Chapter 534

Chapter 521

2022-10-19 Author: Great Demon Spirit

A momentary silence fell over Warworld, as if someone had suddenly grabbed it by the throat, leaving it wide-eyed and speechless.

After a long while, someone spoke up.

"Which idiot is this?"

"Who knows... Let's just keep drinking."

The numerous mercenaries and bounty hunters shook their heads with a sigh, turning their attention back to their drinks and the women.

But the way they looked at each other had changed slightly. In silence, they placed their hands on the weapons at their waists, a vicious glint flashing in their eyes.

For these defiant and unruly types, even God himself would have to survive a stab from them before earning the right to speak as an equal.

Not far from Warworld, a colossal spaceship was parked silently.

Corvus Glaive carried his large scythe, a cruel and chilling smile on his face. Behind his parted lips was a dense array of long, sharp, filthy black teeth.

Ebony Maw's expression was terrifyingly dark. "We shouldn't be so high-profile. With our strength, it will be very difficult to conquer the planet Cybertron."

It had been an awkward process. After receiving Thanos's order, they had immediately tried to locate the planet Cybertron, only to find that no such planet existed in their records.

So they took a trip to Nowhere, hoping to get information on Cybertron, but were stunned to find that Nowhere was gone. After another round of investigation, and plundering more than a dozen spaceships, they learned that Tony was responsible.

The planet Cybertron was also built by Tony.

This presented a problem. If they went, they likely couldn't defeat Tony. If they didn't, they couldn't defeat Thanos.

Their only chance was to attack together, five against one, but their relationships with one another were terrible. They were constantly on guard against being stabbed in the back, making it difficult for them to join forces.

"You've been scared witless by Tony's reputation," Corvus Glaive sneered, shooting Ebony Maw a ferocious glare. "To defeat Trigon, Tony used the Infinity Stones, but five of those are already shattered, and the last one will soon be in our master's possession."

"As for banishing Ancient Doomsday, the method is unknown, but it's suspected to be some kind of box-like transport device."

"And when he defeated Dormammu, he had the Ancient One and that group from the Agalas Sanctuary. Tony was just a helper."

"Tony isn't as powerful as the rumors say. He's just a Demigod. A Demigod who came from a primitive, backward, native planet... His vision and experience are nothing to speak of."

"That's still not something we can handle, unless all five of us attack at once and give him no chance to use any other tricks," Ebony Maw said, his face cold.

"That's why I chose to attack Warworld, and not the nearby planet of Cybertron."

A glimmer of cunning flashed behind the mask of extreme madness in Corvus Glaive's eyes.

He was bloodthirsty, murderous, and manic, that was true, but it didn't mean he was an idiot.

Charging headfirst into a battle he knew he would likely lose? There was a reason he was able to firmly suppress Ebony Maw, who was considered their strategist.

"First, we'll take Warworld. Then, from Warworld, we'll observe Tony's reaction."

If they could win, they would fight. If they couldn't... that situation didn't exist, because he, Corvus Glaive, was an immortal being.

Corvus Glaive gave the order, "This so-called planet of Cybertron, to put it bluntly, only has Tony worth mentioning. Everyone else is trash."

Corvus Glaive was incredibly arrogant.

In this newly established Cybertron, who else was there besides Tony? They were all garbage.

They wouldn't be able to withstand a siege from the Black Order.

"First, release one million Outriders onto Warworld. No matter what, capturing Warworld is a great accomplishment, enough to offset the punishment for failing our mission. You know our master and that idiot Mongul who got himself killed didn't get along anyway."

Following Corvus Glaive's command, the colossal spaceship roared into action. A large portal at its base opened, and one after another, Steles plummeted toward Warworld.

Each Stele housed one hundred thousand Outriders, the best kind of cannon fodder.

A total of ten Steles hurtled down, pulled by Warworld's gravity, the intense friction igniting massive flames across their surfaces.

Then, the surface of Warworld suddenly lit up as countless cannons roared to life, effortlessly blasting the ten majestic Steles to smithereens.

Vast clouds of debris exploded outwards, continuing their descent. The larger fragments were shattered, while the smaller pieces burned up completely.

"..."

Ebony Maw slowly stated, "We've lost one million Outriders. We have four million left."

"...It appears so." Corvus Glaive's movements stiffened for a moment before he recovered, sneering, "My test was a great success. It is truly a world forged by the tyrant Mongul. Tony really got damn lucky."

"Testing Warworld's strength with a million Outriders was well worth it," Corvus Glaive calmly analyzed for the other members of the Black Order.

Proxima Midnight, Corvus Glaive's wife, immediately embraced him, praising in a cold, deep voice, "You are so brilliant."

The corner of Ebony Maw's mouth twitched. He patiently and gently said, "If you don't mind, why don't you hand command over to me?"

"That won't be necessary." Corvus Glaive swung his scythe, which made a whooshing sound, radiating a sharp aura that felt as if it were slicing through everyone's souls.

"Now, we will proceed to the next satellite and conquer it for our base."

Corvus Glaive pointed casually towards "New World" on Saiwei-1. The colossal spaceship immediately left the tough nut of Warworld and rushed towards the New World satellite.

"Deploy one million Outriders to scout the way. If there are any natives living there, exterminate them immediately."

Following Corvus Glaive's cruel command, another ten Steles were dropped, heading straight for New World.

"I, Corvus Glaive, refuse to believe that a pissant little planet like this would also be equipped with Warworld-level weaponry!" Corvus Glaive licked his lips cruelly, a terrifying killing intent exploding from his eyes. He eagerly anticipated a satisfyingly bloody massacre.

In his eyes, Tony was just a pitiful native who had gained some explosive power and a few tricks to make a name for himself in the universe.

After all, to Corvus Glaive, even Thanos was nothing special. If Thanos were suddenly severely injured, the first one to rise up and stab him in the back would definitely be Corvus Glaive.

Yes, and the second would undoubtedly be Ebony Maw.

Corvus Glaive put his arm around Proxima Midnight, watching the Steles with anticipation.

And then...

"Hm? There's an enemy invasion."

The residents of New World looked up in surprise, then quickly lowered their heads and went back to their business.

Two terrifying powers suddenly erupted from the satellite. One took the form of a Flame Phoenix, while the other represented the ultimate power of Chaos.

With a tremendous boom, eight Steles were destroyed.

Magneto also made a move, controlling the remaining two Steles and causing them to collide and explode.

Just like before, another one million Outriders were dead.

Corvus Glaive's eyes widened, and he fell into a deep silence.

After a long time, he slammed his scythe viciously on the ground. "Just as I thought. I had already sensed a powerful aura on this planet, hehehe..."

"..."

Ebony Maw said slowly, "We have three million Outriders left. I think we should just send them all out in one go."

"Hmph, I don't need you meddling in how I command. Say any more nonsense and I don't mind killing you first."

Corvus Glaive glared coldly at Ebony Maw, then stroked his chin and waved his hand. "But there's some truth to what you said... I've figured it all out now. We'll go to the third satellite. I refuse to believe that one is also guarded by a group of Demigod-level combatants!"

"We will capture that place and wait for Tony to walk into his death! The moment he arrives, we'll immediately swarm him! Five against one, we can definitely win. Even our master, Thanos, would have to be careful if he faced the five of us at the same time."
