Chapter 414

Chapter 404: Nuclear Bomb

Sea King Orm, wielding his Trident, unleashed a torrent of magic power as turbulent as a tsunami. It surged from the Trident, howling in every direction. The piercing arcs of electricity were more terrifying than the thunder and lightning in the storm clouds above.

That seemingly endless wave of magic power, that source of magic so terrifying it could suffocate ninety-nine percent of the sorcerers on Earth, stood atop a massive wave, looking down upon the battlefield like a deity.

The new Sea King, for the first time, had descended upon the world above the sea. He would reshape the rules of the surface dwellers as a conqueror!

"What foul air. How have these air-breathers survived until now..."

Sea King Orm emotionlessly surveyed everything below. Blue bolts of electricity rose from beneath his feet, twisting and writhing like savage serpents, roaring at the world around him.

On the chaotic battlefield, the Atlantean warriors paused for a moment, as if wanting to hail their king.

And they were about to do just that.

But the Transformers weren't buying it. They had received no order to stop, and their slaughter only became more gleeful, their attacks more ferocious.

In just a few seconds, the Atlantean side was thrown into another round of chaos.

The Sea King had made his grand entrance, and he was expecting the battlefield to fall silent so that all could bask in his majesty. Perhaps he would even show extra mercy and permit these creatures to surrender to his noble self.

But as he watched the metal constructs striking faster and more fiercely, even one as powerful as Orm couldn't help but pause.

Something... didn't seem right here.

A vicious glint appeared in Orm's eyes. He tightened his grip on the Trident, about to unleash his power to annihilate these metal constructs. Suddenly, a figure shot up like a darting fish, its speed so great it became a blur as it lunged straight for Orm.

Orm sneered. He gathered his magic power and blasted out a massive discharge of electricity, sending the figure flying.

"My dear brother, you've finally come."

Orm smirked, no longer paying attention to the Transformers. A rare trace of delight appeared in his violent eyes.

It was a genuine delight, as if seeing his brother brought him great pleasure.

Arthur, the child born from the union of the old Sea King and a human, had spent years living among the fishermen on the coast, steadfastly refusing to return to Atlantis.

"I have been waiting for you. Let us join forces and conquer the surface dwellers!" Orm roared with laughter.

Arthur, with his messy, long hair, had a powerful build. His skin was covered in fine, evenly distributed bumps.

"Enough, Orm! You're starting a war! This will plunge both worlds into conflict! And why are you holding the Trident? Where is Namor? Where is Mother?" Arthur growled, his voice coarse, his gray eyes already filled with rage.

"Mother? You dare speak of Mother? Your consorting with humans has brought her nothing but shame! As for Namor? That bastard stood in my way of becoming king, so I killed him." Orm's eyes were slightly bloodshot.

"You actually... Even if you win, what will you gain? A world in ruins?" Arthur's eyes widened as he stared at his younger brother in disbelief, roaring with his head thrown back.

Orm's smile gradually faded. He said coldly, "There you go again. Why do you always speak to me from the surface dwellers' perspective? Don't forget, you are an Atlantean! Not like these air-breathers!"

"Mother would be disappointed in you too, because you have betrayed our people!"

"Arthur, you are not worthy of being a member of Atlantis! Allow me—Sea King Orm—to punish you, you sinner!"

Orm roared, and the moment the words left his mouth, he was sent flying by a blast of heat vision.

Clark had arrived. He stared coldly at Orm, his usually gentle eyes now filled with a rare, deep rage. His large red cape whipped violently in the wind and rain.

Diana, in full armor, had also left her people to rush over. She demanded sternly, "Orm, what in the world are you trying to do!"

Orm was completely unharmed, but the magic power fluctuations around him grew even more astonishing.

"Are you the king of the surface dwellers?" Orm stared at Clark, feeling a unique pressure. "According to the rules of kings, I have the right to kill you."

"A king? That thing... I would be delighted for the opportunity to kill one."

Megatron suddenly charged out from the battlefield. With a swing of his greatsword, he sliced more than ten men in half at the waist. Laughing under his breath, he leaped up and brought the sword down on Orm.

Before the massive heavy sword, Orm was like an ant.

Electricity flashed. One bolt knocked the greatsword aside, while a second blasted toward Megatron.

Megatron's optics flared. In his haste, he turned the greatsword sideways, barely managing to block the incoming blast of mystic electricity. But the immense force sent him flying, and the current of a hundred million volts it carried damaged Megatron's body.

Sea King Orm, standing on the ocean and holding the Trident, possessed the strength to single-handedly fight the seven founding members of the Justice League for a short time.

Diana drew her Godkiller Sword and charged forward ferociously. In a few leaps, she crossed a hundred meters and swung her sword down, but she was kicked away by the faster and stronger Orm.

Superman suddenly descended from the sky, clad in his blue battle suit, the "S" insignia displayed for the first time on an Earth battlefield.

The previously nonchalant Orm was sent flying by a punch from the vastly more powerful Superman. He skidded for over forty meters across the almost solid surface of the water before coming to a stop.

Megatron looked at Orm with a grim expression. That earlier probe had shown him he was no match.

Perhaps only by awakening the Primes could he face this guy head-on.

Megatron raised his right arm, aimed his cannon, and fired an energy blast of ten thousand degrees. The thick beam of energy shot toward Orm, colliding with a timely bolt of electricity. The two attacks exploded on impact, kicking up a massive wave.

Many soldiers from both sides were caught in the blast and instantly blown to smithereens.

"Because of you, millions have died!" Clark's face twitched as he looked at the severed limbs. His expression was terrifyingly dark as he roared.

"Millions? Is that a lot?" Orm replied with a cold laugh.

Clark was beyond furious. His eyes turned red and heat vision erupted, but it was blocked by Orm's layer of magic power.

Wielding the Trident and standing upon the sea, Orm commanded the power of the entire ocean.

Unless he could be dragged onto land or into the air, he was a god, the God of the Ocean!

Arthur, his eyes red, quickly spoke to Clark, Megatron, and the others. "Stop! This will only make things worse! According to the rules of Atlantis, what you're doing is..."

"Worse?" Megatron stood up, his voice cold. "How many humans have died already? Can it get any worse than this?"

Arthur quickly explained, "He can control all the oceans of the world! He can submerge the entire surface world!"

Megatron sneered, noncommittal.

He had no connection to other humans. Frankly, if it weren't for their many important bases on Earth, they wouldn't be fighting so hard.

They only listened to Tony; they were even reluctant to listen to Wanda.

Megatron said indifferently, "Since Atlantis is so dangerous..."

Before Arthur could react, Megatron glanced back at Shockwave in the distance and said coldly, "Then we'll just destroy all of Atlantis."

"The era of Atlantis is over!"

The countdown on the screen finally reached zero.

From a military base, thirty nuclear bombs slowly ascended, leaving long, eerie trails in the sky as they spread the aura of death.
