Chapter 333

Chapter 325: It Was Purely an Accident...

The gaunt, skinny fellow slowly rose to his feet. His body, which looked as if a gust of wind could blow it over, was filled with a withered aura. There was no mystic energy, no divine power, nor any other form of energy.

The only thing there was the tightly clenched fist, from which an unsettling Black Light seeped through the gaps between his fingers.

It seemed Slim possessed not a single shred of power himself. He was just an ordinary human; everything about him came from that Black Light.

Unlike Annihilation, this Black Light exuded a heart-pounding, crushing pressure.

But strangely, this pressure didn't stem from a disparity in power. Rather, it was an indescribable sense of being looked down upon. It was as if, in that instant, the Ancient One had become some sort of illusory construct, suddenly blurring before the real Slim.

"This thing is..." The Ancient One raised her right hand and waved it slowly in front of her. A powerful surge of mystic energy blocked the corrosion and influence of the Black Light.

The unsettling and chilling light seemed alive, possessing an independent consciousness as it coiled tightly around Slim's body. Every point of contact between the light and his skin caused a dramatic change. The skin tainted by the Black Light turned incomparably dark, yet at the same time, it exuded an aura of transcendence.

An aura utterly incompatible with all beings of the Multiverse.

It originated from a Singularity, yet it was different from an ordinary Singularity. Its level seemed far higher, forcing many beings of Singularity to look up in awe.

The Ancient One's expression grew solemn. The face of this powerful Sorcerer Supreme shifted subtly. "I did not come here to fight you."

"Does that matter?" Slim's clenched fist shot forward, a beam of Black Light firing directly at the Ancient One. "You're going to die here anyway."

The Ancient One's expression changed slightly as she threw out a mirror-like barrier. The indestructible, translucent crystal shield met the Black Light head-on.

But the moment they made contact, the crystal barrier shattered instantly, like a bubble floating on water—seemingly full but popping at the slightest touch.

The inconspicuous Black Light easily pierced through the defensive magic the Sorcerer Supreme was so proud of and charged straight ahead. Its all-devouring blackness sent a chill through one's very core.

The Ancient One continuously thrust her palms forward, conjuring several powerful spells that rushed toward the Black Light one after another, only to be swiftly extinguished. The suppression from a higher level of existence was terrifying.

Using that momentary delay, the Ancient One barely managed to dodge, but the Black Light still grazed her, tearing away a large chunk of flesh and a small piece of bone from her right arm.

Blood gushed out.

"How disappointing, Ancient One. As the Sorcerer Supreme of the Prime Universe, I didn't expect you to be even more fragile than many of your counterparts from Other Universes."

Slim casually swung his arm. His withered body was gradually being covered by black, becoming incredibly deep and terrifying.

"I've actually been suspecting your identity... or rather, Tony's identity."

The Ancient One frowned but quickly relaxed her expression. She raised her left hand, stopping the bleeding on her right arm and healing it in an instant.

"It's just as I suspected. You are Tony, but you are not Tony."

The Ancient One slammed both hands onto the ground. Her mystic energy, like a raging ocean, instantly transformed into a viscous torrent of magic. Like a dancing lightning bolt, it crossed space in a single nanosecond, carrying the rage of a Sorcerer Supreme as it crashed into this "Tony."

A terrifying Black Light began to gleam in "Tony's" eyes as well, and his tightly clenched right fist turned pitch-black. That unknown substance was transforming his body at an astonishing rate.

His right hand flared with light once more, using black to dispel the darkness. A substantive mass of black radiance surged forth, blocking the Ancient One's powerful spell.

The collision of two completely different types of power created a massive tremor. The active volcano beneath their feet was utterly incapable of withstanding such force and began to collapse immediately.

The agitated lava no longer flowed slowly as before but became incredibly violent. The continent beneath them seemed to have suddenly turned into a crater, shaking continuously. A massive amount of molten rock, in its liquid state, covered everything in the blink of an eye like a red ocean.

Distinct rifts also appeared in space, but they healed quickly.

Countless weaker lifeforms watched from afar, trembling. As creatures of Hell, they knew just how terrifying this clash was.

Realms in the Sphere of the Gods are primarily characterized by their stable Time-Space. As a top-tier realm, Hell's spatial stability is even more formidable, yet now, distinct rifts had appeared.

"Great demons are fighting! Run!"

A small demon shrieked and fled in a panic. But the next second, another energy wave swept over, devouring him and billions of other lives. Not even their souls escaped.

That pitch-black light consumed everything. Time, space, and soul could not stop this seemingly harmless Black Light.

Two figures shot into the sky, standing at an altitude of 100,000 meters, ignoring the terrifying hurricane and thunder.

The gaunt, skinny man's face remained unchanged, but the Ancient One's expression was not so good.

"Since you possess this kind of power, why did you go through the trouble of setting up such a complicated scheme?" the Ancient One panted rapidly.

She didn't know what that Black Light was, but its unique essence couldn't be faked.

This "Tony" also possessed an item of Singularity, and an even more terrifying one at that.

But what was that power? The mysterious Anti-Life Equation? Or some unknown energy from the Dark Multiverse?

"You know, another Ancient One asked me something similar. I told her, but it was useless. She forgot the moment she got the answer and then repeated the same question to me—'Why are you doing this? It's completely unnecessary for you.'"

"I explained it again, but she still forgot and continued to ask me the same question." Tony looked down at his right hand, the corners of his mouth curling up. A flicker of emotion, the only one present, danced in his dark pupils.

"Then, I got tired of the trouble and killed her."

His words were light and casual, as if he were describing something simple, as easy as squashing an ant.

The Ancient One's brow furrowed even deeper, her eyes filled with doubt.

This situation was simply unheard of.

She was the Sorcerer Supreme of the Prime Universe. No matter how strong her counterparts in Parallel Universes were, their power should be limited compared to hers. And yet... something like this had still happened.

"You know what I'm asking you, Tony—if I may call you that for now." The Ancient One paused. "You know what I'm asking. There are now two special Tonys, two completely different Tonys. Gene, cells, soul, appearance—two Tonys who are completely different."

"Tony" fell silent for a moment before murmuring a single sentence, "That... was purely an accident..."
