Chapter 544: Red Lantern Hulk

Author: Great Demon Spirit

Doctor Manhattan was the only Level Eight being to have emerged from the Prime Universe's Earth. He was also a divine being who had shed his humanity, thinking with the will of a deity.

Doctor Manhattan was an extremely special Level Eight individual. To him, disputes over interests were largely meaningless; instead, he was troubled by many unsolvable philosophical questions. For this reason, Tony considered Doctor Manhattan a very dangerous person.

You could never use human concepts like "friend" and "enemy" to evaluate a divine being incapable of anger, sorrow, guilt, or joy.

"Mark this universe. Name it the 'Manhattan Universe.' From now on, unless I specifically choose it, automatically exclude this universe from all future screening and travel operations."

Tony issued a command to the Mobius Chair.

He really had no desire to deal with Doctor Manhattan.

Next, Tony arrived on the Earth of a third universe.

"In this universe, many circumstances are similar to the Prime Universe, but there has been no invasion from powerful enemies like Trigon. On the contrary, this is a universe trending towards peace and silence."

The Mobius Chair carried Tony to this universe's Earth to observe the situation.

But what met his eyes was a scene of ruin and despair everywhere.

The devastation was even more extreme than in the universe attacked by Edgy Supes. Nearly all life on Earth had been wiped out.

No wonder it was peaceful, no wonder it was silent. Everyone had been fucking killed, how could it not be quiet?

Looking out from a distance, a terrifying, piercing red light emanated from Earth. Uncontrollable emotions of extreme brutality, slaughter, and rage radiated outward, casting the entire Solar System into an eerie silence.

Tony moved closer for a look, his brow furrowing tightly.

A figure, green showing through red, was seated atop Mount Everest, its beast-like, blood-red eyes locked onto him.

Endless rage could be felt clearly even from tens of thousands of meters away, pounding against his chest and heart like a great drum. An immense pressure, like a ten-thousand-meter mountain, came crashing down.

"Worldbreaker Hulk? A Worldbreaker Hulk wearing a Red Lantern ring?"

Tony's brows knitted together.

Worldbreaker Hulk is the second strongest ultimate form among the many evolutionary paths of the Hulk, second only to the Four-Armed Hulk.

The name says it all. The term 'Green Scar' already reveals this Hulk's tragedy.

To put it simply, the Avengers decided the Hulk was a menace, and after a meeting, they chose to exile the monster to an alien planet.

The spaceship carrying the betrayed and deceived Hulk arrived on the gladiator planet Sakaar. There, the Hulk defeated many powerful enemies to become its king, got married, had a child, and lived a happy life.

Then, the spaceship, which had been dormant for a long time, suddenly exploded due to a problem with its own power source. The Hulk was forced to watch as his wife and child died horribly before his eyes.

Immense rage turned the green beast into a monster of slaughter. He returned to Earth with Sakaar's army to take revenge, killing one superhero after another.

This was Worldbreaker Hulk, an avenger controlled by rage.

But this one before him... Green Scar plus a rage-fueled Red Lantern? This combination was completely off the charts, wasn't it?

"This is a textbook example of a Child of the Plane... A red-and-green Hulk. His combat power is even greater than the Four-Armed Hulk's; he's arguably the strongest of all."

The angrier the wearer of a Red Lantern ring, the greater their power. In the hands of Worldbreaker Hulk, it was even more effective than a full set of Infinity Stones—a supreme divine artifact.

Tony exchanged a glance with the monster trapped in immense rage and solitude. Then, without waiting for the Hulk to erupt, he decisively changed course and left Earth.

Another glance at the Hulk made Tony feel sick. The only good Hulk was a dead Hulk—he had always firmly believed that.

Tony passed by the Moon and discovered that the Inhumans there had also been wiped out long ago. As strong as Black Bolt was, he was no match for the red-and-green Hulk; he was undoubtedly instantly killed.

"This is good, though. There aren't many powerhouses in this universe, and the few that remained have been killed off by the Hulk. It's the perfect place for me to conduct my experiment."

Tony took a quick tour of this universe at top speed. The situation was very much to his satisfaction.

"Designate this universe. Name it the 'Nirvana Universe.' It will serve as the site for the Grand Universe Proving Ground," Tony said. After a moment of thought, he flew directly to Nowhere.

Nowhere, the mercenary hub of the entire universe—a chaotic place where good and bad mingled and crime ran rampant.

"Big news! The King of Sakaar has killed Galactus! The corpse of Galactus is drifting through the Milky Way Galaxy!"

"What?! Is that for real? Even Galactus was killed by that monster, the Hulk? Who's left that can possibly stop that beast?"

"Maybe Odin of Asgard can."

"Get real. Odin can't even beat Galactus, and he wouldn't dare make a move. Asgard has already sealed the portal to Earth! No one can take down that monster!"

The chaotic discussions flooded into Tony's mind.

"Hmph, as lively as ever here," Tony mused, his hand moving to the case he was holding. Inside was a terrifying virus capable of destroying everything.

All Tony had to do was open the case, slam it down, and shatter the test tubes for a massive catastrophe to erupt and sweep across the universe.

Doomsday cells? Tony preferred to call it the Doomsday virus.

Inferior cells, regenerative cells, primitive cells, and proliferative cells... four distinct types of Doomsday cells were the result of Tony's recent research, each with a different function.

But he still hadn't managed to research the template for the unkillable Ancient Doomsday cells.

After some thought, Tony decided not to do it himself. Instead, he went directly to a mission issuer in Nowhere.

"I want to post a mission, with no limit on the number of times it can be accepted."

Looking like an ordinary mercenary, Tony passed over a briefcase with a smile.

...

A few minutes later, Tony walked out of the Mercenary Center with a strange smile on his face, brushing past all sorts of beings coming and going. He quickly vanished into the crowd to watch from the sidelines.

A group of Ravagers swaggered into the Mercenary Center, shouting loudly and arrogantly shoving aside anyone in their way.

"Hey, sweetheart, any big clients today?" Yondu asked with a wicked grin.

"Yes, Mr. Yondu. A client wants a serum that augments vegetation to be deployed in different galaxies. The pay is very high, and they've also promised a vial of the serum as part of the reward. Most importantly, the mission can be accepted multiple times, until all the serum has been deployed."

"Oh? Eighty million each time? That is generous." Yondu raised his eyebrows and thought for a moment. "This mission, including all subsequent runs—we, the Ravagers, will take it!"

As for whether the serum was really for augmenting vegetation? Only a fool would believe that. But Yondu couldn't care less about that sort of crap. The important thing was the money!
