Chapter 415

Chapter 405: "You will regret this!!!"

2022-10-19 Author: Great Demon Spirit

"A nuclear blast..."

Shockwave stood at the edge of the base, his single eye flickering continuously as a vast amount of data flowed through his Central Processor.

He had never truly witnessed a nuclear blast before; this was the perfect opportunity to collect data.

As for the consequences? Radiation, tsunamis, and the like were nothing compared to the current global crisis.

And Shockwave didn't care.

He was well aware that the forces currently on Earth could definitely defeat Orm, but it would waste a lot of time.

New York City couldn't hold out for much longer, and Scarlet Witch would soon exhaust her magical power and have to leave. Moreover, according to intel gathered by Soundwave, Wanda's condition was very unstable; it seemed she had provoked the very source of Chaos Magic.

Shockwave had also received reports from other bases. Several Transformer bases had already been submerged by the ocean and were in a precarious situation. The Transformers stationed at these bases had no choice but to prematurely awaken the dormant warriors in the incubation chambers.

Taking their final reserves of super energon crystals, they were now rushing over from all corners of the world. And this, too, was Shockwave's command.

In Shockwave's cold Central Processor, there were never thoughts of "enslavement" like Starscream's. No matter how good the Atlantean warriors were, they could never compare to the loyalty, strength, and fearlessness of the cannon fodder they manufactured.

The factors limiting the Transformers' ability to mass-produce troops were, one, energy, and two, various mineral resources. As long as these two problems were solved, they could crush any enemy of the same level with sheer numbers.

"After this battle, the world's oceans will become nothing more than a trivial resource supply zone for Cybertron."

Shockwave watched the battlefield coldly. Then, after exchanging a look with Megatron, he turned and left without another word.

He trusted that Megatron would understand.

At the center of the battlefield, several people were still besieging Orm. But before Orm, who wielded immense magical power, they were still being suppressed.

Orm's magical power was endless; the oceans of the entire world were his backup.

Megatron slashed out, striking the trident head-on. But this immense power was still nothing before Orm. He possessed the power of the entire ocean; forget Megatron, even Superman's strength of millions of tons could be dissipated into the sea by Orm.

Orm took Megatron's blow directly, his expression blank. His body didn't even sway.

Clark glanced at the hulking Megatron with some surprise. This being's power was much greater than he had imagined... at least, it was far greater than that Starscream from before.

Megatron raised his greatsword and retreated abruptly. After blocking another casual attack from Orm, the greatsword was completely shattered. Various parts of his Type IV chassis cried out in agony as numerous internal circuits were destroyed by the increasingly intense electrical current.

Even the efficiency of his energy transmission began to fail.

Megatron's expression was incredibly grim, and he gritted his teeth. He, who would never admit defeat, found his heart consumed by rage and desire.

Megatron craved power, but never with such intensity as now.

"This is a demigod?"

Megatron silently watched Orm, who was like a deity. Arcs of lightning shot out in all directions, blue light dominating everything. Terrifying currents of magical power were everywhere.

The gap was too great, so vast that it felt as if Megatron's pride was being devoured by thousands of maggots.

He was only holding on by relying on his powerful body. Had it been any other Level Four individual, they would have been killed by Orm long ago.

For example, Professor X had tried to interfere with Orm right from the start, but it was completely ineffective; Professor X was even injured in the attempt.

A demigod was a demigod because their life tier had begun its first ascension, progressing towards the level of a true god.

A demigod is the boundary between mortal and deity.

What's more, the Orm of this moment was like a celestial descending to the mortal world, taking on a whole group by himself.

Arthur finally couldn't take it anymore. With a roar, he took advantage of the moment Clark and Diana were paralyzed by Orm's mystic lightning and charged forward.

The blood of the Sea King flowed through his veins!

To him, the seawater was also a source of immense power!

A single punch landed viciously on Orm's face, knocking the cowl from his head and revealing a handsome face.

It was just that this face was entangled with the countless lost souls of the surface world.

"My brother, do you know what it means to strike me?" Orm said faintly.

"I do! I will now formally contend for the throne of the Sea King!" Arthur roared in the rain, his gray eyes filled with determination.

Orm's lips curled into a smirk as he said irritably, "I'm very glad you've acknowledged your identity as a man of the underwater realm. In that case, prepare to die! I'll send you to meet Namor!"

Orm's face was ferocious. He raised the trident and thrust it viciously at Arthur, but Arthur grabbed it desperately, letting out an agonized howl as he endured the corrosive lightning.

Taking advantage of the chaotic battle, Megatron took one last look at the battlefield. His face was indifferent, devoid of any negative emotion, but the ambition in his eyes could not be erased.

"The Primes are still dormant, and I don't know when they'll awaken. As for Primus... I don't know when he'll return..."

Megatron transformed into his jet mode and immediately broke the sound barrier as he flew away. A few seconds later, the noise of his departure finally reached his previous position.

He needed to find a way to become stronger, whether by improving his chassis or by absorbing higher-level energy.

Besides, it was time for him to leave.

Shockwave had already retreated. All that remained here was a group of low-level Transformers still fighting the people of the underwater realm.

The retreat signal was given. The Transformers who received the order immediately ceased fighting and retreated. Although it was inevitable that some would be hunted down and killed by frenzied Atlantean warriors, most managed to pull back.

Approximately one thousand Transformers ultimately withdrew from the battlefield.

Presumably, before long, a few talented individuals would emerge from among these Transformers who had walked the line between life and death.

Starscream, who had been hiding furtively the whole time, decisively rushed to catch up with Megatron. "Lord Megatron, where are we going now?" he asked.

"To watch the show," Megatron said coldly, accelerating again and leaving Starscream far behind.

Starscream was helpless and could only struggle to keep up.

It was just that in his heart, his resentment and wariness towards Shockwave had grown even stronger.

Thirty nuclear missiles had arrived. Those on the battlefield could even see the trajectories of the missiles.

The people of Atlantis didn't understand what they were, but Clark, Diana, and the others knew very well.

Especially Arthur. His face was deathly pale, completely drained of color.

He had spent most of his life among humans; he couldn't be more familiar with their society.

"If those things explode in Atlantis..."

Arthur's eyes were bloodshot, and the faint glint of tears could be seen. He stared blankly at the sky, his noble face a mask of anguish and despair.

"No—you'll regret this! This will only push things to a point of no return!!!"
