Chapter 606

A boundless black curtain descended, completely shrouding the entire universe.
These black lights vanished in a flash, silently concealing many things, even from the ancient entities who couldn't perceive them.

Tony sat radiantly upon his throne. Compared to the gods who were easily thousands or tens of thousands of meters tall, his body appeared incredibly tiny, yet at this moment, he was like the center of the world, compelling everyone into silence.

Three Mother Boxes floated steadily above Tony's palm, leaving many deities somewhat perplexed.

Just now, Ultron was thrown onto Apokolips; his fate was destined to be miserable. Who would be next?

"Are you sure Tony isn't from your Apokolips?" someone asked with a dark expression.

Steppenwolf's face grew even darker, his rage flaring, and he let out a cold snort.

The many deities had various expressions, silently observing the development of events.

"Tony, I truly hope you don't die too miserably," Steppenwolf chuckled eerily.

Regarding the perils during the ascension process, no one had more authority to speak than he, as the One-Above-All. This was a process of purging all that was old and encompassing the endless Multiverse.

He not only had to gather his doppelgängers but also countless timelines.

Violent tremors constantly struck; the entire universe emitted a tragic wail as the laws of physics began to destabilize. Countless planets collided, heading towards their demise.

An intense tearing sensation suddenly afflicted Tony's soul. In an instant, it was as if countless gigantic hands reached out to Tony, demanding something from him.

It seemed as though countless voices were speaking to Tony, but their words were blurry and indistinct.

"Timelines?"

Tony frowned, remaining speechless.

He felt that the countless possibilities of past and future had suddenly shifted. This was a normal phenomenon, because the Multiverse had no right to bind the One-Above-All to a specific point in time.

When an One-Above-All is born, the trajectories of past and future are completely erased. Tony's past could not be spied upon or modified, his future was chaos, and Tony would consolidate all possibilities into the present.

Yet at this crucial moment, every individual connected to Tony, every choice Tony had made, manifested one by one, traversing the space-time around him.

Every scene was a true reality, yet at the same time, it was receding into illusion.

Because Tony was the Unique One, he was only here, not in other times.

"All your past and future will be erased, including the people and things you cherish; they will all lose their memories of you..." Steppenwolf's expression was somber, a savage grin spreading on his lips.

More unknown entities also showed expressions of interest, their eyes flickering, restless and eager to make a move. To be frank, it was their first time closely observing the birth of an One-Above-All; in the past, they simply had no chance whatsoever.

In the past, which unique individual didn't appear in the Gods' Domain? Did they dare approach?

But now, it seemed within grasp...

Ambition swelled, desire burned, and incredibly oppressive gazes, enough to crush planets, stared fixedly at Tony.

Suddenly, Tony curved his lips, revealing a sarcastic smile.

Tony looked at all the figures with a mocking gaze.

"You all have known nothing about me from beginning to end, so what right do you have to bluster at me? You've lived for countless billions of years, yet are still barely alive, clinging to a greed severely mismatched with your abilities... Greed is not a sin, but excessive greed is the original sin."

Tony sneered, his resolute features slowly dissolving as countless intertwined timelines unimpededly pierced through his body, tightly integrating with him.

A huge surge erupted; the chaotic space-time distorted all perception, causing the entire universe to suddenly become incredibly bizarre.

Here, it was like watching a videotape, with scenes sped up billions of times shaking wildly. Here, one could feel time slowed down countless times. Here, one could personally experience the violent friction of space, erupting in horrifying collisions and destruction.

Time was irrelevant, because all time was chained to Tony like countless links. Space was irrelevant; unimaginably terrifying layers of space surged madly, groaning and compressing, capable of generating a collapse exceeding the Big Bang at any moment.

Sitting at the center of this extreme chaos and madness, in an instant, Tony seemed to be replicated into countless copies—this was, of course, an illusion, a projection caused by the superposition of space and the twisting of time.

The countless intersections of past and future all naturally reached out to Tony, seemingly wanting to draw him in.

Each scene was cutting off a part of Tony; when countless space-times simultaneously made demands of him, that was an utterly terrifying thing.

"Is this... demanding from me the inherent imperfections they should possess?"

Tony's face was cold, and gritting his teeth, he endured immense pain. He felt his entire being was being carved by countless small knives.

At this moment, Tony suddenly understood much.

The One-Above-All is greed.

The One-Above-All violently and brazenly gathers all of themselves originally engraved upon space-time, including all related traces, into a single point.

But those fragile space-times are equivalent to having a permanent void.

For example, Tony eating in the last second and Tony getting up to leave in the next second—this is an established fact, a reasonable reality of how a universe operates.

But Tony dug out both of these selves, swallowing them whole, creating a huge void in these two points in time.

And Tony at every point in time would interact with more people, leaving more traces and possibilities...

The One-Above-All Tony was equivalent to completely digging all of this out, unwilling to leave even a single trace for the original space-time.

A greedy and unreasonable approach.

"So that's how it is... The previous me barely possessed the essence of uniqueness, but still wasn't the One-Above-All, because my past self and future self had left traces." On Tony's face, veins bulged, and in his blood vessels, blood more violent than magma roared and boiled.

He remembered that back then, Barry Allen used the Cosmic Treadmill to travel through time and had interacted with his past self—that time, a wisp of Tony's will was taken by time to fill the void.

But now, even the traces were gone. If Barry traveled back again, there would only be a point that didn't exist at all, because Barry had no right to converse with the Unique One.

"The unique individual, the unique being, the only unique one."

Tony stiffly, bearing immeasurable immense pressure, slowly raised his head. His gaze was as cold as an iceberg.

Under the mocking, cautious, and wary gazes of Steppenwolf and the many entities, Tony suddenly revealed a chilling and savage smile.

His other hand, which had been tightly clenched, suddenly opened, and streaks of jet-black light shot out.

Gradually, the black light receded, and in his palm, an ordinary-looking black stone lay quietly.
