Chapter 655

## Chapter 640: The Squad Returns to Earth

A group of young people, along with a duck, took off in a spaceship.

Bobby, John, Howard the Duck, Kara.

The three people and one duck embarked on a journey back to Earth, with the excuse of visiting John’s eighty-year-old grandmother. As for why they didn't use a Ground Bridge, John adamantly declared that arriving instantly via a Ground Bridge would be boring.

"Are you sure your spaceship is safe?"

Bobby stared at the heavily damaged door, which had only recently been patched up, a slight sweat beading on his forehead.

Kara declared with conviction, "This is a top-tier Kryptonian spaceship!"

"But there's a hole here... and honestly, I've been wandering around New Krypton for a few months, and there's definitely no spaceship like yours on Krypton." Bobby pointed.

"That was broken by a barbaric chef, but seeing as he helped me patch it up and even slipped me some money, I magnanimously forgave him," Kara waved her hand, lounging lazily on the bed, engrossed in playing a game console.

*Crack!*

In a moment of excitement, she crushed the game console.

"Play mine," John offered his own game console, trying to curry favor.

Kara gave him a dazzling smile. The beautiful and radiant Kara radiated a fatal charm that John, a young man in his early twenties, was utterly powerless to resist.

Bobby helplessly glanced at his best friend, and seeing his entire attention focused on Kara, he sighed, then directly stretched out his hand towards the large door, generating a massive amount of cold air to freeze the door once more.

"Your ability is Ice Manipulation?" Howard the Duck asked with interest.

The gentle Bobby nodded, "I can create absolute zero temperatures, stopping all microscopic particle movement."

Howard the Duck exclaimed, "A terrifying ability."

Howard, who had no real concept of power, simply did not understand how terrifying and astonishing this ability was. If Bobby wished, he could freeze all matter, directly annihilating everything from the microscopic level. When he grew to a certain extent, he could freeze the Multiverse in a single thought.

An Omega Level Mutant, as long as they didn't die prematurely, had a minimum growth potential starting at level eight.

Equally carefree, Kara didn't even lift her head upon hearing the conversation, focusing intently on her game. Her mental age was exactly the age most fond of gaming.

John revolved around Kara wholeheartedly, desperately trying to be attentive, and Kara's very serious responses made John ecstatic, leading him to naturally believe Kara was interested in him.

"Poor John."

Iceman carefully froze the large door, and after ensuring the temperature wouldn't damage the spaceship, he satisfyingly retracted his ability. He cast a veiled look of pity at John, who was immersed in love, and sighed deeply.

The Kryptonians' steel body was awe-inspiring; did John even have the ability to do anything profound? He might accidentally break something, and Kara wouldn't even feel it...

Would he have to use the legendary Kryptonite?

Iceman, with a look of pity, walked into the cockpit.

The spaceship was currently in autopilot mode, flying according to a complex program.

"Ultron, are you there?" Bobby asked.

"I am always here, Bobby," Ultron's voice sounded from Kara's spaceship.

As for the original artificial intelligence... it had been instantly eliminated and replaced by Ultron.

"Retrieve Kara's detailed information. I also want to know about the situation on Earth," Bobby said.

"Of course, Bobby, you possess authority second only to Tony, and can access all information in the Iacon Archives."

Ultron faithfully retrieved the recently uploaded file, which was marked with an A-level tag.

"A-level... Kara is receiving so much attention from the High Council? It was still B-level when I checked a few days ago," Bobby said with some surprise.

After receiving Howard and Kara, he and John had stayed in the Cybertron System for half a month before setting off for Earth.

"Kara's relevant information has been updated," Ultron replied succinctly.

Bobby tapped the virtual screen that appeared before him, clicking on a document labeled 'A'. The document opened like a book.

[Kara Zor-El, a member of the House of El from Old Krypton, born in XX year of Old Krypton, sent to Earth at 13 but was trapped in the Phantom Zone for 24 years... Assessment: An excellent individual with potential exceeding Clark Kent, but...]

Bobby frowned, then tapped the blank space following the "but," but was prompted that the subsequent information was artificially sealed.

"Ultron, open the subsequent information. There wasn't this additional content before," Bobby ordered.

"Bobby, you do not yet have the authority to unlock those secrets."

"What? I'm an Omega Level Mutant. Tony granted me S authority, code..."

"This is Tony's command. No one is permitted to view subsequent information except for him, unless he actively discloses it to you," Ultron replied.

Bobby grew increasingly surprised, his mind raced. His mind was excellent, and in an instant, he thought of many possibilities, but none of them seemed reliable.

"Kara is just an Old Krypton survivor. Although her experience is somewhat legendary, it's nothing that needs to be kept secret," Bobby said in astonishment.

"Only Tony knows," Ultron said.

Bobby turned off the display.

The Cybertron System was very open – at least the lower strata were very open, while the mid-to-High Council was highly centralized, with clearly defined boundaries that many residents accepted by default. Many Outsiders, such as mercenaries from the New World, were also happy to come to the Cybertron System to take on missions.

Just then, with a soft chime, the spaceship crossed an invisible barrier.

"The space-time boundary between the Pocket Universe and the Main Universe has been crossed."

Ultron broadcast the notification to all crew members.

No one was surprised, not even Kara; she was numb to it. Wasn't it just creating a Pocket Universe? A New God creating a Pocket Universe seemed to be no problem at all; otherwise, why would they be called Gods?

She didn't even know exactly how "new" or how "strong" the New Gods were, only having a vague concept. A God who could defeat the evil General Zod and rebuild Krypton must be a great God.

In her muddled state, Kara considered Tony a God second only to Rao.

Howard the Duck tried several times to pull out a cigar for a puff, but seeing his companions, who were either women or young men, he held back. Bored, he asked, "How long will it take us to reach this 'Earth'?"

"One week."

"What?" Howard the Duck's cigar fell to the ground, his eyes wide. "Are spaceships still this primitive these days? This is just going from one arm of the Milky Way Galaxy to another! I can't imagine how difficult galaxy travel would be with this spaceship."

Kara looked dejected, "Really? Is my ship that bad?"

"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean that, I just..."

"Shut up, duck!" John glared fiercely at Howard, "If you can get us a better spaceship, I'll recognize you as our boss!"

Howard was at a loss.

The four-person team drifted through the vast universe, and amidst their squabbling, finally, a week later, Earth appeared clearly in sight.
