Chapter 314

Chapter 306: God of Mars

October 19, 2022 Author: Great Demon Spirit

Tony did not remain on Earth. After studying the secrets of divine power and committing them to memory, he immediately set off for Mars.

In his mind, the Allspark also seemed to grow more excited with Tony's cheerful mood, its light becoming more pronounced.

Looking around, it was incredibly vast and empty.

Or rather, the entire Solar System, the entire Universe, appeared incredibly empty.

In the vast space, matter only existed at extremely distant intervals. For a mortal, these vast distances were a desperate chasm.

An airplane could circle the Earth in dozens of hours, but this speed was utterly negligible in the Universe.

Only by venturing into the Universe could one truly comprehend the insignificance of life.

"Not bad. I originally wanted to create a ninth planet at the edge of the Solar System, but that's not very realistic. Turning Mars directly into a temporary stronghold for Cybertronians isn't a bad idea either."

Tony looked at the raging red sand filling the sky, his face full of admiration.

The fierce storm couldn't harm Tony in any way. Stones, faster than bullets, shattered into powder upon impact with Tony's body.

Tony wore armor he hadn't used in a long time, fully armed, observing every detail on Mars with a serious expression.

The Sorcerer Supreme Armor had been upgraded by Tony once again, boasting stronger defense and better sealing effects. While it was still far from Odin's Destroyer Armor, Tony didn't bring out the Sorcerer Supreme Armor for combat, but rather to resist various viruses.

"The Martian Civilization was wiped out by a mysterious virus centuries ago, leaving only the Martian Manhunter to live alone on Earth."

Tony moved at high speed through the storm like a cheetah, observing the ruins left by the Martians, while also spreading out the Allspark to perceive every subtle particle around him.

The Martian Manhunter was a veteran member of the Justice League, possessing psychic abilities even more terrifying than Professor X's. The Martian Manhunter's appearance was also quite interesting: a scientist on Earth had a sudden idea to point a spatial device at Mars to retrieve something.

By a strange stroke of luck, he stumbled upon a temporal anomaly, directly pulling the Martian Manhunter from centuries ago to Earth.

Thus, the Martian Manhunter, who should have died alongside the other Martians, ultimately traveled through centuries to live on Earth.

"There's nothing special here, and I can't find the mind virus that wiped out the Martians back then."

All Martians were skilled in telepathy, conducting their daily communication through it. As a result, the Martian Manhunter's twin brother unleashed a mind virus, eradicating all Martians, including himself.

Except for the Martian Manhunter, who was an exception.

Tony came here precisely because he knew this mind virus was specifically created to target Martians. Since Martians feared fire, this virus would inflict spiritual torment akin to being burned by flames, torturing its victims to death.

As soon as a Martian used their telepathy ability, they would contract the virus from their kin, leading to immediate death.

"I wonder why the Martian God was so determined to exterminate his worshipers across the Multiverse..."

From the Allspark's perspective, Tony observed the agonizing remains in the ruins, his brow furrowing slightly.

He was a transmigrator who had read the comics. On the surface, the Martians' extinction seemed to be the Martian Manhunter's brother's suicidal act of vengeance against society, but in reality, the biggest mastermind was Hallenmeier, the Martian God worshipped by the Martians.

Hallenmeier annihilated all Martian Civilizations across the Multiverse. He created a terrifying plague and left his name, "Hallenmeier," on the remains of all Martians.

"First, I'll spend some time surveying all of Mars. If it truly doesn't work out, I'll abandon this place and go to Titan."

Tony observed everything cautiously. He had considered creating a planet himself, but it was too troublesome. Cybertron was destined to be a planet made entirely of metal; this would require vast amounts of metal. Tony suspected that even if he excavated all eight planets, he wouldn't gather enough materials to create a pure metal planet.

However, he could first find a temporary stronghold. As for the true Cybertron planet core, Tony already had a target in mind, but it would still require some time.

Mars was very close to Earth, making it an ideal location.

If a large number of Transformers with their own souls were allowed onto Earth, it would be too late to search for a planet then.

The vast Allspark particles began to spread, instantly covered half the planet, then spread over everything at an even more astonishing speed.

Tony saw many shocking things: corpses scattered everywhere and horrific death scenes.

The Martians' remaining bodies had turned into stone-like objects, allowing them to be preserved until now. The name "Hallenmeier" on their bodies was particularly glaring.

How ironic, that the Martians were annihilated by the deity they worshipped.

The Allspark particles quickly permeated underground. Tony wouldn't overlook analyzing and observing every minute particle; this was nothing for a demigod.

Not to mention Tony could perfectly control his power, unlike Jean Grey, who occasionally went berserk.

But as Tony delved deeper, he disturbed something left behind by the Martian God.

The ground actually began to tremble, countless mountain ranges started to collapse with a roar, and all of Mars seemed to fall into a riot.

Hallenmeier, the Martian God, after centuries, his remnants in this Universe began to awaken.

If one were to observe from above, they would be horrified to discover that the entire planet's surface had developed cracks, as if Mars would explode any second.

An ancient will, looking down from above, gazed at Tony.

"Wretch, you have disturbed me. Die."

The Giant spoke as if stating a trivial matter, waving his hand dismissively. A mountain range collapsed, crashing down towards Tony.

Countless boulders, capable of destroying a city, rained down, completely submerging the minuscule Tony.

But the next second, the Giant let out a soft exclamation. From within the ruins, countless dazzling bursts of energy erupted, transforming all obstacles into minute particles, into powder.

In just an instant, the thousand-meter-high mountain ruins were turned into a thick layer of powder by Tony.

Tony casually brushed the dust off himself. At some point, Tony had removed his Sorcerer Supreme Armor and tossed it aside.

"Just a remnant of Hallenmeier's will... no, you can't even be called a remnant of Hallenmeier's will now. You're just a wretch..."

Tony's eyes were as cold as ice, his gaze sharp as a sword, as he looked at Hallenmeier, the legendary Martian God. A demigod-level soul could instantly see through the Giant phantom before him; it was merely a projection left over from a timeline.

It couldn't even be called consciousness.

Perhaps it was a pathetic projection inadvertently spawned when Hallenmeier's true body annihilated the Martian Civilizations across the Multiverse.

At that level, every action would cause immense ripple effects across the Multiverse; simply leaving anything behind could lead to terrifying consequences.

But the one before him was merely a projection on the verge of dissipating.

When Hallenmeier sought to destroy the Martian Civilization back then, it must have been for some unknown reason. It's also possible that this tiny projection was the catalyst for unleashing the mind virus, abandoned by the main body but stubbornly surviving.

In an instant, the Allspark particles crashed into the illusory Giant. Many particles were annihilated, but a wealth of information was fed back.

Tony gradually let out a sigh of relief in his heart.

Fortunately, this guy couldn't be considered Hallenmeier at all.

Hallenmeier, the Martian God, his true strength was a huge mystery even within DC Comics.

But he was suspected to be tier nine.

Tier nine, omniscient and omnipotent level.
