Chapter 616

Chapter 603: Parasite

2022-10-19 Author: Great Demon Spirit

Thanos's chest was torn open on the spot, and a large amount of internal organs began to spill out, a bloody sight.

Tony calmly watched the scene. Compared to him slaughtering over two thousand gods in one breath, this was simply a trivial matter.

But Tony clearly had no intention of sitting idly by and waiting for the enemy to be ready before making his move.

The massive Mother Box Barrier pressed down sideways, and layers upon layers of terrifying thunder roared as they blasted towards… Thanos.

This terrifying, world-shattering scene was, surprisingly, just to blast the tiny Thanos into smithereens.

"You want Thanos to seize my Godhead, and then use my essence to become a powerful Quasi-Unique God? Don't even think about it."

Tony sat on the chair, translucent flames flickering in his eyes. The fiercely burning Allspark, in a dimension-transcending manner, directly connected to the Mother Box, controlling it to wantonly destroy the enemy.

Death's movements abruptly paused, her black robe billowing without wind. The incoming white lightning bolts were all blocked by an invisible barrier. She tilted her head, her empty, pitch-black eye sockets staring directly at him. "You guessed it?"

"I dissected all five Thanos's corpses. A mutant lifeform like Thanos, possessing perfect genes yet breaking through the perfect barrier, has the possibility to bear anything. You must have spent a lot of effort to create a mass-produced weapon like Thanos, didn't you?" Tony scoffed.

Thanos and Doomsday are two different types of bio-weapons.

Doomsday is essentially evolution. Even the Ancient Doomsday, whom even Singular Gods fear, possesses an ability of infinite revival that is, in essence, a super evolution; he evolved to the point of ignoring Death itself.

In essence, it's the same as his evolution to ignore magma or explosions; the core is simply evolution.

As for Thanos, he is a carrier and platform for external forces. No matter what messy things, they can all be loaded onto Thanos, making him incredibly terrifying.

Most importantly, Thanos is absolutely mass-produced, the cheapest yet most effective bio-weapon, not to mention that Thanos's life and death are absolutely controlled by Death.

It's hard to say whether Thanos or Ancient Doomsday is superior. Because Thanos's inherent limits aren't high; the stronger the external forces he gains, the stronger Thanos becomes. As for Ancient Doomsday, he undergoes infinite evolution, and theoretically, his future is boundless.

At least no one has yet seen the end of Ancient Doomsday's evolution. Before touching that tangible and intangible, possibly existing or possibly non-existent life barrier, everyone will hold a sense of awe towards Ancient Doomsday.

Death remained silent. With a surge of power, she completely killed Thanos.

From beginning to end, Thanos remained silent. He didn't know when he started to become increasingly taciturn; no one knew what he was thinking.

Perhaps Death knew.

Perhaps even Death didn't know.

Death extended her skeletal hand, slender and pale. With a gentle squeeze, the soul left behind after Thanos's death was extracted.

"I am the Deity who wields Death. All non-Singular Multiversal lifeforms, no matter how noble, are beneath my status and submit to me."

"When you kill one Multiversal lifeform after another, you will inevitably be tainted by the aura of Death, which is also my aura."

"In your formed Godhead, countless dead are wailing. Now, I will stuff another soul into you."

Death took off her hood, revealing a delicate skeletal head. In her bottomless, deep eye sockets, specks of ghost fire flickered. She gently extended her hand, her movements soft, as if fearing to disturb something, and the soul in her hand floated towards Tony.

Tony's brows furrowed slightly. He felt that his Source gained something special.

It was something that belonged to him, yet could also be influenced by others.

"How many years has it been? I don't know how many years I've waited. Reboot after reboot, the Multiverse has consistently failed to give birth to a new Singular God. Every new epoch, I have hoped, I have longed, but each time I was disappointed."

"Until I discovered you, Tony."

"Do you know how excited I am?"

Death let out a bone-chilling cackle, seemingly laughing, yet also seemingly crying.

"What's the use of excitement? My Godhead, no one can hope to take it away." Tony said coldly.

"Even Darkseid has experienced his Godhead being shattered by Dark Walker, leading to an incomplete Godhead. Much less you, a newly promoted Singular God?"

"Then try it."

Tony coldly watched as Thanos's soul suddenly vanished, then mysteriously appeared within his Godhead, and a sinister smile spread across his face.

The Mother Box roared, crushing forward, used to suppress Death. Scenes of world annihilation with lightning and thunder occurred frequently, but many times, Death dodged and blocked them.

After repeating many times, Death still couldn't withstand it and died.

Tony also didn't expect to completely kill Death simply by relying on the Mother Box. Moreover, this was just a clone; its true body was hidden somewhere unknown.

After dispatching Thanos, whether this clone lived or died was actually meaningless.

Within the Godhead, countless vast powers were rotating at ultra-high speed. Every minute and every second, billions of years passed, as massive energy particles interconnected, colliding and combining with each other.

This boundless whirlpool was Tony's Godhead, and also the Source formed by all of Tony's power.

Thanos's soul appeared here, suffering eradication from the Singular Power wildly assailing him from all directions. Even though Thanos's willpower was firm, he couldn't help but reveal a pained expression.

He opened his mouth wide, letting out a silent roar. In the Godhead of a Singular God, he was too insignificant, as tiny as an ant, suffering the rejection and destruction of the entire world.

Tony opened his left hand, expressionless, wanting to use the power of the Plot Gem to make corrections.

But with a crisp "crack", a subtle rift appeared on the Plot Gem's surface.

"As expected… the Plot Correction Force of the Plot Gem has become my subsidiary power. Within my Godhead, it is merely a marginalized power. To try and modify something within my Godhead using the Plot Gem is simply impossible."

"Moreover, the Plot Gem's mission is complete."

Tony looked at the expanding rift in his hand, utterly unsurprised.

Thinking carefully, how did Tony become the Singularity? How was he able to surpass countless reboots, the geniuses from countless epochs, and the terrifying Quasi-Unique level beings in the Sphere of the Gods, to become a Singular God?

The Plot Gem put in a great deal of effort; to give rise to a Singular God was already an extremely difficult feat.

Infinity Stones have never been invincible. Even the unique item Plot Gem has its limits.

Level Eight is the limit that the Plot Gem can influence, and to act as the driving Source to birth Tony as this Singular God, its difficulty is far beyond what a mere Level Eight can compare to!

Level Eight is not uncommon. For example, Wanda, Iceman, and four other Omega Level Mutants on Cybertron are also Multiversal lifeforms, but as long as they are properly cultivated, their future combat power will start at at least Level Eight.

But a Singular God is simply too terrifying; inherently The Primal Unique One, eternally unified, their potential is even harder to estimate.

To be honest, the fact that the Plot Gem was able to last until now before showing damage already made Tony very surprised.
