Chapter 387

Chapter 377: Fight for Your Life

2022-10-19 Author: Great Demon Spirit

A world of light and sanctity was shrouded in gloom.

The vast sky had long since turned a bloody crimson.

The pristine ground continuously ruptured, sending rivers of magma flowing to destroy everything in sight.

Atop a colossal mountain that pierced the clouds, Trigon's massive, blood-red form sat calmly. A dense aura of Hell and the potent power of Sin relentlessly corroded and assimilated all matter and mind.

Gone. Everything was gone.

The so-called "living" people tore at each other like beasts, gulping down the flesh and blood of their companions. One by one, the holy and noble Sorcerers, their souls warped, were left with nothing but the instinct to hunt.

Their white robes and spotless smiles were things of the past. All that remained were these monsters with corrupted minds, a pack of beasts steeped in Sin.

Raven's body trembled as she slowly raised her head, tears streaming from her four eyes as she shakily took in the hellish scene.

She spun around abruptly, looking at Tony with a hopeful gaze. "You're here. You'll win… No, that's not right. You shouldn't have come. You can't possibly be his opponent. You'll die."

The more she spoke, the more frantic Raven became.

Only when truly facing Trigon did she realize how laughable her previous thoughts had been. Oppose Trigon? How was that possible? The mighty Agalas Sanctuary, the Universe's foremost and most enduring Sacred Land, had proven to be utterly fragile.

Trigon hadn't even made a real move; he had merely released a fraction of his aura, and the Agalas Sanctuary had collapsed.

"If I don't come, who will?"

Tony raised his right hand, the golden gauntlet perhaps offering him the only sliver of comfort he had left.

Raven stood on her toes, frantically touching Tony's right hand. "What is this? It has such strong power, but why are there only five Infinity Stones? Why only five, where's the other one? Why isn't it attached?"

"There were some complications. I only managed to get five…" Tony stared numbly at his right arm.

Five Infinity Stones… they had easily brought him to the peak of Level Seven, granting him multiple different power systems at that level, enough to let him contend with a Level Eight.

But he was missing the most crucial piece of the puzzle, the one thing that could trigger the Ascension of the other five Infinity Stones.

If all six Infinity Stones were gathered, he would be far more than a simple Level Eight. The difference would be astonishing.

But his enemy was Trigon… a being at the peak of Level Eight, a Quasi-Ninth Level Being. He was a super-universal entity who surpassed the ordinary Multiverse level.

He was only a single step away from Tier Nine, the Omniverse Level. Trigon was just one step away from omniscience and omnipotence.

Although that single step was more distant than any chasm, it was still beyond anything the current Tony could imagine.

He could only take a gamble.

With a slight turn of his right hand, the Space Stone lit up, and a vortex swallowed Raven before she could say anything more.

Some of the still-living Sorcerers of Agalas Sanctuary saw Tony. They let out low growls and scrambled toward him like beasts, their mouths wide open as they lunged.

The red light of the Reality Stone flashed. These people, now no different from monsters, who had once banished countless darknesses, were personally destroyed by Tony.

"You've come, but you're too late…"

The Elder was still clinging to life, leaning heavily on his staff as he sat on a rock, his hair disheveled and his clothes in tatters. Across the entire Agalas Sanctuary, he was the only Level Seven being capable of resisting Trigon, even for a short while.

But the fact remained: Trigon possessed the strength to instant kill an ordinary Multiverse-level entity, let alone a Level Seven multiversal being.

"It's not too late. As long as I made it, it's not too late," Tony said flatly.

More and more Sorcerers from the Agalas Sanctuary swarmed over, roaring at Tony.

The twelve guardian Knights behind Tony all drew their greatswords. Like meat grinders, they swept through the crowd. With every swing, they disemboweled swathes of enemies, hacking the numerous Agalas Sorcerers to pieces.

The Elder closed his eyes in pain.

"It's impossible to defeat Trigon with just five Infinity Stones. Even if that's just a clone, it's far stronger than you. Besides, he is a Singular God, possessing the power to crush you," The Elder said, struggling to his feet and looking up at Trigon's enormous form.

"Of course, it won't work with ordinary methods, but I have to try," Tony said, activating the Space Stone to create a vortex.

"I'm sending you somewhere. Go there and recover. You're in terrible shape."

The vortex consumed The Elder, the last surviving Sorcerer of the Agalas Sanctuary.

The other remnants would have to face the slaughter from his Knights.

Twelve towering steel bodies, each surging with immense Divine Power, effortlessly massacred the Sorcerers who had lost their will.

Comrades of yesterday were forced to raise their blades against each other today.

【Name: Knight】
【Affiliation: None】
【Chassis: ??? (Good)】
【Height: 20 meters】
【Energy: ??? (Abundant)】
【Allspark: ??? (Good)】
【Special Ability: Divine Power】

These twelve behemoths were created by Tony after dismantling the Destroyer Armor and combining it with his own research into Divine Power. They were the best Tanks he could make. It wasn't about how much damage they could inflict, but against Trigon, they might be able to hold out for a few seconds.

The twelve guardian Knights were probably fated to meet their end the moment they were born…

High on the mountain peak, Trigon sat, his weight crushing half the mountain. He looked down, watching Tony's little antics with great interest.

"The Infinity Stones. You plan to use those trinkets against me? If Nemesis herself were here, she might have been able to keep you alive."

Trigon spoke, his voice, dripping with profound malice, flooding into Tony's mind, directly attempting to alter his Willpower. For a being of Trigon's caliber, possessing Psychic Abilities was a given.

He didn't even need to target anyone specifically. His very existence warped the rules, and the power that poured from him exerted a natural pressure and distortion on all life in the Multiverse.

This was also why multiversal lifeforms harbored such immense animosity towards visitors from the Sphere of the Gods.

Every Singularity is a being that has unified all of its past, present, and future. No matter the leaps across Space-Time, their existence can never be affected in the slightest.

When they enter the Omni-Sphere World, when they enter the Multiverse, their terrifying Singularity inflicts catastrophic destruction upon the existing Space-time. The current Space-time simply cannot bear a Singularity, yet it's impossible to split such a powerful being across time and space—to divide one into countless pieces to alleviate the pressure.

To the Multiverse, every Singularity is like a virus.

After stepping into Level Eight, this warping effect becomes even more terrifying, completely irreversible.

A Level Seven Single Universe Level being is on par with the sum total of a single Universe.

A Level Eight Multiverse level being is on par with the Multiverse.

And as for a being like Trigon… one could only imagine the burden he placed upon the Universe.
