Chapter 615

**Chapter 602: Death**

"If you join Apokolips, I can grant you priority use of the Mother Box, and all past grievances between us will be wiped clean."

"You want me to serve that infamous Tyrant?" Tony's expression was playful.

"You must understand, not everyone can be a Tyrant. Besides strength, one must possess cunning and talent. Those fools who lack ability and indiscriminately kill would have died long ago," Steppenwolf said coldly.

"What if I refuse? Will you list me as a sworn enemy to be killed?"

"If you continue to possess the Mother Box, we will prioritize hunting you. The Mother Box is an artifact of Apokolips, and must never be controlled by outsiders," Steppenwolf stated.

Tony fell into contemplation.

Submitting to Darkseid? To be honest, that was a truly perilous move. Who knew when Darkseid would lose his temper and dissect him?

A Tyrant's temperament was simply untrustworthy, regardless of their strength or cunning.

As for the Mother Box... frankly, although Tony controlled the Mother Box, his authority was actually only about half. To further seize control of the Mother Box would require a vast amount of time and knowledge, at least understanding the X-Energy.

This was research that even Apokolips had failed to complete after billions of years.

"Let Darkseid talk to me. Let him come see me, and I'll personally return the Mother Box to him." Tony suddenly sneered.

"If you truly wish to die..." Steppenwolf also sneered.

Darkseid's Clone, due to its shared Omega Effect, possessed far greater Combat Power than Steppenwolf's Clone. Even at its weakest, it was infinitely close to Level Eight. Tony, a New God, was currently only Level Seven. To directly confront Darkseid...

Steppenwolf carefully assessed the situation, and to his astonishment, found that Tony's chances of winning weren't low.

The Plot Gem, coupled with that unknown flame that was undoubtedly a Singularity artifact...

Steppenwolf's mood instantly turned incredibly sour. He waved his thick arm. "Look out for yourself. You know what to say and what not to say."

Leaving these words behind, Steppenwolf, with a gloomy expression, intended to depart immediately.

However, Tony called out to him, conjured a golden Spark, and took out a... Scythe and a large, wriggling mass of flesh.

"I said I still needed one more to kill half the people. I keep my word."

Tony looked at Steppenwolf very seriously, his eyes revealing chilling Killing Intent. "Business is business, war is war."

The so-called "business" was the information Tony had conveyed to Steppenwolf about the Anti-Life Equation, promising not to tell Darkseid.

But this didn't mean he would let Steppenwolf go. Killing him in passing would be good too.

Killing this Steppenwolf would complete the quota of half the people killed.

"You can't do this!" Steppenwolf's face changed, Rage surged, and he roared.

"I can. The moment you appeared before me, you were already an enemy."

Tony sneered, slapping the feigning-death Scythe, then roughly plastered the wriggling mass of flesh onto it.

Immediately after, a test tube appeared in his palm and was violently plunged into the mass of flesh.

"Steppenwolf, have a safe trip."

Tony curled a strange smile, then aimed the Scythe at Steppenwolf and hurled it like a Spear, carrying billions of tons of Energy.

A colossal Lightning Bolt struck Steppenwolf first, causing him to freeze for a moment. Then, the enormous mass of flesh violently crashed into Steppenwolf, nearly pulverizing his body.

The mass of flesh wriggled frantically, and the Scythe wrapped within it suddenly changed. A surge of Willpower awoke from its slumber.

"Hoo hoo hoo, I, Corvus Glaive, have finally waited for this day! I knew it! My grand scheme of feigning death was flawless, no one knew my secret! Even Tony was fooled by me!"

"Freedom! This is the Aura of freedom!!!"

"I, Corvus Glaive, am just that awesome!!! ...Huh, who the hell are you?"

The completely new Corvus Glaive smoothly took control of the unconscious mass of flesh, rebuilding his body according to the flesh mass's instincts. His hazy Soul gazed bewilderedly at Steppenwolf, whom he had almost sliced in half.

Back then, the Black Order, following Thanos's command, attacked Cybertron, resulting in their complete annihilation. Corvus Glaive was also killed, but because his true form was the Scythe and not his body, he managed to survive until now by feigning dormancy.

Piercing screams and curses roared from Steppenwolf's mouth. Enraged, he fiercely throttled the unformed Corvus Glaive with his thick arms, intent on using his last breath to tear him to shreds.

Unfortunately, he no longer had the strength. He had already been half-killed by the Lightning Bolt blasted from the Mother Box, and Corvus Glaive had passively delivered the final blow.

Once again, Steppenwolf died at Tony's hands.

Then, without waiting for the new body to fully form, Tony immediately threw them both onto Apokolips.

"Hmm, that makes half..."

Tony sat upright in his chair, indifferently surveying the remaining individuals. "Scram, all of you. Today, I'll spare your dog lives. When you return to your homelands, tell the beings of your worlds that the deity who spared your lives is the great God of Cybertron!"

"I want my name to resonate throughout the Multiverse from now on."

"I want my glory to be praised by every living being from now on."

"Scram, you pathetic trash!"

Tony bared chilling teeth, and his icy voice precisely transmitted into the minds of every individual, striking them like morning bells and evening drums, causing them to involuntarily vomit blood.

The many surviving lucky bugs scrambled to flee in all directions, retreating in disarray from this Universe and returning to their respective worlds.

They would never forget how a New God slaughtered them like dogs. The corpses of two thousand one hundred forty-two Powerhouses laid the foundation for the New God's prestige.

The entire dilapidated Universe, teetering on the brink of collapse, suddenly fell silent.

Life vanished, the Blood Realm inverted, physics crumbled—this Universe spiraled towards Death.

But more terrifying than Death itself, was Death, the master of Death.

*Clap clap clap clap...*

"Well done, Tony, truly astonishing."

Death appeared silently, like a phantom, her wide black robe similar to Tony's attire. Beneath her hood, a pallid face of White Bones was revealed, and countless Lost Souls wailed.

"I've been waiting for you, Death." Tony's lips curved slightly. He sat serenely in the Mobius Chair, arms crossed, comfortably leaning back, and calmly watched this top-tier deity responsible for maintaining the balance of the Multiverse.

"All who await me and embrace me shall submit to my embrace, and you are no exception, Tony. You are more outstanding than I imagined, and your Evolution speed has exceeded my expectations. But this is nothing; the more excellent you are, the more gratified I become."

Death beckoned, and Thanos suddenly appeared by her side. His burly purple physique, his silent expression, and that faint, icy and numb gaze.

Then, Death gently stroked Thanos's strong, thick chest, like an intimate lover. With a slight force, she plunged her hands into him, blood splattered, flowing down like a cascading waterfall of red.
