing beneath his feet.

Suddenly, all the energy particles exploded, granting Tony an instantaneous acceleration to twice the speed of sound. A long distance was shortened and closed in what felt like the blink of an eye.

His high-speed movement unleashed a terrifying sonic boom. Centered on Tony, several visible, transparent wave patterns spread out. The temporary energy formed by these sonic booms could easily shatter eardrums and cause prolonged tinnitus.

But this mere level was only a warm-up for a demigod like Tony.

Two black figures, sweeping up terrifying aftershocks of exploding energy, violently collided. One was flesh and blood, the other metal.

But what was astonishing was that Tony firmly held the upper hand. In the instant of their first collision, Tony unleashed a series of heavy punches, delivering an attack with over one hundred tons of force in less than half a second.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The Destroyer was directly sent flying, tumbling rapidly like a shot-down missile. When it hit the ground, it caused a violent explosion, and the earth within several hundred meters suddenly caved in, leaving a massive crater strikingly similar to that of a meteorite impact.

Two indestructible powerhouses battling was like a mythical natural disaster; every move would trigger immense catastrophe. It was fortunate this was in No Man's Land, where few people resided. If it had been a metropolis, a casual energy blast from their brief clash earlier would have annihilated half the city, and millions would have died like ants.

Tony's black robe was tattered, and he ripped it off, revealing powerful, steel-cable-like arms, his bulging muscles like exposed boulders on a mountain, brimming with terrifying power.

His throbbing veins, with every pulse, could unleash a hundred-ton strength index. His nerve reflexes, comparable to light speed, could calculate more terrifying data than any computer on Earth in just a ten-thousandth of a second.

One clash might not have the awe-inspiring weather manipulation of Thor, but anyone with eyes could see how terrifying Tony was, and how formidable his combat power.

Because Tony used no external weapons; the Time Stone on his chest didn't even glow.

He relied on his own body, and simultaneously on the Allspark within his mind, to achieve what outsiders would call a miracle.

Especially Thor, he was momentarily dazed, his face filled with solemnity.

In the past, he had always felt a sense of defiance and slight hostility towards Tony. Thor believed that if Tony, a mortal who rose from obscurity, could achieve such feats, then he, Thor, could not only do it but do it even better.

But seeing Tony's posture, high above and looking down on everything, he had to admit that in some aspects, he indeed couldn't compare to this rapidly rising new guardian.

Tony, with meteor-like speed, crashed towards the ground. Before the Destroyer could get up, Tony was already in front of it, a fierce and fervent emotion in his eyes, and slammed another punch down.

The instantaneous explosive power of this punch reached an astonishing one hundred and fifty tons, further boosted by the Allspark's unrestrained augmentation. It was a punch that surpassed all previous power limits Tony had ever demonstrated, its explosive force shattering the earth.

The Destroyer suffered a heavy blow, its body sinking another dozen meters deeper into the earth, leaving a humanoid depression at the center of the original crater.

"Good stuff, this is the first time I've seen something this good..." Tony was moved. Even when he first encountered the Time Stone, he hadn't been this deeply affected.

For the first time, Tony felt an immense craving for an object.

He yearned to obtain the Destroyer Armor, and even more, to decipher the secrets of the Destroyer's material to continuously produce more Destroyer Armor.
