Chapter 461

Chapter 448: Wa Tu's Warning

Prime Universe, Solar System, Moon.

Wa Tu, who was responsible for observing the Milky Way Galaxy sector, was, as always, enjoying the recording he made of the battle between Trigon and Tony, completely engrossed.

This was a hobby of his Watcher race: observing and recording all sorts of major events. The more incredible, the more valuable.

And what major event could be more valuable than the arrogant Trigon suffering a setback?

The powerful and invincible Trigon had actually been bested by a multiversal being, unable to even escape!

Although it was only a clone that died, it was still astonishing enough. If this news were to spread back to the Sphere of the Gods, it would undoubtedly cause a massive sensation.

"Hehehe, Trigon has another black mark on his record, and this history is being recorded and preserved by me, Wa Tu."

Just thinking about this filled Wa Tu with delight. He even poured himself an extra glass of his usual drink as a reward. Although he still hadn't figured out how the battle had unfolded, he had plenty of time to study it.

Deep down, Wa Tu harbored an astonishing guess, but it was too ridiculous and bizarre. But what if it were true? Wouldn't he be able to personally witness the rise of a great being?

Just as Wa Tu was feeling pleased with himself, a signal flashed on his instrument—a signal used only internally among the Watcher race.

"Huh?" Wa Tu opened the instrument, thinking it was those fleeing fellow Watchers coming to him to ask for the recording.

Don't even think about it!

This was something he, Wa Tu, had risked his life for!

Wa Tu's sense of smug pride swelled, and he decided to refuse his fellows' pleas.

"Should I make them wait a hundred million years, or a billion?" Wa Tu thought gleefully. Then, with a thick sense of pride and psychological superiority, he looked at the screen.

At first glance, his expression changed completely.

It was the figure of a tall monster, and then the screen abruptly cut out. Only the screams of his fellows could be heard before they came to a sudden stop.

"It's Ancient Doomsday… He is Ancient Doomsday!!!"

A voice, severely distorted and filled with despair and infinite fear, came from the instrument.

"This... What's wrong? What on earth happened?"

Wa Tu stared blankly at the dark screen, confusion flashing through his mind for a moment. But then, fear surged into his heart, and he shuddered violently.

"Doomsday? Ancient Doomsday is here?!"

Wa Tu's face turned deathly pale. He knew very well that Doomsday and Ancient Doomsday were two different concepts.

A creature like Doomsday could potentially be born in any universe where Kryptonians exist. Looking across the multiverse, the number of Doomsdays was actually quite large.

But when it came to Ancient Doomsday, there was only one.

In that super-ancient era where time-space was frozen, an era before the multiverse was destroyed and rebooted countless times, the ancient Kryptonians had created a dangerous plaything.

That was the out-of-control Ancient Doomsday.

A Mutant that had destroyed countless universes and rampaged unchecked through countless eras.

A powerful creature that even the Singular Gods were wary of.

Even the omniverse-level Living Tribunal, that indescribably magnificent being, was secretly tracking Ancient Doomsday, wanting to lock him up.

There were indeed some Singular Gods who could kill Ancient Doomsday, but here came the problem... Who the hell would dare to make a move? Who the hell would be willing to?

So what if you kill Ancient Doomsday?

He'll just resurrect on the spot, then come back full of life, having learned all your attack patterns, mastered combat techniques to counter all your abilities, and become immune to your attacks from then on because you killed him?

What's the point?!

You can't kill him, trying to capture him is a huge pain in the ass, and you might not even succeed. Maybe before you can even catch him, he'll have learned all your abilities and figured out how to counter them, then turn around and kill you instead.

It was better to just let the monster rampage as it pleased. In any case, its primitive and brutal destruction was far slower than the rate at which the multiverse was born.

*Just wreak havoc in the multiverse, and don't come to our Sphere of the Gods.*

This was the thinking of some of the Singular Gods.

Anyway, the multiverse regenerates infinitely, and Ancient Doomsday doesn't play by the rules of reality, only knowing how to destroy with fists and energy. The damage to the multiverse was actually limited.

Wa Tu remained stunned for a long while before suddenly snapping out of it. "No, I have to find someone to help! This monster killed my fellows and destroyed the trans-universal warship. I can't escape either."

A determined look appeared on Wa Tu's face.

He had some confidence in his heart.

*My universe has a being who can even take down Trigon, so why the hell should I be afraid of one Ancient Doomsday?*

Alright, actually, he was really afraid.

Because Wa Tu knew very well that Ancient Doomsday was special.

It wasn't just because of its infinite evolution, but also because creatures like Doomsday lacked options like "retreat" or "hesitation." They would only fight, kill, fight, kill…

If they died in battle, they would resurrect on the spot and continue killing, growing stronger with each fight, evolving infinitely.

Countless brilliant and talented powerhouses across countless universes had been worn down and killed by such an unreasonable method.

Hmm, or maybe they just died of sheer frustration.

A being like Trigon, though tyrannical, at least had sanity and knew when to retreat.

But a creature like Doomsday would not, and the terrifyingly strong Ancient Doomsday certainly wouldn't.

Injury would only make them stronger.

Death would only allow him to advance further.

"No, I have to find Tony!" Wa Tu's face was pale as he set out in a panic, his movements frantic and rough.

To hell with neutrality, to hell with observing and recording, to hell with the clan rules! If they stuck to that nonsense now, everyone would be finished.

Watchers were people too. No matter how much they insisted on neutrality, they were still people in the end.

Besides, trying to be neutral with Ancient Doomsday? He'd kill you with a single punch.

"Tony must have a way. Only he can avenge my people."

Unconsciously, Wa Tu had developed an inexplicable confidence in Tony, even though he had only seen him twice in total.

Once was in the Dark Dimension, when a group of people were besieging Dormammu.

The second time was when Tony was fiercely battling Trigon.

Wa Tu didn't even bother taking a spaceship. He flew directly toward Earth. The azure planet was very conspicuous from the Moon.

The Inhumans living on the Moon were the first to notice Wa Tu's actions, a look of confusion on their faces.

"Wa Tu is acting so panicked...? What's happened again?"

The leader of the Inhumans, the Level Seven Black Bolt, watched Wa Tu's rapidly flying figure and narrowed his eyes, not stopping him.

The Inhumans and the Watcher Wa Tu coexisted on the Moon, having always maintained a policy of non-interference. The Inhumans had originally lived on Earth, gradually relocating from the Pacific Ocean to the Himalayan Mountains, before finally migrating to the Moon.

"Have the clansmen be on alert. Something big might be about to happen again."

After a moment of contemplation, Black Bolt gave the order.

However, the Inhuman who hurried off to relay the order didn't notice the strange expression that flashed across their beloved king's face.

After everyone had left, Black Bolt sent a message to a certain planet in the universe.

"Watcher Wa Tu... unusual movement... disguise plan continues... S.H.I.E.L.D...."
