Chapter 332

Chapter 324: Found you... Tony!

2022-10-19 Author: Great Demon Spirit

On Earth at this moment.

Tony slowly pulled his hand from Mephisto's gore-streaked chest, dragging out large amounts of unidentifiable internal organs and acid-like blood that corroded the earth, leaving an uneven pit in the ground.

"I thought you'd hesitate a bit before acting."

Tony disdainfully flicked the viscous matter from his hand, a constant sizzling sound damaging his skin, but it instantly healed as new.

He cast a surprised glance at the silently bowed... Mordo.

"Hey, you'll regret this..." Mephisto still had one breath left, one side of his face on the ground, the other twisted back unwillingly, his wide yellow eyes glaring intently at Mordo.

On Mephisto's back, a wound was exposed—a scar left by Mordo's sudden magical sneak attack.

"Shut up, he won't regret it, because no matter what he chooses, he is Earth's Sorcerer, not Hell's Sorcerer."

Tony slowly stepped forward. Under Mephisto's humiliated gaze, he lifted his foot, and under the stare of those bloodshot yellow eyes, he fiercely stomped down, then slowly applied more pressure.

*Splurt!*

Just like the Clone that had been eliminated not long ago, he split into pieces like a watermelon.

Mephisto's strongest Clone breathed his last in unwillingness.

"Why bother? If you were still like before, occasionally popping out to trick disheartened people, I'd truly be too lazy to deal with you. But you just had to seek death..."

Tony sighed, unceremoniously tossing the body into a Portal. This was an Archdemon's Clone, a good find.

Counting on his fingers, there's Hulk's, Azazel's, Mephisto's, and the countless unidentified beings from Other Dimensions he'd eliminated since becoming Sorcerer Supreme...

His collectibles were truly abundant. The genes from these were enough to provide Tony with a little inspiration for his CNA research—though it didn't matter if they weren't useful; simply collecting the corpses to ensure some suicidal Earthlings couldn't research anything from them was enough.

Mordo remained silent, extending a hand to harvest all the ground soaked in Mephisto's blood into the Mirror Dimension, leaving no trace behind.

This somewhat stubborn man looked up, his eyes shrouded by his hood, seeming to suddenly shrink from the light. He carefully chose his words before slowly saying, "I'm genuinely starting to suspect that when you first summoned Mephisto to trap Dormammu, you were already preparing for today..."

"You're really overthinking that. Back then, I wanted to enslave Dormammu, then directly team up with Ancient One and Shazam to take out Mephisto's main body. But that guy was too cunning; even when the overall situation was decided, his main body still stubbornly refused to show up, forcing Ancient One to go into Hell." Tony raised an eyebrow, deliberately avoiding Mordo's wavering gaze, looking around as if searching for something. Finally, he rubbed his hand on himself, leaving a grease stain.

As the Sorcerer Supreme, his actions were so crude and unrefined, utterly lacking any Guardian demeanor.

Mordo's eyelids twitched wildly, instinctively wanting to curse him, but the words caught in his throat.

"Alright, come back with me. I don't want to lose a good assistant. You know, Wong never smiles, always wearing a grim face like I owe him money. Stephen gets along with him, but I can't." Tony said, simple and blunt.

Mordo hesitated, then gave a wry smile, "This truly is your style. I thought you'd try to persuade me with words, or even..."

"Or even kill you directly?" Tony shook his head. "Mordo, I hinted to you long ago that Ancient One had issues, and I even specifically talked to you about the Power of Darkness, but you subconsciously avoided it. If you had truly chosen to help Mephisto, I wouldn't have been angry, only disappointed. Fortunately, you didn't do that, and your actions were even more decisive than I expected."

Tony praised him lavishly.

Just moments ago, he had secretly discussed with Mephisto in front of Mordo, and the two had immediately signed a secret contract.

And the moment Tony signed it, Mordo suddenly made his move.

Mordo paused, "I know your temperament. You're absolutely capable of making deals with demons, but I'm more inclined to believe you have a deeper plan, just as you enslaved Dormammu."

"Hahaha, perhaps this is where I differ from Ancient One. If someone like me were to lose a qualified supervisor, would you truly feel at ease? Wouldn't you worry about an unreliable guy like me ruining Earth?" Tony chuckled, clapping his hands.

Before Mordo could hesitate, Tony instantly moved to his side, placing a hand directly on Mordo's shoulder. "You know my temper. Today, you *must* come back with me. Everything that happened before, I don't care about it. Even I'm a guy who deals with demons, even more of a bastard than Con. What's a little thing you did? I told you everything I needed to say long ago; you just didn't think it through, don't blame me."

A golden Spark Portal opened, and Tony, pulling a wry and guilty Mordo, stepped inside.

Just as Tony said, he didn't care what Mordo was thinking now. The important thing was that Tony didn't care about these things, and that was enough.

More importantly, some of the ideas Tony had always instilled in him played a role at this critical time. Before Mordo could fall into deeper mental conflict, Tony directly interrupted him and forcibly dragged him back to Kamar-Taj.

As long as Mordo was in Kamar-Taj, he wouldn't be able to escape.

They just needed to wait for Ancient One to return, explain everything clearly, and everything would return to normal.

...

In Hell, Ancient One moved stealthily, concealing her tracks and sneaking through the harsh environment.

She was extremely cautious, even avoiding the ubiquitous Hell Worms as she moved towards a certain location.

It was a sealed, ring-shaped volcanic mountain range, entirely red, with massive amounts of lava constantly erupting from the ground, covering layers of cooled lava.

The entire mountain range was composed of piles of lava, a common sight in Hell, with far more spectacular examples everywhere.

Few beings liked to stay in such a small place—powerful demons bathed in tens of thousands of miles of lava, while weaker ones lived hand-to-mouth, figuring out how to devour others to strengthen themselves, with no time to study a common lava mountain.

On this day, Ancient One arrived here. She cleared a path with magic, silently eroding the lava ahead, and went deeper. Finally, she arrived at an extremely narrow and hidden cave.

Ancient One looked at the gaunt figure sitting peacefully in the cave, a faint smile on her face, "Found you... Tony!"

The gaunt figure's eyes snapped open. His emaciated body, reduced to skin and bones, looked as if a gust of wind could knock him over, but his eyes radiated a bone-chilling coldness, and a hint of... surprise.

"You shouldn't be here, Ancient One. If I were you, I'd play dumb or achieve my goals through other means." Slim coughed twice, standing up with some effort. His face, which should have been cynical and sleazy, was utterly placid. Only those eyes, radiating killing intent, shone exceptionally brightly in the dark cave.

"You really do know me..." Ancient One said in a gentle voice.

"Is it hard to know you? There are countless versions of you in the Multiverse; even the current you is just one of the most ordinary. I've killed many, and you're no exception."

Slim extended his right hand and slowly rotated it. A black, black hole-like sheen flashed for an instant. A terrifying pressure, as if the sky were collapsing, suddenly erupted from Slim's hand, forming a stark contrast with Slim himself, who appeared fragile and on the verge of collapse.

"In this world, powerhouses die, the weak die more easily, but those most likely to die are arrogant idiots like you, regardless of strength or weakness."

As Slim's words fell, a dark glow burst forth. In the already pitch-black cave, it eerily illuminated the darkness with blackness.

The indescribable glow, more terrifying than a black hole, devoured everything in its sight.
