Chapter 524: Kill Them

2022-10-19 Author: Great Demon Spirit

"Kill them."

Illyana, the queen of Hell's frontier, was not known for her good temper. Otherwise, she wouldn't be ruling such a terrifying place.

With a flick of her hand, she unleashed powerful dark magic. Viscous magical energy, mixed with an annihilating aura, transformed into a giant, malformed monster that roared and charged at the enemy.

Raven pulled back her hood and giggled. She stretched out her hand as her scarlet eyes began to glow. An incredibly dense demonic aura erupted from her—the purest power of a demon king inherited from Hell. This, combined with the knowledge from the Agalas Sanctuary, had granted Raven immense strength.

Anyone who didn't know better would think this dog-loving girl was harmless, but they would be gravely underestimating her terrifying mastery of magic.

She rarely acted, but that didn't mean she couldn't. Raven disliked killing, but one should never forget that her father was Trigon.

In the original timeline, Raven was destined to become the queen of Hell, serving as Trigon's top general and destroying countless universes.

"We want to negotiate! We, the Black Order, wish to negotiate with Lord Tony!!"

Ebony Maw's face was ashen as he shrieked, drenched in cold sweat.

Illyana and Raven paid him no mind and continued their assault.

BOOM!

Black Dwarf let out a low growl, blocking an attack with his hammer.

"Kill? Very well. Black Dwarf, I order you to attack! Kill those three on the other side! Supergiant, we're going in too."

Ebony Maw commanded swiftly.

Black Dwarf wasn't very bright and didn't think twice. When Ebony Maw told him to go, he went, brandishing his hammer. With a ferocious roar, Black Dwarf charged at the three of them.

A glint appeared in Ebony Maw's eyes. Amidst his fear, he seemed to be scheming something.

Supergiant didn't move at first, watching Ebony Maw coldly. Only after Ebony Maw made his move did she act.

Three-on-three. Logically, they should have been able to win. But if one of the three was a backstabber like Ebony Maw, their chances of winning took a hit.

Factoring in the brainless Black Dwarf, their chances dropped even further.

A melee erupted. Six demigods clashed in outer space, unleashing intense energy shockwaves and causing massive spatial fluctuations.

The longer the fight went on, the more Ebony Maw's heart sank.

They had already lost long ago. Ebony Maw wanted to stop fighting, but he didn't even have a chance to surrender.

"Roar!" Black Dwarf was sent flying. Max transformed into a massive current of electricity; every strike summoned cataclysmic bolts of lightning.

Raven and Ebony Maw were locked in a fierce battle. Ebony Maw quickly whispered, "I have always held Lord Tony in the highest admiration. I came here this time to surrender."

Raven was slightly stunned, and her movements faltered for a moment.

A look of joy flashed across Ebony Maw's face.

But Raven suddenly burst out laughing. "Tony told me you were the most cunning one. He told me not to believe a single word you say."

"The only good Ebony Maw is a dead Ebony Maw."

Raven gracefully extended her palm. Her dark cyan skin seemed to shift as her fingernails grew long and sharp. A sudden burst of dark power erupted, devouring Ebony Maw.

On the other side, Supergiant used every trick she had, only to discover in astonishment that her abilities were useless against Illyana.

"I can ignore psychic abilities. Even that old man Charles couldn't break through my mental defenses with Cerebro."

With a flick, magical armor appeared on Illyana's body, manifesting horns and scales that clung to her skin. A soul blade materialized in her hand. Grinning maliciously, she slashed at the panic-stricken Supergiant.

Illyana was the perfect counter to Supergiant. A psychic of the same level would be utterly powerless against her.

"Help me—" Supergiant let out a blood-curdling scream, looking helplessly at her comrades.

Unfortunately, they were all tied up.

It all happened in a flash. Supergiant was sliced in two by the blade, dismembered on the spot.

Her white hair, soaked in blood, turned a filthy color. The desire to live in her eyes turned to resentment and despair.

Supergiant wouldn't have died so quickly if she had just coordinated with the other two and swiftly avoided Illyana.

Alas, there were no "if's." In just a few seconds, Supergiant was dead.

Meanwhile, Max was weaker in terms of strength, but his survival skills were excellent. Facing Black Dwarf, he managed to maintain a stalemate.

Ebony Maw was trapped by Raven, and every passing second was an agony.

On another front, Proxima Midnight was also being surrounded and killed by the Kryptonian Legion.

Proxima Midnight could have easily defeated any Kryptonian soldier other than Hant. But unfortunately for her, the Kryptonians had no interest in a one-on-one fight; they simply swarmed her and beat her to death.

How tragic.

Corvus Glaive had no time to spare for his lover's death. At this moment, he was completely lost in a frenzied battle.

Gradually, he began to overwhelm Hant, using his scythe to carve off large chunks of flesh and blood.

"Hahaha, I'll kill you!! You're no match for me, Corvus Glaive!!" Corvus Glaive roared hysterically.

His own flesh was torn, revealing white bone, but he couldn't care less. Hant's injuries only served to excite him more.

Hant suddenly retreated to a distance and said gravely, "You're right, I'm not your match. To show my respect, I've decided to have you gang-beaten."

After speaking, he beckoned with his hand. The Kryptonian soldiers gathered around, sneering as they lunged at Corvus Glaive in unison.

Each of them moved at supersonic speeds, skillfully using Heat Vision. A single punch from any of them could deliver a force of ten thousand to one hundred thousand tons.

Corvus Glaive was engulfed by a dense barrage of attacks. He let out unwilling roars and miserable screams as he was quickly pummeled into a meat paste, leaving only his scythe floating in space. Hant snatched it.

"One hundred soldiers died," Hant said, his gaze cold and sharp as he surveyed the area.

"Honestly, if Lord Dormammu had acted, you wouldn't have had to lose these soldiers."

Dormammu emerged from a patch of darkness, his expression scornful.

"Soldiers who have never experienced bloodshed will never become elites," Hant said in a low voice.

Hant, holding the scythe with a cold expression, flew toward the main planet of Cybertron.

Tony's order was to bring the scythe back. It was an excellent experimental specimen.

"Perhaps Lord Tony's Artificial Celestial project requires this scythe," Hant pondered as he faithfully carried out his duty.

Dormammu snorted coldly and muttered unhappily. Then, filled with annoyance, he charged at Black Dwarf and quickly killed him.

"They're all cut from the same cloth. Tony is tough to deal with, and so is this bunch under him. Not long ago, that old geezer from the Agalas Sanctuary showed up, and then there's that gang of robots... When will it be Lord Dormammu's time to shine?!"

Dormammu lamented.

The sole survivor, Ebony Maw, shivered all over. His skin, already like old tree bark, was now completely creased with wrinkles. Overwhelming fear washed over him, and his body trembled uncontrollably.

Raven sent him flying with a single blow, then casually devoured him with a spell.

Hant brushed past them, glanced over, and then left with the scythe, entering the planet Cybertron.

With that, the Black Order was completely annihilated.

It seemed they were all wiped out, and many were deceived.

But they couldn't fool Tony.

The moment they obeyed Thanos's command, their miserable end was sealed, because Tony would never let them go.

"My lord, I've brought Corvus Glaive's scythe."

Hant arrived at the deepest part of the Academy of Sciences and respectfully presented the spoils of war to Tony.

Tony was his creator, the one who gave him life. Hant maintained a heartfelt humility and reverence.

"Very good, Hant. For those dead soldiers, extract their genes again and grant them rebirth."

Tony gave Hant a fleeting glance but didn't say much more as he took the scythe.

Or rather, he took Corvus Glaive's true body.
