Chapter 460

Chapter 447: Ancient Doomsday!!!

"You've got to be kidding. How could there be anything in the Blood Realm?"

After their initial shock, the Watchers shook their heads and laughed.

Their race understood the dangers of the Blood Realm better than anyone. Their people's work and hobby was observing and recording all sorts of changes, so compared to others, they had far more dealings with the Blood Realm.

They were second only to the Monitor race, who were adept at drawing energy from the Blood Realm.

"It's probably a malfunction in one of the energy engines. To think it could cause the entire warship to shake."

A Watcher immediately stood up, walked over to the control console, and began tapping away.

The other Watchers relaxed and went back to drinking their beverages and chatting.

"Something in the Blood Realm? Don't be ridiculous, this is the Blood Realm!"

The scope of the Blood Realm was far vaster than the combined area of countless universes! Even if there really was something out there, the chances of them running into it were akin to stepping outside and finding a one-of-a-kind item.

As the natural chasm separating one universe from another, the Blood Realm itself was also a massive graveyard, having strangled countless reckless and arrogant powerhouses over the long eons.

Countless genius powerhouses from innumerable universes, thinking they had conquered their own universe, had rashly charged into the Blood Realm to explore, only to be trapped by the endless viscous energy and brutally crushed into pieces.

The most reliable method of inter-universal travel was to construct a portal directly. Trying to traverse the Blood Realm was far too difficult and extremely dangerous.

"Hey, did you find anything? Which part of the warship is malfunctioning?" someone shouted.

"The warship has been breached... Something got in!"

"Dammit, it's incredibly fast!!! It's coming this way...!"

CRASH!!!

Another deafening crash! The entire warship was like a small boat in a tempest, lurching violently. The intense tremors made the hair on every Watcher's body stand on end.

"There's really something out there?"

"Probably some fool that stumbled into the Blood Realm and got lucky enough to find our warship."

"No!!! The enemy is..."

ROAR!!!

A low roar that shook the very soul, carrying an indescribable, bone-chilling ferocity. It was like the cry of some apex predator, sending a shiver of cold through every Watcher present.

A five-meter-tall figure smashed its way through, easily tearing through the super warship that the Watchers were so proud of. The super-alloys and the warship's internal defense systems were like paper-mâché before the visitor, shattering with the slightest touch.

Numerous powerful weapons bombarded the intruder, but at most, they only produced puffs of white smoke before being smashed to pieces.

Its aura was like that of an ancient beast, carrying a sense of antiquity completely different from the current era. This five-meter-tall humanoid monster let out periodic roars as if venting its rage. Each cry was comparable to the energy released by countless anti-matter bombs, effortlessly destroying large sections of the warship's structure.

Every roar inflicted widespread devastation.

Within a ten-thousand-meter radius of its outburst, terrifying golden-yellow energy waves permeated the area. Visible to the naked eye, they could directly cause destruction at the soul-particle level.

This fearsome monster made a beeline for the main control room.

The Watchers all jumped to their feet, many with looks of confusion still on their faces. A few unlucky ones had spilled their drinks on their heads during the tremors.

"Doomsday! We've run into Doomsday!!!"

The Watcher at the helm of the warship was terrified.

"What? That thing the Kryptonians researched? Which universe's Kryptonians were so careless as to dump this thing into the Blood Realm!"

The Watchers were knowledgeable and well-traveled; someone immediately cursed angrily.

Although this sudden incident was alarming, it was still within a controllable range. Such was the confidence of the Watchers.

At worst, they could just take the escape pods and flee.

On the monitor, Doomsday's figure had just appeared when the main control room's doors were sent flying by a single punch, and the five-meter-tall, deformed monster charged in.

It was a misshapen behemoth.

Beneath its grayish skin were explosive muscles, its physique even more absurdly exaggerated than the Hulk's. Each massive muscle group contained the power to destroy a universe.

The most terrifying part was that large portions of this Doomsday's body were covered in a layer of what looked like bone spurs, like a newly grown, alternative skin, with each spur lying diagonally against its body.

The translucent, keratinous layer was slightly cloudy and pulsed with a fearsome energy wave.

Looking up, Doomsday's face had flat features, as if they had been pressed sideways by some external force. It lacked distinctiveness, yet was incredibly hideous.

The Watchers froze for a moment. Before they could even launch a counterattack, the Watcher piloting the warship collapsed weakly to the floor, his face pale.

"Energy readings are off the charts! It's Ancient Doomsday... He's Ancient Doomsday!!!" His scream, like the squawk of a drake, cracked on the spot—shrill, piercing, and filled with immense fear and despair.

"Ancient Doomsday?" Some of the Watchers lacked the necessary knowledge and didn't immediately grasp the situation.

It was just Doomsday. Though powerful and famous, with this kind of thing popping up in many universes, it was no reason to lose one's composure like this, was it?

No one had time to react, because this Doomsday was already upon them.

ROAR!

One punch. This unbelievably powerful Doomsday threw just a single punch, and all the Watchers on the warship were instantly turned into meat paste.

There were no fancy moves, just a single fist.

With one punch, the renowned Watchers were completely wiped out.

Those who didn't understand what "Ancient Doomsday" meant no longer had the chance to find out. They couldn't even withstand a single blow before they died.

After a moment of silence, the entire warship seemed to finally react. A low hum emanated from it, followed by the screech of metal. It began to break apart section by section, and then, with this Doomsday at its center, it was torn in two.

The massive, planet-sized warship had been smashed in half by an ordinary punch.

This monster left the warship and stood in the Blood Realm in its flesh-and-blood body. The terrifying, viscous energy surged toward it, trying to bind and kill it.

But the Blood Realm's energy, which made even the Watchers pale with fear, was completely ineffective against this monster. It clung to its skin and bone spurs without causing the slightest harm.

The monster seemed to grow impatient. Its muscles tensed, and the surrounding energy immediately roiled. He stared in the direction of the Prime Universe, his small eyes—relative to his head—filled with an intense, greedy expression.

It seemed something in that place was attracting him.

With another low roar, the monster moved. It traveled through the endless Blood Realm with ease, its speed surpassing that of the Watchers' warship!

Like an unstoppable blade!

He was Ancient Doomsday!

The strongest bio-weapon ever born in the multiverse, bar none!
