Chapter 505: Surrendered
Dormammu happily returned to the Dark Dimension.
"Hmph, a piece of trash like Mongul wants to rope me in? Relying on a Warworld to do a bunch of brainless things, he'll get himself killed sooner or later."
Dormammu was very pleased, cheerfully running back to his lair.
Although his body had been shattered by a single punch from Ancient Doomsday, as long as his soul wasn't extinguished, he could reassemble at any time. As for that punch from Doomsday, Lord Dormammu could only consider himself unlucky.
Fortunately, Doomsday wasn't interested in him. It was like casually crushing a bug; once it was crushed, he left, showing no intention of checking the corpse.
Because of this, Dormammu managed to keep his life.
"But that guy Tony is getting more and more terrifying. He easily dealt with an enemy that even the great Dormammu couldn't handle..."
Dormammu muttered, planning to peacefully hole up in the Dark Dimension.
As long as he was in the Dark Dimension, he was invincible in a one-on-one fight! Unless an enemy could destroy the Dark Dimension itself!
"Worthy of being my lifelong enemy." Dormammu puffed up with pride, arrogantly returning to the pitch-black world, casually landing on a planet to rest.
"Oh? What lifelong enemy?" someone suddenly asked.
"Of course, it's Tony. That foolish thing has a sliver of qualification to become... What are you doing here?!"
Dormammu snapped his head around, looking at the person with a constant sneer—the guy who was vaguely becoming his psychological trauma.
"Tony?!! You dare enter my Dark Dimension!!" Dormammu leaped up, roaring, and subconsciously swatted down with his palm.
A colossal sound erupted. In an instant, a palm-shaped crater appeared on the entire planet, which trembled unceasingly.
"You think you're worthy of being called my lifelong enemy?" Tony sneered. After dodging the attack, he leaped up swiftly and smashed a vicious punch into Dormammu's head, instantly shattering half of it.
Dormammu shook his head. A dense wave of dark energy surged over, instantly repairing the damage.
He roared, his voice harsh and severe, yet his tone carried a trace of insecurity. Waving his arms, he bellowed, "Tony, did you come to my Dark Dimension looking to die? Lord Dormammu is not afraid of you!"
"It seems you've forgotten that I bestowed this Dark Dimension upon you. Now I'll give you two choices: either submit to me, or die!"
Tony's expression was grim; the more he looked at Dormammu, the more he disliked him.
If you said Dormammu was stupid, he could be terrifyingly clever at times. But if you said he was smart, he could also be incredibly foolish...
The moment Tony's voice fell, he shot forward, blowing apart half of Dormammu's body in a few flickers.
Dormammu roared as more dark energy surged out. Under his powerful dark magic, it was then further converted into potent magic.
A super magic capable of easily destroying planets manifested with oceanic vastness. It layered and overlapped, roaring as it rushed toward Tony.
Tony raised an eyebrow, a trace of caution flashing in his eyes. After all, he was only a demigod and had yet to cross that threshold. Fighting Dormammu in the Dark Dimension put him at a slight disadvantage.
But that wouldn't make him back down either.
Tony's body began to expand, every muscle bulging rapidly. Explosive energy erupted from within him, suffusing the surface of his body. The nobility stemming from his Singularity Life Essence seemed to become something tangible, visible to the eye. The moment it appeared, it crossed the Barrier and overwhelmed everything in the world.
Tony possessed the Trait of Singularity in his Life Essence. Naturally, the energy within his body also possessed this Singularity Trait, having a unique characteristic that could not be matched even if the entire multiverse were combined.
With a gleam like a sharp arrow, Tony directly tore through the vast dark magic. He charged in like a madman. The magical power, potent enough to shatter a planet, seemed like paper-mâché before him, pierced through and gouged open.
Dormammu's body was shattered once again.
"Tony, what the hell do you want!!"
Dormammu grew frantic. He reformed his body again, but the new one was a size smaller than before. He yelled anxiously, "Submitting to you is impossible! I will never submit to you in this lifetime! Lord Dormammu is the Dark Lord, supreme and unparalleled! How could I submit to a despicable villain like you!"
"What a pity. Then I'll just destroy the Dark Dimension." Tony lifted his eyelids, too lazy to waste words.
The black light on his chest flared, possessing an incredibly high shielding ability that concealed both reality and illusion. The black light seemed to block all prying eyes.
Behind the veil of the black light, something terrifying seemed about to emerge, directly causing the Dark Dimension to tremble.
The leaking Information Aggregate, while not enough to completely destroy the Dark Dimension, could at least inflict heavy damage.
Or rather, it could at least scare Dormammu to death.
"That black light again... what in the world is that thing?"
With just one glance, Dormammu cowered, terror filling his eyes. He would never forget being instantly killed by that scrawny fellow.
Back then, just after Trigon had died, Tony had forcibly dragged him out of the Dark Dimension to take a hit. The black light flashed, and he was inexplicably crippled, forced to flee back to the Dark Dimension in a sorry state.
But now, this black light appeared on Tony...
This was just too terrifying, wasn't it?
On what grounds? How did Tony get his hands on all the good stuff?
Dormammu counted on his fingers: the Allspark, the Infinity Stones, and now the black light... His eyes immediately turned red with envy.
Dormammu, his eyes red and filled with jealousy, hurriedly said, "Tony, I surrender! I am willing to submit to you once more!"
Tony paused.
"As long as you give me that black light," Dormammu said, mustering his courage.
"You can just go and die." Tony's mouth twitched. He sneered and attacked, not flinching even when faced with the terrifying magic Dormammu unleashed.
"Either submit, hand over the Dark Dimension, and return with me to Cybertron, or I will destroy the entire Dark Dimension and leave you with nothing to rely on."
"Outside the Dark Dimension, you're just a demigod. I can beat you with one hand."
"Don't look down on me!" Dormammu roared, but then immediately watched the gradually trembling Dark Dimension with utter panic, shock and unease on his face.
What terrified him even more was that he could clearly feel the connection between himself and the Dark Dimension becoming obscure. Although it was subtle, it was definitely happening.
Maybe Tony really did have the power to destroy the Dark Dimension! What in the world was that black light?!
In truth, Dormammu didn't know that destroying the Dark Dimension didn't rely on the Plot Gem. That thing was just for concealment, to prevent Tony's identity from being exposed.
The deadliest weapon, to put it bluntly, was still the Information Aggregate Tony had accumulated over the past two years—something so terrifying that the Dark Dimension was far from being able to withstand it.
The connection between Dormammu and the Dark Dimension was continuously weakening.
Dormammu's eyes were bloodshot. He stared deadly at Tony's face, wishing he could shatter it. He endured, he waited, hoping Tony was just bluffing. But as time passed, Tony merely watched him quietly as the collapse of the Dark Dimension intensified.
Dormammu recalled that every past confrontation between him and Tony had ended in his own crushing defeat. While it was true that Tony was cunning, he had to admit that Tony always had a way to counter him.
It was a very frustrating outcome. He was clearly the stronger one, yet every single time, he was utterly defeated.
"Enough! I surrender! I'll go back with you to that... that Cybertron!" Dormammu finally couldn't take it anymore and said, aggrieved.
Another confrontation, and as expected, he had lost again.
