Chapter 598

Chapter 585 Wait! I Have Something to Say!!!

2022-10-19 Author: Great Demon Spirit

Steppenwolf licked his lips, a fiery glint flashing in his eyes.

"Mobius, what the hell are you hiding!"

"I'm not hiding anything, don't go too far! You're nothing but an avatar right now!" Mobius roared.

"So you know I'm just an avatar? Even as an avatar, I'm more than enough to kill you." Steppenwolf sneered, his mouth splitting into a wide grin. With a roar, he lunged towards Qward.

"I will report this matter to the Prime Monitor. You will regret this." Mobius suddenly calmed down, his tone laced with a deep chill.

Steppenwolf's movements paused for a moment, a flicker of panic in his eyes, but it was quickly masked by greed. A mad hysteria filled his gaze as he stared at the planet before him.

The Prime Monitor was an extremely terrifying being. Entities like the Living Tribunal, Trigon, the Five Great Gods, Darkseid, and Ancient Doomsday were the kind of beings that would die if the Prime Monitor so much as breathed on them.

No one knew where the Prime Monitor's limits lay, because there was no one in this world who could force the Prime Monitor to use their full strength.

At this moment on Qward, the Anti-Matter Ultraman, a fellow named Duzun, stood up with a dark expression on his face.

"Duzun, Steppenwolf is coming to kill you." Mobius's voice echoed in his mind, infuriating him to no end.

His tyrannical and savage gaze was filled with a ferocious, blood-red light. The brutal Duzun looked vexed and growled, "You have to help me. I might not be able to beat that guy."

"It's not 'might not,' you definitely can't win," Mobius said. "You've absorbed too little Anti-Matter Energy; your combat power is extremely limited... Against an enemy of positive matter, you would have an overwhelming advantage. But against a being like Steppenwolf, who comes from the Sphere of the Gods, your paltry amount of Anti-Matter Energy is nowhere near enough."

Duzun's face twitched, his eyes shot with blood. His irascible expression was filled with murderous intent. A servant happened to be passing by, and Duzun punched from several hundred meters away. The servant was instantly blasted into a meat paste by the powerful air pressure.

"What the hell does he want?! Does Superman have a grudge against him? Or does he have a grudge against me?!" Duzun looked aggrieved.

He was fucking minding his own business, building up his power in the Anti-Matter Universe and not offending anyone, and now some top-tier powerhouse had inexplicably targeted him for a hunt. Anyone would be pissed off by this, let alone someone with his naturally tyrannical personality.

"Apokolips has always been very interested in you and your doppelgangers. That's never been a secret. Darkseid even personally adopted an infant doppelganger of yours, named Dark Superman."

Mobius said indifferently.

Duzun counted on his fingers: Golden Superman was hiding in the Fifth Dimension; Golden Superman was being hunted by Steppenwolf like a pathetic dog; Silver Superman had fought a bloody battle in the Sphere of the Gods before fleeing with grievous injuries; Bronze Superman had already been cut down; and the weakest, Black Iron Superman, wasn't far from death either...

Setting aside that Dark Superman who was willing to be Darkseid's son, it seemed he, the Anti-Matter Ultraman, was the only decent one left.

He knew about the Positive-Matter Ultraman; he was a complete weakling, not even worth mentioning.

Superboy-Prime's whereabouts were erratic and difficult to track.

It seemed... he, the Anti-Matter Ultraman, was the most conspicuous one left...

"Fuck!"

Duzun cursed loudly.

Who the hell did I provoke?

"What should I do?" Duzun asked, aggrieved.

"I will infuse you with anti-matter power so you can kill Steppenwolf," Mobius said.

"If you have that kind of ability, why don't you do it yourself? Why do you have to push me out front?"

"Because he came to kill you. I should have abandoned you to cut my losses, but I didn't. Duzun, you should be thanking me, not questioning me," Mobius said coldly.

Duzun got up sullenly. "I know, I know. You're so damn long-winded. If you're afraid of trouble, just say so."

At the same time, a sweat-drenched Sinestro suddenly looked up, his brow furrowed tightly. "What's happening?"

The Weapon Master said faintly, "Whatever is happening has nothing to do with you or me. The big guys will handle it."

After speaking, he continued to gaze obsessively at the unfinished power battery in his hands.

Sinestro looked suspicious, but he ultimately suppressed his doubts and continued his work with a grave expression.

...

Steppenwolf looked at Qward, which was now within arm's reach, so excited he could barely contain himself. He laughed madly, filled with immense anticipation and desire, and charged ferociously towards the planet.

"Steppenwolf, you dare to fuck with me?! Come and die!"

Duzun's irascible roar echoed as his powerful body flew out from Qward. With his blue battlesuit, red cape, and the giant S-emblem on his chest, his appearance was identical to that of his doppelgangers.

"Look, it's Lord Ultraman!"

"With the powerful Lord Ultraman fighting him, the enemy is doomed!"

The inhabitants of Qward breathed a collective sigh of relief and began to discuss excitedly.

Duzun majestically faced Steppenwolf, standing firm in space with a cold and stern expression. In his heart, however, he was already restless and uneasy, like an ant on a hot pan.

He had already made up his mind: if that scumbag Mobius dared to screw him over, this wouldn't be the end of it!

His irascible gaze lifted to meet Steppenwolf's even more frenzied one, and Duzun's posture unconsciously shrank.

"Oh? Ultraman...?" Steppenwolf let out a strange laugh and swung his axe, slashing down viciously.

A huge ripple exploded, spreading outwards like a shockwave across the boundless surrounding area. The giant axe instantly transformed into a sun, burning fiercely and radiating an aura of death as it chopped down towards the incomparably tiny Duzun.

Duzun's valiant expression instantly faltered. A waterfall of sweat poured down him, his body trembled violently, and his face contorted in fear.

He suddenly thrust out a hand in a stopping gesture, his aura imposing.

"Wait! I have something to say to you!!!"

Steppenwolf's movement paused slightly.

Duzun was almost completely soaked in sweat, his pupils dilating wildly. He watched in terror as the horrifying Divine Power brushed past him, shattering countless stars tens of thousands of light-years away.

"Speak," Steppenwolf spat out a single word, his eyes faintly revealing... anticipation?

He was hoping Duzun could give him some good news. Perhaps Duzun knew something about the Anti-Life Equation?

"This, uh, this..." Duzun's eyes darted around frantically, unable to think of anything to say for a moment. The deity before him was too terrifying; so powerful that his mere aura made him tremble uncontrollably.

Steppenwolf sneered, raised his axe again, and murderous intent filled the air. He held back no longer.

Duzun roared in terror, "Wait! I still have something to say to you!!!"

"Just die."

Steppenwolf smiled cruelly as the battle-axe in his hand erupted with vast Divine Power, looking as if it was about to completely annihilate Duzun.

Just then, a destructive aura suddenly surged up from Qward. Carrying a continuous stream of Anti-Matter Energy, it was violently stuffed into Duzun's body.
